My target has always been great with coupons so I’m anxious to see how this goes, will report back 🙂
50 cent beach towel and free connect4 game ! awesome!
On top of that the connect 4 game had the free medium dominos coupon inside!!! yay!
My cashier tried to tell me this coupon was only valid on the $5.99 towels. I asked her why since the coupons says “beach towel” and the tag on the towels says “beach towel”. She called a manager over who said they had to honor it….but in a tone like she wasn’t happy about it.
That same thing happened to me today. I told her it said beach towel on the coupon and pointed to the beach towel that I had and asked her if this was a beach towel. She still didn’t honor it. I would have asked for a manager but it was the only item I had and was NOT in the mood to bother with that today. Maybe another day I will go back and try again.
I had the same problem. They would not accept the coupon for the $2.50 towel – they said they do not accept coupons toward the stuff up front – any of the $1 products or other products in that area. They were very cranky at my Target in Woburn, MA last night. They wouldn’t take a lot of my coupons. They said they have a new policy, if the coupon beeps, they don’t accept the coupon – grrrr!
Got one today for .50! Cashier said nothing!

I got 10 free sobe, 1 connect 4, and two towels, total spent $1.77 incl tax plus i got a $5 GC back! the $3 hasbro beeped and so did the towels but the gal did not give a rip and pushed it through! I never have trouble at Target!

Oh did I have trouble at Target, after my items were bagged and we started the coupons, the towel one beeped. Cashier called a manager over, who told me it had to be the striped towels in the picture. I stated that it DOES NOT specify what towel you have to get. She then told me she has the right to REFUSE any or all of my coupons in a NASTY tone. She then told me I needed to take everything out of my cart so she could look over the rest of my coupons to make sure I am not trying to pull a fast one. She saw my diapers and the two coupons a target and regular coupon. Asked where on the item it said Jumbo diapers. Then I told her the coupon policy right next to the register says they except one of each. She reminded me she can REFUSE any coupon she wants. So I told her forget it, and I won’t EVER be shopping there AGAIN! I have NEVER been so embarrassed.
I had issues at my Target last night too – I wonder why they are being so cranky. I had all the correct coupons for my items, but if it beeped, they would take it. I returned everything that beeped. I was very embarrassed.
Wow! I don’t understand why a manger would want to be so rude to a customer!!! It certainly does not help their bussiness! I think I would call corperate about that! That is just ridiculous!
I used the beach towel coupon yesterday with no problems. The towels are thin, and I don’t know that I would pay $2.50 for one. But 50 cents was a good deal. I’m concerned about the Connect 4 coupons, though. My Target coupon said it was good for “Connect 4×4”. I noticed there was a game called “Connect 4×4” (not just “Connect 4”) that was more expensive and not on sale. So I don’t know that this coupon was meant to be used for the regular Connect 4 game.
I just noticed this on my Hasbro TQ! I used one yesterday and the cashier must have just pushed it through. I was going to try it again, but think I will pass. $3 is still a great price for this game. 🙂

She said there were towels in the bath section that have the same print as the q’s did and she would not take them unless I bought the more expensive towels. I told them to just put them back. I then told her maybe you should put a sign up where the $2.50 towels are that says the $2.00 off coupons will not be allowed on these towels. She didnt say anything. So another deal not gotten….but Owell no biggie!

Maybe it had something to do with trying to get six? You might have had better luck with just one.
How did you get 6 coupons? It’s only printing one per computer. Are these copies you made and is that why they beeped?

Got my $.50 towel. Cashier even asked if I had the coupon. She thought it was cool. She told my daughter, “aren’t you proud of your mother for saving so much with coupons?”. Also got light bulbs!
I don’t see the towel coupon on the Target web site any more. Thought to go back to get a matching pair.
Got 3 of the hot pink towels. Had 3 qs! Bought the monopoly game the other day with a q. It’s pretty good and well worth the $3. DD had the BOGO coupons for the physician formula’s make up and our target had a clearance sign up on the make up she wanted. They were marked down to $3 ea from $12.96 ea! When she got up to cash register the make up rang up full price, she told the cashier about the clearance sign and a manager went over to confirm and remove the signs. The cashier gave her a thumbs up, called her a Rock Star and pushed thru the clearance price and the coupon.
Got the big turn down at the register for the towels. Oh well.
I got my towel today and a bed pillow for 2.50 after coupon, so beach towel and pillow for bed came to $3.00. Thanks for the great finds.
I had trouble at first, but she honored it and turned from being a happy Chatty Cathy, to sulking teenager. I totally feel it is important to be honest about the coupons, but if it does not specify min. cost, size, etc then I wish they would not get so huffy. I am not trying to cheat them, run them out of business, or take away part of a paycheck or something. I still try to be nice though..even though they were not nice in the end to me.

I got 2 purple striped towels for this summer. I try start buying summer things for when the kids go to camps. I don’t like to send expensive things. I also got 10 Sobe and 6 Connet 4 games and 3 card games (for 48 cents). I had to get a rain check for the Monoply games.
I used the coupon yesterday for the beach towel and had no problems!!!! thank you!!!!
My cashier told me that I needed to buy the $12 towel from the back of the store. She said if I bought the $2.50 towel it would be too little. I told her that the coupon didn’t specify what kind of beach towel. She didn’t offer any solution. I wish there wasn’t always a line behind me or I would have asked her to void it. Now I have to go back and return it.
I got two of the $5.99 beach towels and two bed pillows all for $10. I am so excited! The pillows ended up only being $1 each! Woo hooo! thanks y’all!
I don’t usually have problems at Target, I know most people always have problems, but today they would not accept the arm and hammer Toothpaste Q or the ST. Ives Q. I’ll just try again with another cashier.

Aare the $2 coupons beeping on the $2.50 towels? I don’t even want to try if it’s beeping. I went yesterday and couldn’t find them at my local Target but wanted to try again at another. I used the $1 coupon for the Dial Nutri Skin hand soap and it beeped. The cashier put it through but I thought from reading people’s comments that it was going through for some.
Yes, they beep. Don’t feel like you’re missing out, though, because they are super thin and most stores seem to carry only a hideous shade of hot pink. They aren’t really suitable at the beach or pool except as maybe a backup towel (because they won’t take up a lot of room in your bag). I wouldn’t have even bothered if it weren’t for the fact that I wanted something with a large surface area that didn’t take up a lot of room in my car.
Are the Target coupons gone or do I nees to put in a different zip code? I am looking for the towel, SoBe, & Dial Nutriskin?
