UPDATE: The Dove Register Reward is NOT rolling anymore!

Yay! I just heard reports that the *HOT* $4 Dove Register Reward deal is rolling! What does this mean?! Well, it means that you can currently use the $4 Dove Register Reward deal you earned from a previous transaction to buy another Dove Shampoo or Conditioner or Styling Product and you’ll get back another $4 Register Reward… and you can keep “Rolling” this! You cannot usually “roll” the same Register Reward deals, so take advantage of this while you can!

Deal Scenarios:

#1

Buy 1 Dove Shampoo or Conditioner or Styling Product for $4 = $4RR
Use the $2/1 coupon
found here (Not available anymore)
(There is also a $1.50/1 coupon available in the 3/28RP)
Pay $2
Get back a $4 Register Reward!

#2

Buy Dove Shampoo or Conditioner or Styling Product $4
Plus, buy one “filler” item for your coupon to item ratio
— example– Walgreens One Daily Multivitamins 100 count $3
Total = $7
Use the $2/1 coupon
found here
(There is also a $1.50/1 coupon available in the 3/28RP)
Plus, use the $4/1 Register Reward from the previos transaction
Pay $1 + tax
Get back a $4 Register Reward from the Dove and a $3 Register Reward from the Walgreens Multivitamins!
Final Cost both items FREE + a $6 moneymaker!

(Thanks, Tonya, Susie, and Sarah!)

I just hate dealing any more with our local walgreens, its always something with them not wanting to honor a coupon.

    • Erin

Me, too! I stupidly went there today (and saw a possible Hipster buying a basket full of Dulcolaxes ; ) and tried to get the Airwick imotions. Unfortunately, at 50% off, they rang up at $3.99–and the coupons were for $4. I bought two, so one coupon went through, and the manager wouldn’t adjust the price nor the value of the coupon for the second. I had them take one off my order, so I got the other for free, as well as some clearance ice cream (b/c I hate to walk out w/o actually buying something with money). Any thoughts on how I can use the second coupon?

      • Paula

Me too! Got no coupon:( The imotion at my store was 12.99 1/2 off is 6.50 whatever! They are also insisting that you use in ad coupons 1st. I asked why this is the lame excuse I got “because in ad Q’s are also Manufactor Q’s & if they are not rang up first then your real MQ’s might not work”. Give me a break! They have figured out the overage thing I am thinking. After I use up my RR’s from today I think I AM DONE with Walgreens! It is always something anymore.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Try checking out at the cosmetic counter. I have WAY better luck there. The girl actually told me to to RR first to make sure they go through, then man Q’s & always wait last for any Walgreens store coupons. Perfect for me because I will for sure get overage if there is any. 😛 They seem to be nicer at that deaprtment & you will not have a line forming behind you as quickly if tehre is a coupon issue. HTH!

          • Irene Graves

I think they are jealous. They work there and can’t figure out how to get the best deals at their own store. The ducolax had a hangtag coupon for 2.00 off bottled water. My cashier tried to tell me that it meant one bottle of water. No way, it says bottled water not a bottle of water… She put it thru with no beeps..

      • Tonya

I bought about 15 i-motions today (at 2 different locations) and the last coupon I tried to use beeped at both stores. She tried to explain it to me….but i didn’t get it. Still a great deal!

        • Erin

Yeah, so what do we do with the last Q? : )

  2. Bailey

Thanks for the post, but I don’t think you can roll back $RR for products on same company.

  3. Rachel

sometimes the rr’s roll. its a rariety but it happens.

looks like the coupons from the link you provided are gone. darn.

    • Bailey

I’ve tried this last night and it won’t work. The cashier warned me not to use $RR on items from the same company. For example, I got 2 $4RRs from doing 2 separate dove shampoo & conditioner transactions. Then, I used $8RR from earlier transaction to get back $3RRs for buying $15 worth of participating dove product; however, it didn’t print it since the $RR I used was from Dove transaction. If you want to roll back $RRs, use $RRs from different company.

