Was not allowed to use a competitor’s coupon either, even though I told them I had done it before with no problem. As stated b4, the price was just adjusted down. So per Christina’s helpful note, I also emailed Staples and wrote them a nice, but rather pointed email giving them the chance to make it right. We’ll see. I was very upset after I left there today because I frequent Staples a lot! And I do believe in giving the company a chance to make it right-we’ll see if they want to.
They did come through!
I went and did this today, it worked like a charm, I asked first and they said they accept this coupon. I have no idea why I did this because before my run today I already have 20 reams. I print coupons but I also print on the back and the half sheet, so at this rate I will be donating to my grandsons teacher or our church. Who can resist 50¢ EACH reams of paper, not I.
Exactly! I do the same thing too to conserve the paper usage. Why IDK since I too got a ton from other deals from here. LOL!!!!!!
Well, I went today armed for battle. Printed off the email that one member had here from Corp. just in case. Good thing too, cuz, the manager who helped me was like….well uuumn. and then I said well Corp. says you do and here is proof! BAM!! cant say sh@# now! ha, ha.
Went there w/ 2 q.s in hand since I was going to get this deal and use it on a micro-cut shredder that was on sale too. Well he read the tiny small print and said I can only use one per person per household as oppose to one per transaction. -Which I was ready to seperate order anyways!
I signed up for the Staples Rebates 1st thing and then…..
I bought anohther $30 shredder early this year or so when they had in marked down to only $9.99 and bought a warranty on it too. Was told the warranty was transferable if I upgraded. Today the jerk tells me nope, not after 14days. Told em I was not told that when I bought it and that was one reason I got it. Well, this shredder was not in stock at time of purchase and had to be shipped in from another store back then. I didnt have receipt and was told the pack. slip still attached would be enough. Well, I bought this who knows when (more than a few months ago!) and had it sitting here at the house. The other day I finally open it and discover the basket part was cracked/broke.
Sooo I took it back today and was able to exhcange it, although that too is max 14 days or some crap and he told me he could only give me $21.50 towards this more exp. one I was getting. Mouth shut, since he screwed me outta the transferable warranty, I said well, fine I guess that will work since I dont have my receipt. Lost out on the warranty part, but all said and done, got to use this $10 q on this sale priced shredder for a awesome price!!

Oh and I guess like July 7th or so, Staples is changing their amt. you get back on ink cartridges on this Staples Rewards program. Right now you get $3, its going down to $2 per cartridge. Good thing I got 3 to go right now. Now I just got to go back before then and get $9 in credit or whatever.
AND this OD coupon is good till 6/19/10!! So maybe we can use it on other deals that might be coming up?? Hmmmn.

We did this deal back in early June. Now it is mid-September and we STILL have not gotten the rebate… Does anyone think we will actually still get it?
I went to Staples today and they had none of these rebates. Kind of frustrating! Just a $3 rebate on one ream of paper. Is this just a local thing?
