This is off topic, but I just got back from walmart and they had Hungry Hungry Hippos (the children’s game) on clearance for $4.00! I used the $4.00 off one printable Collin posted a while back to snag the game for FREE! These would make great donations for christmas, or a good addition to Easter baskets! I don’t know if this is the price at all Walmarts, but the clearance sticker said $7.00 and when I priced checked they were only $4.00.
The also had Callaway golf towels (men’s gift basket?) for $1.00 (regularly $15.00 each!) and 24 packs of Titech golf balls for $2.00. More details on my blog if anybody is interested. Ok, back to on topic, I’m so excited and crossing my fingers for the snuggle coupon in my inserts in the morning.
Woah! I will be for sure checking my WalMart tomorrow– coupon shopping day is tomorrow! Well, I think EVERYDAY is a coupon shopping day for me! hehe!

Rumor has it that they moved the P&G to April 4th. I REALLY want to see it in tomorrow’s paper!! Guess we’ll see… 🙂

Remember to stock up for Kmart’s super-doubles too! Especially if your Kmart refuses to accept computer printed coupons from anywhere other than their website like mine does.

YAY ! I was wondering when the coupons for the Lysol no touch soap system would be coming out. I can’t wait to pair these with a sale !!!!
Every sale that I have come across the sales, even with the sale price, or the $5 walgreens coupon paired with a man q, it’s still always cheaper at Walmart, because the drug stores have them all priced around $14.99. They are $9.97 at Walmart, and they are in the body wash isle. There is a $1 RiteAid coupon that could be paired, but again, if it’s not on sale then it’s not worth it.
I bought 3 at rite aid today and paid $3 something out of pocket.
Does anyone know other places where the snuggle is a good price after q? I’m new and everyone is so excited about it. The only place I seen mentioned is Food Lion for a deal but I dont have one of those here. Thanks!
At target I saw Snuggle Fabric Sheets on sale for, I believe, $3.28 for the 120 count. Amazing! Only .28 cents each, STOCK UP!

Our Sunday paper comes out late on Saturdy night and I just couldn’t wait until Sunday morning to get mine and I was looking through it and K Mart has their Snuggle 2 for $5.
Sounds weird, but I just looked at all of these coupons today. They were in my mom’s newspaper from last week. I am bummed because I wanted more of the Snuggle coupons. I wonder if the same ones will be in the paper this week? Anyone else have these already?

How can I find someone with a coupon hookup? I am super frustrated at having to buy newspapers with really bad inserts.
You could befriend an employee at your local convenience store and get them to save the unsold papers for you on Sunday night…just a thought.
My mother in law get’s two different papers on Sunday, and she is not very into couponing at all. She takes one or two that she want’s and then she gives me the rest.

I bought one paper and it had two smartsources and no Red Plum. People steal them out of there and it pisses me off. I never rely on the paper for q’s. One time there was supposed to be 3 and they were all missing.
I’ve had missing coupon inserts in my paper before too! I try to check and make sure that they are all in there, but it’s hard if you are buying more than 1 paper. One time I sent my husband to get me 3 papers, and they were all missing the inserts! When this happens to me, I go back and to the store and tell them that the inserts were missing and they have always let go through and find them from another paper. Obviously I don’t want the next person to not get there inserts, so I have them set that paper aside. People who want the coupons but don’t want to buy more than one paper are the ones who take them and shove them into the one paper they are actually buying. It’s stealing and it’s not right. 🙁
Yeah, I bought 4 papers today, and only got 3 sets of inserts altogether. *Highly* annoying!!

Wouldn’t ya know, my paper showed up this morning with the redplum missing the outside cover…I’m guessing the snuggle coupon was on the first page because I didn’t get it. Coincidence? I think not. so bummed. Gonna have to go buy another paper.
I am sure there are instances of newspaper delivery people taking inserts as well as people that steal the inserts out of papers when purchasing at a store. I have many times not had inserts, been missing an insert or 2, etc.
Andrea, I want you to slow down there on accusing the paper delivery people of stealing coupon inserts. My son is a paperboy and we’ve had our newspaper bundles stolen more times than we can count and we have had people run over them with their cars or trucks and destroy the entire bundle! When we’ve gotten the replacement papers not all of them will have all the inserts they orginially had because the newspaper only has so many of those inserts and have run out. And sometimes the paper will just run out of ads/inserts and papers won’t have them because there just isn’t any – not because people are stealing them! Just talk to your newspaper and ask them why you didn’t receive your inserts and I’ll bet they’ll more than willing to work something out with you or at least tell you why you didn’t get your inserts. The newspaper business is a dying business and they want to keep as many customers as they can. And of course they know that the coupon inserts are what drive most of their Sat/Sun sales. Just please please please be careful on not accusing your delivery boy of stealing your inserts! Everytime a customer complains or wants a new paper the newspaper that my son works for will punish the delivery boy – my son makes .09¢ a paper (plus he has to purchase the rubber bands and plastic bags) and if someone complains he will get charged $1.00 for each complaint plus he will be removed from any incentives that reward good service. A dollar may not seem much to you but one dollar is like getting 2 weeks of papers for Free from the kid who is delivering your paper to your doorstep.
And to be really honest with you my son delivers the paper 6 days a week including holidays – it is always a rush to get those papers rolled up, rubber banned, bagged and delivered on time – not much time is spent on checking inserts because those are inserted before my son gets his bundle at production. We’ve run into other newspapers’ delivery people and they are rubber banding & bagging papers in their car sometimes – it’s a huge rush to get those papers out in time. We don’t know what inserts will/should be included and the paper doesn’t tell us if there is a paper shortage, problems with production, etc. missing inserts aren’t always due to theft.

I am in North East Florida & there was no snuggle coupon in our paper… and worse, there were only 2 inserts. What a bummer!
UGHHHH! I absolutely HATE our newspaper inserts. I drove out 15 mins. to a newspaper stand specifically for the $5 Lysol No Touch coupon. Guess what…it wasn’t in there!!! Nothing in our inserts except for stupid full page advertisements scattered with a few coupons I never use. I just don’t get it. I live in the Montgomery, AL area, which isn’t a small town. Up the road you have Prattville/Millbrook, and they get the Birmingham news with triple the coupons in their paper. What the heck gives???? I really wish we could band together and ask stupid Montgomery Advertiser to press harder to get these companies to put their coupons in our paper! So frustrating.
On the Lysol website there is supposed to be coupons for the new No Touch soap dispenser. I am going to check there.

I just got back from getting 2 different newspapers, and to my luck all 3 inserts were there. I did not see the coupon for Snuggle, but I’ll have to look again. I am planning to run out to get 1-2 more papers and then the WAGS coupon book and all……
I got our local paper and a major city paper, Fort Worth Star Telegram and the FW one has all the good coupons in it while our little small city paper sucks… If you have a store in your area that sells a larger city paper you may want to buy that one instead. Especially if you are just wanting it for the Q’s. Not every store sells these, but we have a Truck Stop gas station and they sell the FW one, plus the Washington Post and some other major cities papers.
I buy my small town paper, and the paper for the nearby bigger town to get my q’s and ads. My small town paper doesn’t always have the inserts and never has the ads.

wow…I am sooooooooooooooooooo mad! I’m a realitive newbie and this hasn’t happened yet…until today…because the inserts were so good I bought 6 papers today at 2 bucks each…and all 6 and only one insert the crappier of the two ss!!! What the heck, normally, when the preview is posted I more or less get the inserts…Will the paper give me my money back?…I only purchase the paper for the inserts. Thanks