      • Rebekah

sometimes one from the same exact product will roll, however it is an at your own risk situation as it could quit rolling at any time.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

that is because you used a dfferent RR. You need to use the same exact $4 RR from the dove shampoo that you just bought and it will roll meaning you WILL get another $4 RR. That is the point of Collins post. I love it when this happens, 🙂

  4. Tonya

I’m headed over there shortly! Yeah 😉

  5. ThriftyPuppy

Bailey, that’s normally true but there are exceptions sometimes. I can confirm that the RR for the Dove is indeed rolling (until Walgreens figures it out and fixes it.) I wouldn’t cound on it rolling past today or maybe tomorrow, if history serves.

  6. Colleen Neel

The Dove printable is out of prints:(

  7. jen

coupon is depleted….must be out of prints, bummer!

  8. Amanda

If it doesnt roll it is still a pretty good deal anyway why not just try it??

  9. Midwestern Morsels

There are $1.50/1 peelies on the Dove Shampoo and Conditioner at my Walgreens!!! So even if you can’t get the printable coupons for $2 you can still make $1.50 MONEYMAKER!!!

    • Nichole

I had the 1.50 coupons all over my Walgreens Dove products! It was awsome! Walked out with CHEAP! shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, AND tons of paper towels!

  10. Stevie

I was already there this morning and didnt try to roll them but I dont want to try just incase it doesnt work.

  11. Sandy

Oh Collin, you are the Goddess of Good News today! I’m going to try it and let you all know how it goes.

  12. Midwestern Morsels

There are $5.00 mail in rebate hang tag on the Dulcolax as well so if you use the printable coupons and submit the mail in rebate it’s a $9.00 MONEYMAKER!!!

    • Sandy

I saw those but the ones on the bottles I found have already expired. 🙁

      • Midwestern Morsels

Not the ones at my Walgreens!

        • Sandy

You lucky, lucky girl! Good for you!

        • bfam

Lucky! The ones at my Wags had to be postmarked by 3/7/10.

  13. Shell

I tried to print those coupons yesterday and they were out. I am hoping for some in my inserts today. The preview says there should be some good ones, but the inserts have been missing in my area lately 🙁

  14. Kimberly

    It does indeed roll!!!!

    • Sandy

      What area are you in?

  15. Midwestern Morsels

Doesn’t roll here in Fort Wayne, IN.

    • Kristy

Thanks for the info that I shop in Ft Wayne In too

  16. Pat

If the website is depleted of coupons, shouldn’t you mention that in the body of your website like when deals are dead?

    • R

I am sure Collin did not know they were out. Coupons can go so fast once people know about them. It is still a great deal if you use the coupon from your Sunday paper.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes she should test them before posting because the coupons have been out for at least a week. I looked ahead at I heart wags and slick deals and tried to print them then (even though it was reported on SD that they were already out) and in fact it was true, so there were no prints long before collin posted the deal 🙁

      • Kari

I can’t believe you people are whining about not checking the coupons!!! DON’T YA THINK SHE DOES ENOUGH FOR US?!?! 😀

        • Shell

I really like this site and I am sure Collin enjoys helping others save money. However, I think she does this for the money this blog makes her and for all the people who now idolize her. I don’t save any more money since I visit this blog, than before I did. That is because this same info is all over the net. I get twitter alerts all day from mutliple sources telling me about the sam edeals and coupons – some much sooner than Collin does. I lmao every time I see someone yelling at someone’s comment when they think Collin has been dissed. She is a big girl and handle the comments, or else she wouldn’t have a blog – it comes with the territory.

          • Mlovescouponing

I think you should remove your comment from this site. Completely uncalled for and very, very rude. What nerve you have to say that Collin only does this for money. Good for her that she can do this for money AND stay home with her kids, plus it’s something she enjoys. I’d just keep your nasty comments to yourself.

