Is it wrong to say I despise taylor swift? she started out okay as a country musician, then out of nowhere developed a southern accent even though she is from a major city, or suburb close to philadelphia. THEN she starts to hang around celebrities who are notorious for sleeping around (john mayer) and other celebrities each week, IE: jake gylenhaal, taylor lautner…granted the girl is what, 17 and is allowed to date, but she really is turning into a floozy lately. And I dont feel she is an appropriate role model for my kids to look up to anymore….i also wonder..what does she look like without makeup..hmmm
wow – jealous much? She’s a 20 year old ADULT. People in their 20’s do date. What does it matter what she looks like without makeup? What do you look like without makeup? Are your kids only allowed to listen to music from girls who are pretty without makeup?
Wow! She is 20 years old, so therefore I would think she is old enough to date. She is a MUCH better role model to my girls than people like Britney Spears or Miley Cyrus. We love her!
I am going to say, yes it is wrong that you don’t like Taylor Swift. By the way, what accent are you talking about. I have never heard her talk with an accent. Oh, and Taylor Lautner sleeps with lots of women??? Where did you hear that? Get your facts straight. She is a good “kid” and I love it that my daughter listens to her. She really is a great role model.
She lived here in TN since she was 11! And us TN girls tend to have a strong southern accent!!

I just want to say no one is supposed to be looking to hollywood for role models. You the parent are supposed to be role models for your kids, not these celebrities. I hate when people say that, not everything is marketed toward kids and Taylor is an ADULT she can do what she wants, she doesnt just not hang out with guys just because of what she thinks parents will do.
I agree 110%- no one should look to Hollywood for role models. Parents should be the #1 role model. I, as a parent, would be ignorant if I thought it never happened. The fact is, kids do look at hollywood stars as role models. I prefer Taylor Swift, over Britney, Lindsey Lohan, or Miley Cyrus!
Are you mad that Keith Urban sings with a country twang too? It’s a style of music. Opera singers use a different diction than I’m sure they speak with, are you mad at them? Also, how is it wrong for a 20-year-old to date a few different people over the span of a couple years (not weeks)? They happen to be celebrities, because they’re her peers now. Get over it and put on your Miley Cyrus, now there’s a role model.
