TOo funny!!! When I first bought these, I ate 2 in one day. I had to cancel my plans with my gf’s because it was sooooooooo bad & I was in the bathroom all night. Note to others: Do NOT, repeat NOT eat 2 in one day!!!

I was propelling myself to town and back, leaving a trail of gaggers down the grocery aisles, and my husband was about to put me in a bubble, so I started looking at what I changed in my diet~I scored tons of boxes of Kashi GoLean Crunch cheap w/coupons…so I googled “kashi farts” and discovered IT WASN’T JUST ME!! The Kashi Crunch cereals (not the reg. ones) have chicory root added for fiber, and your body will never get used to it-its not “gas from introducing fiber into your diet”, its just what that stuff will do to your body. Fiber One bars have this too, so I’d assume these do as well.
I just celebrated my 30th day of Gas and Pain Free. So did my family.
I eat fiber-rich products like these and Kashi cereals and bars all the time and have never had trouble with gas. Maybe I just have a tough system- who knows. Your story made me laugh! I’m glad you are gas-free now 🙂

That’s no true. These bars have fiber so they are meant to help aid your digestion. Not everyone gets bad gas. I never do but they help regulate my digestion which why you would buy a product with fiber. If you do not need help in that area then don’t buy it.
This is sooo funny! When I left my comment above, I was going to say that they made me very gassy. I wasn’t going to mention the stinky part, but you are absolutely right 🙂 I have a box of these and I just checked the ingredients, and chicory root fiber is the first ingredient, which means there’s a lot of that in these bars. I haven’t had them for a couple of week. I just make sure I have an apple and 2 prunes a day, and I’m fine. Boy, the things we discuss here! I wonder what Collin is thinking!
I won’t go in to detail but I also had some digestive issues with these bars. Taste good but I discovered that they are not for me. I still have boxes from a great buy a few months ago. I found myself avoiding them and passed up any further deals on them. Again, taste great, convienent but the side effects do not work well on my GI tract.
We’ve nicknamed these the “fart bars”. The cereal does the same thing and I ended up selling them all at my last garage sale because we just couldn’t eat it and go throughout the day without passing gas all day. :0

I love love these bars but there are no more campaigns. Sucks because these are the bars I always buy for $2.50.

These have hydrogenated oil so they are on my bad list. Just buy the Fiber One ones because they don’t have hydrogenated oil. I hate it when companies try to act like a product is healthy and then put in unhealthy junk like hydrogenated oil. Stupid Kellogs!