          • Dawn

Dear dear Shell, you say you “don’t save any more money since I visit this blog, than before I did” then why are you still here? Hello? And so what if she makes money on her blog at the same time she is saving money and helping others to save? Capitalism rocks.

      • tarin

Seriously? Really? Why don’t you check that way collin can find more deals for the rest of us.

        • Mlovescouponing

          Amen sister!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You should be a little more grateful for all the hard work Collin does for all of us! She has saved me over $3,000 this year since 1/1/10! Is it really hard to click the link & see if the prints are out yourself? ALSO sometimes prints will be out & then they add more —> I have ran across this several times! I would much rather her spend time with her family or use her time to cook up the next great deal for us instead of checking print limits on every single link which is time consuming for her. She has a family with 3 kids which is time consuming to balance alone so I am VERY grateful she has time to do this website! THANK YOU COLLIN! I APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK!

      • Kari

That was by far the RUDEST COMMENT I have ever seen on this site!!! Shame on you!!

        • Mlovescouponing

I know, I HAD to say something…I just couldn’t stand it!

    • Melissa

Thats just the name of the game. h2s is not the only savings site out there…there are thousands and as soon as someone posts a hot deal, it spreads like wildfire. I’m sure Collin printed them as soon as they were available last week and even if she were to check, she would get a page that says Sorry You’ve Already Printed. So, its not til someone here says that, so she can update her post.
I’ve missed out on printables too…no reason to be nasty to the site owner. All I have to say is KARMA baby..KARMA!

  17. Jamie

Dumb question (sorry) but if I buy 2 in one transaction, will $8 in RR print? Or do I need to do separate transactions?

    • Cathy

      Separate

    • Gina

      Jamie
You will have to separate your orders. If you look at your ad it says ‘limit 1 coupon printed per offer’ and basically what that means is that you have to separate your orders. Since walgreens really doesn’t know how many transactions you do, you can do multiple transactions and get multiple RR. However, if you try to buy 2 shampoos in one order, only 1 RR will print because of the limit. HTH!

    • kelly

thats not a dumb question–because thats how cvs ecb’s work. but at walgreens you have to do them seperately! i just got a year supply of shampoo and conditioner! yea!!
      *kelly
today was a great day at walgreens, i had crazy profit…like $25!!! My walgreens manager let me get the 24 pack of bottled water that was on sale with the in-ad coupon for $2.99 with the $2 ducolax/water coupon….I just paid the 99 cents (which was covered by other RR’s so it was free 🙂
my walgreens doesnt have the revlon fantasy length lashes in store yet–but they are supposed to be on sale 3/31-4/03 for $5.00 (minus the $5 coupon booklet=99 CENTS) I desperately want these! I use false eyelashes all the time—anyone see these in their stores? im wondering if they’ll come on the new shipment mid-week. *crossing my fingers*
      *kelly

      • kelly

*I meant on sale for $5.99 oops.

  18. Jessica W.

There is also a Dove shampoo/conditioner coupon in today’s newspaper – I think it was $1.50/1 in mine. So not quite as great a deal as the $2/1 printable but pretty close!!

  19. MoKeaton

Stupid question, but can someone explain to me the whole “coupon to item ratio” thing. It’s confusing me. Also, right now at CVS if you buy the Schick fusion cartridges and razor, you get a $5 ECB. Do you think it would work using the buy a Shick Fushion cartridge get the razor free coupon? Also, do the ECB’s load to your card and apply automatically on the next trans, or does it print out like a coupon? A lot of questions I know. Thanks for the help.

    • Sandy

First of all, at Walgreen’s the computers are not capable of recognizing limits. So, if you are purchasing an item and using a Walgreen’s coupon from either the 7-day flyer (Sunday sale ad) or the Walgreen’s monthly coupon book, the Walgreen’s Children’s Activity book or the Wags IP’s you find on their website and the coupon states limit of 2, you can actually buy as many of that item as you want and the computer will give you the price indicated.

