Yay! There’s a *HOT* new Rayovac coupon available! Just head on over to their Facebook page and click on the promotions tab to print a new coupon valid for $1 off one package of Rayovac Alkaline Batteries. Supposedly the small packs of Rayovac Alkaline Batteries are only $0.94 at my Walmart, so possibly FREE after the coupon!

Wish I could do this one! I never go to walmart for things and decided to saturday while getting my 2 month olds pictures done. I was going to use the sponge coupons and he wouldn’t let me use them b/c they were over the price of the sponge.

I had the same problem! I was told they cannot price adjust the coupon down to the price of the item. That it was a “new policy.” And that “people like me ruined it for everyone else.” Excuse me???? Who is getting hurt if they adjust a coupon down? The manufacturer reimburses the store for the cost of the item. I get the item for free. Everybody is happy!

I had a $1/1 coupon for Rayovac batteries back in February, and heard that they were in the dollar bins at Target (and were also around $1 at Walmart)… so I went to both stores, searching for the elusive $1 packs of batteries, and had no luck. I finally asked a manager about the cheap batteries and they said it’s seasonal. They only stock them [in my area] during Christmas time… which makes sense, I guess. I’m just sad because I need batteries and can’t seem to spend any money to buy them!

Seasoned couponers: what’s your stock-up price for batteries?

    • vlasta

I got the “cheap” batteries at Target AND I took 12 packs back, after opening 3 and none could even start my small camera(it said replace the batteries after I put these “cheap” ones in. I’m not talking big Nikkon camera. My DH said you buy cheap that’s what you get with batteries, I told him that is not true, half an hour later I had to bite my tongue, and took them back because they only belong in the trash bin not $1 ones.

I’m totally with you on this one. I bought the “cheapies” hoping they would be fine in my smoke alarm, because really how much energy can that thing use. It was good for less than one month. Only found it out because it decided to start chirping at about 2am! Bad idea, never again!!!

    • Jermaine

Hey I work at Walgreens and you can at least get the Duracell and Energizer on sale for 1.99-2.99 and with the dollar coupon it would cheaper. Is paying a dollar that hard love+shop?

      • love+shop

vlasta- interesting about the cheap batteries! i guess i’m not missing much since my store doesn’t have ’em!

jermaine- LOL it IS hard to spend $1 sometimes! but my problem is that I really have NO idea what a “good” price for batteries is (free is obviously a good price) since I don’t buy them very often.

Ive not seen this coupon, but the last one they had out was only for “alkaline” batteries in the blue packs. Those are not the 94 cent ones. The 94 cent ones in the red packs are not “alkaline” batteries. I know of individuals that the red pack worked, but that was not the correct batteries.

But again ive not seen this coupon, and it may be different.

These are on special at Ingles 5 for $5 this week again.

  5. DeDe Watson

Not only are these 5 for $5, they are the 4 packs and not 2 packs. I use them all of the time and they work well for me.

  6. Ann Dee

Has anyone seen the ALKALINE for a dollar or under? I’ve seen the regular kind for that. Wish the coupon was for the regular kind. I just LOVE free, what can I say?

  7. Sabrina

I just used mine at Walmart and they worked for the red packs that do not say Alkaline on them. They were priced at $.97 and she took the $1.00 off. I am located in Flint,MI

Where on walmarts FB does it say “promotions”???all mine says is wall ,info, Dragons, vidio, photos, events,>>

  9. Martha

Why when i Try to print it tells me i dont have the privilage ????

  10. nicholas Mark

Here we go…Apparently the Rayovac batteries at Walmart priced at 94 cents are in fact Zinc batteries, not alkaline. The Alkaline batteries run about 3-4 dollars a piece for an 8 pack. I hope this clears some things up.

    • lecoupon7

I saw this too. The coupon IS for Alkaline and the cheap battery 4-packs are for Zinc batteries. The cheapest Alkaline batteries I saw were also ~ $3-something.

I’ll take a peak in our Walmart this week. Free is the only price I’d pay for AA or AAA batteries. We use rechargeables in everything that uses AA or AAA batteries.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I created a separate account on facebook just for all these promos. I hated having “she’s become a fan of ..batteries, huggies, sour cream” hahaha..

  13. Ari R.

Well, I was finally denied usage at my local walmart for coupons. They told me the $1.00 coupon on the rayovac were not valid because they didn’t have the third bar code. I wipped out my coupon policy, and they said, well that was back in March, and the policy has changed. Does anyone know if there is a “New Policy” that states this?

  14. jodie

I tried to use it at walmart, it would not scan, the cashier was a crabby and said the Mgr. told her if internet coupons do not scan, then they are not valid. I printed it straight from the site, I don’t understand why it wouldn’t work?! Everything was right, I checked it.
