I never qualify after a few questions. 🙁

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the invite, but a few questions into it, my profile didn’t match what they were looking for…bummer!

  3. Esther

I didn’t get that invite. Darn. I also usually don’t qualify after a few questions, but I keep on trying.

  4. Karen Clark

I too got the invite to take it, but did not qualify after just a few questions. My guess is with an amt like that, not many will qualify

I got it too, but after about 3 questions it said I didn’t qualify. I rarely even waste my time doing the surveys that are 12000 or 15000 points because I have never qualified for one. I’ve even had them end after they asked if my name was _____ ______!!!

I signed up for Toluna, but whenever they send a request for doing a survey, the link doesn’t let me in. It asks if I am who I am, I click “yes”, and it doesn’t do anything.

it does not work with google chrome web browser

I can’t even get signed up to the website! I thought I did last time the offer was posted, but apparently it didn’t take. So I tried to sign up again today, and I keep getting an error code to send to the help desk. I emailed them about it, so hopefully I can get going soon!

Toluna surveys are long and tedious and don’t pay well. Lots of time wasted just to qualify.

  9. Rachel

    Didn’t qualify after 3 questions.

  10. Renee B

I got it but did not qualify either. It seems like most of their surveys I am not qualifying for lately. I have filled out all the screeners too.

  11. Melinda P

    Didn’t qualify, oh well!

  12. Stephanie

60,000 points is $20 with Toluna. I haven’t seen a survey equal to/over that amount. That’s a big payout. Sometimes you get a DNQ just because they have gotten enough responses already.

  13. Nicole

    Didn’t qualify 🙁

  14. Amy

Nope, I didn’t get that invite either… but your post prompted me to go into my account and see what other surveys might be lurking. There was one that was only a sweepstakes entry which made me think “nuh uh” but I did it anyway… it was a pre-qualifier for a 90,000 point focus group. Who knows if I’ll be selected, but I didn’t get any immediate “sorry”.

This does not pertain to the subject, but I am a Toluna member. I’ve been a member for a few months. I had to do a recovery on my laptop about 5 weeks ago and I have not been able to log in at all. I went through all the procedures they told me too and still cannot log in. Can someone please help me?

I didn’t even get offered that survey. I just looked and I have done 19 surveys for them in the last 30 days and only one of them was for points (1,200). The only way I can seem to earn points from Toluna is to do the ‘sponsored polls’ on the home page but if I get accepted to do the surveys there they always seem to be for zero points/sweepstakes entry only. I got through to what must have been the last questions on a survey once (I was 35 minutes into a “25 minute” survey) and they said “thank you …we have all the responses we need from your group” and they DQ’d me after they got all my information they needed. They are not a favorite at all and their surveys are poorly written and long for the small if any payout. I haven’t requested a payout so I don’t know how quick or reliable they are there. It is going to take me a while to get there anyway.

This still makes me laugh—: on one of their screeners instead of asking my age it said:
“How many springs have passed since you were born?” 🙂

I can’t say enough good things about Pinecone Research. And Ispos i-Say. Valued Opinions and Lightspeed are pretty good too. Surveyhead has a lot of problems but I seem to get more opportunities there than some. I guess it all depends on your demographics how well you do with any particular place.

Valued Opinions–stay away. Some surveys ask A LOT of questions before you get the “sorry, you didn’t qualify for this survey” message. Also, now that my credit balance is $10.50, I see the balance to claim a reward has been raised from $10 to $20!!! Dishonest and a waste of all that time. grrr.

I don’t like Toluna. I think they are shady. They invite you to take a survey, offer you an enormous amount of points to take it.. allow you to get 1/4 to 3/4 done and say ” You aren’t qualified” which is a total bummer since you just spent 15 minutes on it. I prefer to just stick with Pinecone Research. No hassle, no fuss.

  18. kandemom3

To qualify for that survey you had to be accessing it from your work computer.

  19. Tara

I qualified for the survey, but they wanted me to download a program to receive the points. I am SOOOO NOT comfortable with that. Seems shady!

  20. cindy character

not worth the time for sure

  21. Tanya N

Yay, I qualified for the $26 survey. I get a lot of high points surveys, at least 3-4 per month and I usually qualify. I love taking surveys and I’ve been a member of Toluna for over 5 years and I think they are not a bad survey company. But I usually ignore survey invites that have a small incentive and take a long time to complete.