To address your coupon to item ratio question. The computer system at Walgreen’s will only allow you to use as many coupons as you have items. If you have 3 coupons, then you need to be purchasing 3 items. However, the coupons from the 7-Day ad and the IP’s from their website are not recognized by the computers as part of the count. That proves to be helpful when you are trying to purchase items with coupons and RR and need a “filler”. For example, say you bought Dove shampoo and a Dentek product, you would have a $4 RR and a $2 RR. Now you want to buy the Dulcolax and you have a $4 MFQ and you want to utilize the $4 and $2 RR’s to keep your OOP down. You will need to purchase 2 items along with the Dulcolax to utilize the MFQ and the 2 RR’s. So, check out the sale items in the 7-Day flyer and know that you can disregard the limits and the q from the 7-Day flyer will not make a difference when counting the number of items to coupons. Does that make sense? FYI, a store manager has the right to stop you from buying more than the limit states on the 7-Day flyer q

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sandy, that is the best explanation of that I have ever read! Thanks for sharing!

    • Sandy

To answer your CVS question yes, you can use the Buy a cartridge get a free razor coupon and still get the $5 ECB. The ECB will print out at the bottom of your receipt and if you wanted to do another transaction as long as you are in line, just tear it off and use it. The cashiers are used to customers doing as such.

    • Kelly T

The coupon is actually for Gillette Fushion, not schick.

  20. Breanne

    It rolls in Kirksville, MO!

  21. DougieB

    Do the math correctly, please.
If you use the $4/1 Register Reward from the previous transaction, it COSTS you $5 not $1.
When you calculate your cost, you also have to count the opportunity cost, i.e. the cost of the lost opportunity to use the $4RR on a different purchase – at Jewel, for instance! This is still a great deal, as you make money, but you don’t “make” $6, you “make” $2 – less the tax you paid on the $7!
This kind of “math” is what gets women in trouble with their husbands.

    • Kelly T

That’s not correct, because after the second transaction, you have paid in $3 (plus tax) and still walk away with $7 in register rewards!!! That’s total out of pocket!! So technically, it’s a $4 money maker.

    • Nicole S

Wow, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. lol
Why are you here if you’re going to be snotty?

    • Jessica

DougieB, she didn’t do the math wrong. And there is NO need to be rude. I see your point that technically it’s only a $2 moneymaker (less tax) but that is still a lot of FREE items, and tax would be less than $2, so you still make money and get free stuff. And you wind up with more RR in the end to use wherever you (or your husband) want. I feel bad for you if you have to justify to your husband how you spend a $4 RR so that you don’t “get in trouble” with him.

      • Sarah

I think DougieB is one of the husbands he is talking about…. I wish his wife luck.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t think he’s going to be married for very long. 😉

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Walgreens ad says you have to buy $12 in Dove products to get the $4RR. And each product is $6. I don’t see how this is working for all of you???

    • Sandy

      There are 2 Dove deals.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

2 seperate Dove deals. Flip through there weekly as & you will see the shampoo listed for $4.00 with a $4 RR back making it FREE. Hope this helps! 😛

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh nevermind, just got to the end of the ad and saw it .

  24. Laura

SOme of the Dulcolax have hang tags on them for a free bottle water up to $2.00. Got 1 bottle that was $1.39 but the register took off the full $2.00 :). It was a huge moneymaker day for me! Had to go to 3 different Wags but spent $19.01 out of pocket and got back $36 in RR (I printed off 4 Dove shampoo coupons 2 weeks ago when I read about the upcoming deal) and I had (2) $4 off the dulcolax balance which I paid with my flex spending account. The dulcolax and 1/2 the shampoo is going to my very large Ronald McDonald house donation I am making over spring break. Now I can use my RR to buy some acutal groceries 🙂

  25. Hill

Hampton, VA rolls! I just got back from going to Pembroke and Armistead Wags!!

