With regards to the Treseme deal, I do not think my Target will let me use both. I tried a similar transaction with Head and shoulders and they would not let me use both. Any suggestions on what to say to the cashier to get him/her to do this??
If I have other things im buying with coupons I make sure the b1g1 and the money off our not together. So I have the b1g1 for this, money off for this, pampers coupons and dish soap I will give b1g1, papmpers money off then dish soap or something like that. Its great for me because my stores scan in what ever order I give them the coupons.
They should take it. You’re buying one and getting one for free. Then, you’re getting $2 off the one you’re buying. That’s fair and square, no? I like the idea of mixing up the q’s.
I was just able to do it at my Target.
I got the Seventh Generation dish soap which was on sale for $2.69. Used the target coupon good for ANY Seventh Generation and the manufacture coupon good for ANY Seventh Generation product and got it for 69 cents. Mine has the spray for $2.49 but it says on the tag $2.69
The TRESemme stuff is sooo gross! It STINKS! I’d rather just wash my hair then have my hair smell like that!

I agree w/Leslie, the TRESemme stuff is gross. Don’t waste your $. Can you return that kin do thing to Target? I didn’t spend much on it but it’s just going to go to waste in my bathroom cabinet.
I was just at target and the rudest manager said I couldn’t use the $2 coupon with the bogo coupon. ..even though the register accepted both coupons no beeping. She voided them out and told me no.
Wow, that’s a bummer! How rude. I just did the deal at my Target with no problem.
I finally got around to calling corporate and filed a complaint against that rude manager. Also, I got the correct corporate # to call while in the store the next time a confusion like that happens, because it turns out, that I was totally in the right, and since they scanned with no issues, then they were supposed to honor my transaction. I did ask if they had anything on print regarding the bogo deals and using another coupon, she said she didn’t, but I can use them.
My target let me use both coupons for the TRESemme and I’m kind of excited to try it out on my son who has cerebral palsy and it’s not always convenient to do a full shower (especially while travelling). This is also my first trip out using the coupons and I’m so excited! Thanks~
My kids have been dragging their feet about washing their hair lately, so this could be a nice spritz in a pinch before school. This would also be great for camping. . . . or anytime you are without water. I bought the product for my kids mostly.
thanks!..i will be going tomorrow to get the seventh generation deal…ive been wanting to try more of their products, just didnt want to pay so much for them..plus if the manager that now hates me is there, i will be happy to be getting another item for close to free.

I did this deal tonight at Target. There was no problem with the B1G1 and using the $2 coupon. However, my cashier was new and had to call the manager over because she was messing up all my coupons. It was taking forever and every time something would beep, the manager would say it wasn’t the right product. I was also doing the Scrubbing Bubbles deal and she had an issue with the “Buy toilet gel and get shower kit free”. It wouldn’t give her the option of making the kit free. However, I didn’t know it but she had taken my $5.00 off Scrubbing Bubble Power Sprayer coupon off the shower product. She finally fixed it by giving me a totally unrelated but same priced item free. I tell you, I have never had any coupon problems at Target, but this was a nightmare! Managers make things up when they can’t figure something out. She also scanned a giftcard twice for my Scrubbing Bubbles Deal, so I actually PAID for a gift card. I will be doing more deals, so I’ll just take the giftcard back in, but I was not prepared for this whole ordeal. It’s quite embarrassing and made me feel like I was trying to steal when it all could have been a simple transaction. I came home and made sure that everything was taken off correctly. In the end, I did make out like a bandit, but it wasn’t easy.
that happened to me too (an unrelated item was credited as free). it was the up & up trash bags for $2.74 (vs. the $3.99 for the tresemme). I noticed the receipt while in the store, but believe me, w/ 5 kids (10 & under) running around, I wasn’t going back to get it fixed. it was still a good deal. first time I had a coupon prob. at target though.
I did this deal tonight–got 4 shampoos and 4 samples, plus 4 pillows, and the Armor All wheel protector and Wipes. I oaid OOP 17.50 and got retail about $40 worth of products. I also will submit for a $8.00 rebate from Armor All!
There is also a rebate form from Seventh Generation that unfort isnt available online anymore but if you happened to save it before it got taken off the site… its buy 3 products get a $5 rebate so spend just under $2 on 3 and get $5 back 🙂

My Target had their UP and UP brand of trash bags on clearance for $2.74 tonight. I got the 80 count with handle ties. They also had the 45 count with drawstring for the same price. The small Hagen Daz ice cream was on clearance for $1.02 each and I had a coupon for $1.00/3, so a great deal!

Oh gracious me! I just had a terrible experience at Target trying to purchase TRESemme! They refused to use both coupons in a not so nice way. I hate when that happens.
I went to Target tonight with all my coupons in hand. On the items that would become free, the manager on duty refused to do it for me. I explained their coupon policy as I understood it from the website and asked him to reduce the coupon amount by $0.03 each so it would be the same as the price as the items and he refused. He said their policy was not to accept coupons that are greater than the merchandise price. So I went home and printed out the Target coupon policy (I know…I should have had it with me) and took it back to the store and showed it to him. He still refused, even when I showed it to him. Unbelievable!!! All he would do is give me a comment card.
