Target Deals 3/14-3/20
Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target’s coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Plus, their coupon policy in now available to view online here and price matching policy here. Print them off and keep them with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.
**Also, Target is now giving a $0.05 credit for each reusable bag you use when checking out! I’m excited about this. It’s just another great way we’ll be able to save at Target. I would call ahead to make sure your local Target is participating.

Well, apparently, Target is giving overage any more on coupons. I got a bunch of stuff free today but when I looked at the receipt they had adjusted the coupon prices down. Which was find…I did buy other things and the overage would have been nice. I am in TN and my brother in FL is having the same problem. I even showed the policy and they said they didn’t care what the policy said…they didn’t do that. Anyone else having this problem??

Anyone try to purchase the gilette mens body wash at target? My target had them marked down to 1.79, so i picked up two, and the coupon says 4.00 off of any two the cashier said it does not equal up to 4.00 dollars and we wont get reimbursed for the coupon! Also my target gives you a hard time on the trial size items. Its so frustrating!!
I noticed at my Target checkout (it could have been there for awhile) they have a sign that states they will take one Target coupon and manufacturer coupon. So if the cashier gives you a hassle you can point to the sign 🙂

and got a peelie coupon in the mail yesterday on the new Easter catalog for $5 GC when you spend $50 or more. I handed this one over first as my starting total was @ $96.00.
Note the $1/2 Nutrigrain Bar Manufacturer coupon to sweeten the GC deal, and it stacks with the $1/2 Target coupons. There was also a $1/3 PopTarts coupon in the same insert, though I do not remember which week or RP or SS.
Not to bad for a single dad that got ‘trained’ by Collin this past August.

I <3 my Target. I rarely have an issue when I go in the evenings and have the high school kids ring my purchases. I did this deal on Saturday with no questions. I used the Old Spice buy a Deodorant get a body wash free and an Old Spice buy a Body Wash and get a deodorant free from the 3-7 P&G. They have to be the Odor Blocker deodorant and the new white plastic container deodorant, but I got 4 deodorant and 4 body wash and used 4 of each coupon and got them all for sales tax!!!! The cashier questioned it for a second, but when I explained that I could use one coupon per item, and they were for separate items he had no problem with it.
His direct quote when I was done was "Wow, you make most of the people that shop here look really dumb for spending so much money on the same stuff. I remember seeing those coupons in the paper at home last week and I will be doing this tomorrow when I get off work." I told him that I was glad to help him save a little and told him to check out Hip2Save.com and learn how to REALLY Save!!!

I am in Southaven and will hardly set foot in the Horn Lake store if it can be avoided. I have better luck with the Olive Branch store, but it is still a crap shoot at times. I try to follow the advice of so many and look for younger cashiers who don’t look like they will scrutinize everything and carry my coupon policy with me. I like to go to some of the stores in Memphis when I am in the area– higher tax rate, but totally different experience!
Thanks for the heads up. I want to try to get my free stuff so i can donate it. I don’t want to cause a scene in the store, but it sure frustrates me when we aren’t doing anything wrong & they look at you like you are trying to steal stuff.

Deal and she said, “You can’t do this you are getting it for FREE!” I said, yes they could do it. She went to the manager and they told her to take it. Then I had two of the Battleship handheld electronic game on clearance for $2.48 each and tried to use two $3.00/1 Hasbro coupons. She again went to the manager and he said that I could only use one of the coupons for both items. I asked if they could adjust the coupon down to the price of the item and he said they can not do that on clearance items. To top it all of she pulled out every single item I had in purchased and matched them up to the coupons!!! Very frustrating.
Horrible experience at Target tonight, pretty much everything in my coupon stack beeped. I tried to tell the cashier she could just push “K1” to push it through, which the screen showed, but she insisted that you “can’t do that anymore” and manually entered every amount. There were several people behind me huffing and puffing! The cashier said “do you have any coupons that don’t do this (beep)” and said in exasperation “COUPONS!” for the other customers and another associate to hear. She also said “once you get under zero, we can’t take anymore coupons”, which didn’t ever happen. I said “I know, that won’t be the case.”
Nice Target..not! I may just boycott because I have bad experiences there quite a bit.

My Target Band Aid coupon worked fine, but the manufacturer Band Aid coupon beeped. Seriously, their beeping drives me nuts! Seems like it never fails that it beeps on something it shouldn’t, but you can use a $25 coupon on a Matchbox car and it’ll go right through giving you the overage and not causing a fuss at all.
Most of my coupons beep at Target too but i havent had a problem in the 2 months I’ve been doing deals there….*crosses fingers*
I went to Target yesterday and tried to use the Suave shampoo coupon. The ones that are on sale are the regular shampoo’s. The coupon say $1.00 off any 2 Suave profesionals I could not use it ;(