  26. Brenda

Idaho Falls, ID rolling 🙂 Woot!

  27. Jessica

The deal rolled here in Louisville, KY!!! Thanks!

  28. anonymous

Not rolling in utah tried provo and orem and is not rolling

  29. Baibeehgurl

    The deal rolled in fremont,ca

  30. traci

The rr rolled for me in NM! Yeah for free shampoo!

  31. Nichole

My Wags caught on and came out to stop my transaction at the register. The assistant Manager BOB ( yes that is his real name) said that I was stealing and was doing these transactions illegally… after a 30 min “talk” I got him to appologize. I will be filing a complant to Walgreens about how he treated me!

    • Sarah

I had a manager treat me the exact same way a few months ago. It’s terrible the bad reputation couponers get! You should for sure report him! That is horrible. You are obviously not stealing! It is just a mistake that Walgreens made that we are finding some more – no harm, no foul! 😉

    • Mrs. B

oh heck no! I would def complain!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Register Rewards you get from the product do NOT say that you can buy anything BUT the product you previously purchased. Therefore you are NOT in the wrong!!! You HAVE to report this manager! You shouldn’t be treated like this!!! Also try the cosmetic counter- they are much nicer in that department from my experience! You don’t ahve to worry about a line building as quickly behing you when you have coupons. 😛

  32. Sandy

    It’s rolling in Milwaukee, WI

  33. kelly plichta

    It is rolling in Michigan

  34. Cheryl

rolling in Central Coast, CA! yahooo!

  35. Sarah

Still rollin’ in Minneapolis, MN!! 🙂

  36. Andrea

I had a GREAT experience at Walgreens this morning. Actually I couldn’t sleep so I went at 4 am. The cashier I don’t like was the only one there and the manager. He came up while I was checking out and I thought OH NO! But he said he just wanted to watch. OK? It was great he was thrilled and asked me to teach him how to shop! The cashier I didn’t like (not real coupon friendly but she said it wasn’t me she just has one woman come in like I do but she is not organized and always a problem). In the end they were both thrilled. I gave them chocolate and walked out feeling on top of the world. I spent 23.15 OOP and walked out with 11RR and a cart full. Had to share!!

    • Nicole S

Very awesome Andrea. I wish all trips went that well for all of us! 🙂 I love having a good trip like that. My dh says couponing is my “drug”… I guess so… lol

    • Coupon Princess

      I hope he wasn’t talking about me :{
I was very organized today but somehow bought one thing out of order and held up the whole line. But I was polite and took my things to the other counter and waited for the crowd to die down ROFL!

  37. Jaime

Worked for me! Got 5 shampoo and 5 conditioners plus lots of much needed filler items! I LOVE to shop….for FREE 😉 Thanks for the tip!

  38. Sarah

Did anyone else get a cashier that was super pumped for the Shampoo/Conditioner deal? I thought he’d be really upset that I was doing 8 different transactions to buy one bottle each time. But he was like “WOW! So you’re getting all of these for the price of one!?”

I had a FABULOUS day at Walgreens. No mean cashiers or uppity managers getting my way! 🙂

I saved over $300 today and only spend $25 OOP. Still have $44 in RR left! WAHOOOOO!!!!! (Granted, I did shop for well over three hours today… but still!)

    Thank you so much, Collin!

    • Sophie

Maybe there was something in the water, because I had a great trip as well. She knew that the Dove RR was rolling, but she was like we just dont talk about that here and we let it go till corporate stops it! I feel like over the last two weeks Walgreens has done a 180!

  39. Janet

    Thanks Collin!

  40. Rebecca Emond

Working in MA. Just scored myself 20 bottles for $4.25 however I walked out with a $4.00 coupon- so really only $.25 out of pocket. YIPPY!!!! Thanks Collin.
    Rebecca E (MA)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

THAT IS THE WAY i FIGURE THE MATH AS WELL.

    • LIsa

Can’t you leave any for other customers?

