UPDATE: Apparently, the $5 gift card that you were supposed to receive when you buy 2 packs of diapers is actually being deducted from your receipt; in other words, the Fisher Price Night & Day Diapers are ringing up at $5.99 minus a $2.50 discount (i.e. half the $5 gift card) so the final cost is $3.49 per pack. Still an awesome deal…just not quite as awesome as a $1 per pack. :(

Wow! Babies R Us is offering up a smokin’ HOT deal! Currently, when you buy 2 packages of Fisher Price Overnight Diapers, you’ll score a FREE $5 Babies R Us gift card! Well, this deal gets even sweeter because the Fisher Price Overnight diapers are actually ringing up at ONLY $3.49, so after you take into account the $5 gift card, you’re really ONLY spending $1 for each package! I LOVE this deal because NO coupons are even needed to score it!

(Thanks so much, Andrea!)

  • Man! Where were these deals when my not so “little one” was in diapers! We spent a fortune on Diapers….of course that was “Pre-Couponing” days!

  • Elizabeth says:

This ALMOST makes me wish that my little man isn’t potty training…. ALMOST ;)

  • Vanessa says:

Hey ladies. If your like me and dont have a Babies R Us nearby and DO have a Toys R US nearby, its worth a quick call to check if the prices are the same. My husband is a manager at our local TRU and he says that they usually have the same prices (I’m in CA). I had him check the prices on the diapers for me and they are ringing up the same. It may not apply to all stores but totally worth a shot. He was in shock when he scanned them.

  • Anonymous says:

hmm.. so does it roll? Can you use it on your next set of diapers? If so that would be HOT!!!

    • Amanda C. says:

I have never verified if it was true or not, but whenever I have done any kind of a gift card deal at TRU or BRU, the cashier has always handed me the giftcard and told me that it will be active in 6-8 hours. I think they do this to prevent rolling…but like I said, I never actually checked.

  • Jennifer says:

I’ve recently done a few gift card deals at BRU and I believe it shows them as $3.49 each because they add the $5 from the gift card to your bill then subtract it out again (the two $2.50 deductions) making it even. So you are actually paying $5.99 each and getting the $5 gift card. Was the bill $11.98 and you were given the $5 gift card or was the bill $6.98 and you were given the $5 gift card? Sorry, just want to double check :)

    • Diana says:

That was what it looks like to me too… I was wondering about the exact same thing.

    • hannah says:

You have me totally confused! Haha, are you trying to ask if they just went ahead and applied the gift card to her total and did NOT give her a giftcard? Or that they gave her the giftcard to her total and still gave her the giftcard to take with her after her transaction?

      • Stephanie A. says:

the way it works through the computer system.. is they deduct a certain amt off of the item they are giving a gift cert for($2.50 per pkg of diapers).. notice it says $5.99 -$2.50 gc promo. that is the deduction… then add it up again at the end and activate a gift card for it.. so it actually looks like your paying for a gift cert but your not.

    • AndreaR1983 says:

I checked my receipt. They did not at $5 later on in the transaction and I got the gift card. I’ve looked it up and down 10 times and it’s not there. No random $5 charge.

WAHOO…my thrifty sister found this!! Thanks sister!! Great find!!

  • Carol says:

Jennifer, I am fairly certain you are correct. I noticed this with my $5.00 off a $20.00 Method purchase the other day at BRU. They divide the $5.00 up between the items, so the diapers will actually be $11.98 not $6.98.

  • Brenda z says:

yeah- it def appears that the price is already taken off- but that’s awesome if the deal actually works! also, apparently there are coupons for these diapers available at BRU or TRU.

  • Cheryl says:

Regular price in Los angeles but they do offer the gift card. Wasted trip for me.

  • Stephanie A. says:

just wanted to let ya know that the previous posters are right.. i work at a TRU and the 2.50 off is for the gc. the subtract the amt of the gc off each item then add it back on on the bottom.. its wicked confusing but its how they do it

  • Randi says:

would be even sweeter if we could find a coupon to go with the deal!!

  • Stephanie says:

Stephanie A. is correct. I just rushed out and purchased these (just around the corner from my house) and they do deduct the gift card promotion off the line item just incase you try to return it, you are getting the gift card value deducted. Still a great deal, though! Especially since I just got my reward $’s coupon. :)

  • Alyssa says:

I’m down to my last 2 overnight diapers & am heading to BRU tomorrow…thanks for the heads-up :)

Any clarification on rolling the gift card? I know some stores say a promo gift card isn’t valid for a few hours after processing. ????

    • Sarah B says:

I think you should be able to roll this deal. I did a buy two cases of pampers deal to get a gift card and used the gift card to buy two more cases and still got another gift card – you may have to wait some time (I think it was like 8 hrs) for the gift card to be activated

  • misti marlatt says:

so you are saying you get them at $3.49 each but no gift card?

  • trsvy says:

I dont think they are $1.00 a pack.

  • [...] Thanks Hip2Save! var a2a_config = a2a_config || {}; a2a_config.linkname="Babies R Us: $1 for Fisher Price [...]

  • L says:

These diapers are not $1.00 per pack—they are $3.49 per pack after gift card. I just wasted way too much time driving around to figure that out!
It’s really not that great of a deal since there are only 18 diapers at most in the overnight packs.

  • Anon says:

No go on diaper deal–but I had a double purpose in mind when I headed to check on diaper deal at BRU and TRU. Bought 2 Method laundry soaps and one Method baby wipes on clearance = $20 dollars – $6 off TRU coupon for laundry soap – 2 $2 Method laundry coupons- $5 dollars off when you buy $20 worth of Method products – $2 GC leftover from Hasbro game deals = $3.99. Worth the trip anyway plus I figure this one using my teachings from HTS!

    • Anon says:

I checked the price before I considered purchasing the diapers and they were ringing up at $5.99 plus the GC deal sign said only for greater than 20 I think. The night time diapers did not seem to fall into that category. That is why I passed.

  • Corina says:

I just went to TRU yesterday to buy the Method laundry detergent deal. I actually went to C.S. to see if I got all my discounts(which I did). I used one BRU/TRU $3 off any detergent Q( $3 taken off for each detergent bottle purchased), two $2/1 MQ (off their web site) and they offered an in store promotion of $20 or more purchased of Method products get $5 deducted. So, I bought hand soap to have a purchase total of $20.97. The register deducted $2.03 and $2.02 from each detergent & $.95 for the hand soap instead of a full $5. But I got everything for $5.97 + tax. C.S. says deductions are taken off per item, so when they are returned you get the lowest price.

  • Breanna says:

In MO you pay $5.99 per pack which comes to a little over $12 for two packages of the diapers then get back a $5 gc which the registers won’t allow you to use for 6 hours. I thought I could roll the deal but it wouldn’t work when I tried it.

  • char says:

This deal didn’t work in my Portland, Oregon area store. You only got the gift card if the pkg was a minimum count of 23. The $5.99 night time diapers were only 18 count. wa wa.

  • Casey Hurst says:

it breaks down to be $.19 per diaper. that is not a good deal for the size 4 in the picture. Even Huggies puts more than 18 diapers in a pack.

  • Mary says:

Wow that’s expensive for just 18 diapers! I’m going to have to pass on this one :)

  • Hayley Edick says:

In California.. they are 9.99 a pack!!! No deal here=( Not even the sale…hmmm.. wonder why?
