Monica, go back to facebook and see if you can print the Planters coupon again. I did and I got to print my second.
I was able to print two per computer, BUT when I went to Walgreen’s .. there was an issue, of course. Didn’t make them free, however, I did get 4 bags for a little over $1 total. You HAVE to give them the manufacturers coupons FIRST and then the Wag’s coupon … the Wag’s coupon will ONLY deduct $1.50 and NOT $2 for the 4 bags … just so you know.

The first time I tried printing it said I had already printed. I closed facebook and tried again and it let me print 2. Strange.

They should be available at the store by the front door by the ads, but they sometimes go pretty quick.
Off topic, but it looks like next week at Walgreens there’s a coupon for $8 off Crest 3D white strips and for all of us that requested a free sample a while back, it came with a coupon for $10 off so I’m guessing you can combine them for a good deal on white strips?

Has anyone been having problems using 2 coupons on a BOGO free item? I tried to do the Oscar Mayer bacon yesterday and the lady said they have never allowed to use 2 coupons on a BOGO free item. Now I know I wasn’t at my regular Walgreens but I even explained that you actually getting 2 items for half price not BOGO. But they still wouldn’t except it.
What $1 off 2 coupon do you use from the March Coupon Book? I don’t see one for planters and I have 2 booklets in front of me?
It’s 4 pages in from the back of the coupon booklet….after counting 4 pages (don’t count the back of the booklet) then turn the 4th page and you’ll see it in the middle of the page 🙂
Just wanted to let everyone know that I did this on my lunch and the register beeped. My cashier read over the coupons and said that she would just push them through. Don’t know why it beeped – overage or because it was trial mix? not sure.
I had the SAME problem and because of it, they had to re-run everything. Put thru the mfg coupons first and then the Wag’s …. the Wag’s would ONLY take $1.50 off of 4 bags (not the “double” as it usually does), so I paid a little over $1 for the 4 bags .. still a great deal, but not free.
I had this same problem too and the clerk would not force it. She said sometimes they run across MFCs that, for whatever reason, can’t be used in tandem with the store coupon so I left w/o anything…
If these are a money maker starting monday, why wait when you can still get them free now? Can you use the overage towards other items? Thanks.
I just tried to purchase the trail mix at my Walgreens and I could NOT use the manufacture coupons for $1.50 off because they said it did not have a picture of the trail mix on the coupon. How annoying. I think I need to go to a different Walgreens because every single time I go there they reject at least one of my coupons and won’t over ride it

I just got back from Wags and tried this deal. She ran all 3 coupons through, Wags coupon last. The wags coupon only took off 50 cents (instead of $1), she said it was because my total at that point was .98 and she wouldn’t do it manually. So I ended up paying .48 for two bags. Still a good deal, but bummed they weren’t free. I think its SO weird that every wags store/register handles things differently. It seems like they need to get it together and streamline things!

spokane walgreens won’t match their coupon book with manufacturers coupons. Said that the coupon books are MC.
Some dude at my Wags tried to tell me that the Wags Q’s are Manu. Q’s and can’t be used together. I think that is a bunch ‘o’ crud. They do not mail them in like manu. Q’s, right? This guy told me that they infact did redeem them for face value plus 8 cents. I believe he bold face lied to me. I don’t wanna cause waves though. I like my Wags and usually everyone’s nice.
I went to Walgreens and the guy made me hand over the store coupons first, then he said the computer would only let him use one of the manufacturer coupons. There was $1.60 left and I had a $1.50 coupon! Rats!
starting sunday 21st they will be on sale for 2/$3 so you won’t have to use the walgreens coupon.
I had no problem getting this deal today at Walgreens. I got 2 Trailmixes for $1.99 a piece-used the 2 $1.50 off coupons and the Wags $1 off coupon together to make both FREE! what a deal! I also got a great deal on 3 four packs of highlighters. The BIC brand 4 packs were on sale w/ coupon in this weeks ad for 49 cents limit 3. They did not have the BIC brand so they subsituted the Sharpe brand 4 pack instead (reg. over $3) so I got 3 Sharpie 4 packs for $1.47! w/ tax I spent $1.83 for 2 trailmixes and 3 packs of highlighters! My best deal yet!!! I’m so excited! 🙂
They are priced $2.69 at my Wags. Should I have had them price checked? But I did get 4 packs of eclipse gum for free!!! They were on clearances for 32 cents each pack and the cashier said let’s see if you can use the coupon from the booklet and it took off $1.28 which was the total for the 4 packs!!
Or you can wait until next week when they are on sale for 2/$3 and turn it into a $1 money maker when you buy 2!
Wondering if the people who have had trouble getting the full amount of the Walgreens coupon to come off have had any filler items or are they just buying trail mix?
It appears that Angela #33 bought markers, too and had no troubles.
I have been seriously couponing for about a year now and I have a question that I would love to see answered if I can make myself understood… LOL. If you have products that total less than the amount of your coupons — when do you just need a “filler” item that can be ANY item and when do you need something that is actually one of the products that you have a coupon for?
I know a lot of times we have things ( like maybe the above scenario?) where we are 2 cents or so shy from being able to use our coupons so we can grab an inexpensive filler item and the coupon won’t beep.
However, I am almost positive that there have been other times ( I’m thinking of the Ecotrin aspirin that was $2 but I think there were $2.25 printable coupons) where the coupon amount had to be applied only to the product specified.
In the Planters case, it may be b/c of the Walgreens coupon. Any thoughts on this??? Sorry to be so long, but I have a little one and I don’t like to “try” things out very much just to have to void a transaction.