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got 4 shampoos and 4 conditioners. So did my grandma. I might go back tonight and get more. I’ll get more tomorrow, too..if it still works tomorrow.

I don’t really like dove very much, though. Herbal essence is my favorite shampoo and conditioner…if any cares. I really like aussie 3 minute miracle, too. 🙂

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

USE THE $2 WATER TAG ON THE$2.99 12-24PKS OF WATER ON SALE THIS WEEK AND ONLY PAY .99 FOR 12-24 WATERS!!!
PLEASE,REMEMBER PEOPLE SHE IS HUMAN AND EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES. i LOVE HER BLOG.

  43. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Walgreens is expecting it! They’re stocked to the gills – the regular place, on the end-caps, and at the beauty counter! Check yours – I’m betting they’re the same way!

  44. IndyMom

NOT Rolling in Anderson, IN 🙁
Wasted my time today…. Just came home with 2 overly priced hair products….. Will try again tomorrow to roll it back and forth with another item.

Also, bought a newspaper today and got no Snuggle or Dove coupons (been picked through).. horrible shopping day… I’m so jealous for those getting the deals! LOL

    • Midwestern Morsels

I live in Indiana too and was soo sad there was no Snuggle coupons either. =(

  45. Tonya

I had a great Walgreens/RiteAid/Albertson’s experience today. I got about 15-17 i-motions, 2 Dove shampoos, 8 Reese’s PB cups, 6 bags of Halls, 7 boxes of cereal, 3 gallons of milk, 30 cans of corn, 4 boxes of pasta, 3 Lysol soap dispenser thingies, Loreal 360 face wash, Dulcolax, 8 piece chicken dinner, 3 easter cups and I only spent $30 OOP. I saved over $200!! Great day 🙂

    • Tonya

and and 2 packages of McCormicks food coloring too

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Wow! Sounds good! 😛 I always love those days!

  46. Laurie

I was afraid it wouldn’t roll, so I did my transaction a bit differently.
    Transaction #1 – (1) Dentek Floss $2.00
    (1) Dove Shampoo $4.00
    Used (1) $1/Dentek and (1) $1.50/Dove Hair care
Paid $3.50 and got back $6.00 RR

    Transaction #2 – (1) Dulcolax $10.00
    (2) fillers
Used (1) $4/Dulcolax Coupon and $6 RR from above
Paid just tax and got back $10.00

    Transaction #3 – (1) Simply Saline $7.00
    (1) Dove Conditioner $4.00
    (1) Dentek Floss $2.00
Used $1.50/Dove Hair Care Coupon and $1/Dentek coupon
    Used $10.00 RR from above

    • Laurie

      Woops…

Paid .$50 + tax and got back $13 RR

I was proud of myself since I’m still a newbie! Just thought I’d share.

Thanks so much, Collin, for all that you do and how much you save my family!!

    • Laurie

Oh, and on Transaction #2 I did pay the price for the fillers, less than $1 though 🙂

      • Kari

Can someone tell me what I filler does? Im so lost with that one 😀

        • Laurie

A filler is an inexpensive item that you need to purchase to be able to use all of your coupons and register rewards. I needed to have 3 items to use the Dulcolax coupons and two register rewards, so I picked up 2 Cadbury eggs which were $.39/piece. Hope that helps!

    • marcia

Good Job laurie! for anyone but especially a newbie! I’m relatively new too and always AIM to grow my RRs, not always doable but it can be done for sure! woohoo for wags coupons, collin and all of us who have so much fun shopping for free and getting paid to do it sometimes 😉

If it is not rolling for you then do this.

    Buy
    (1) simply saline $7
    get $7 RR

    Buy
    (1)Dove shampoo or Conditioner
    (1)Wallgreens multivitamin
    get $7 RR (3, and 4)

simply saline, shampoo and vitamins, etc etc etc
You can keep going until the store runs out!!
Give the vitamins to your church if you don’t need them!
