  • amanda says:

I could only print one ‘Use 4 $1/1 coupons found on Facebook here’ from facebook.

  • elizabeth lundy says:

couldn’t even print out one of them. BOO!

  • Stacey says:

I did this deal this morning and wanted everyone to watch the pretzel m&m’s . They ring up $3.49 per bag but do still print out the $5 rr. I had the manager do a price adjustment since in the ad it does not specify which m&ms are part of the deal.

    • DEREK says:

Ugh, me too! I did this early this morning and got one pretzel bag and three different ones–the cashier told me it wasn’t part of the deal and that’s why it cost 3.49, and I showed him that it indeed was within the deal limitations. He basically threw his hands up in the air. The manager ended up just having him scan another bag twice–not the best approach, but you’d think they could do a price adjustment or something, right? At least a $5 RR came out!

    • Laurie says:

I attempted to buy the pretzel M&Ms this morning. I had two bags of Pretzel M&Ms and two of just regular chocolate. I noticed the pretzel M&Ms did not ring up at sale price so I asked. I was told they were not included in the M&M sale! UGH! Manager was standing there and agreed. I got nervous the $5 RR wouldn’t print out if I bought them at $3.50/per bag and since I knew I could not use my pretzel M&M coupons…I gave up! Kinda messed up my Walgreens shopping experience today as I was counting on the $5 RR to buy other items in a separate transaction. Usually have a good experience at Walgreens!

    • Mary says:

I actually did end up getting the holiday pretzel m&ms and they did ring up at the $2.49 each price, making them 4/$10 and I did get the $5 RR.

  • Anonymous says:

How do you pull 4 of these q’s if you have a FB acct.? You cant and are back to the 2 limit.
    Hmmmn?

  • Anonymous says:

Heres another q, now how do you take off all these FB things? Getting sick of all the post by these companies! lol

  • whitney1620 says:

I got 2 coupons, I will have my dh print some off at work :)

  • megan says:

off topic a bit but has anyone had success getting the sinex( for $3 overage) in the nyquil deal?

    • Anonymous says:

Nope, my Wags pulled all of the Sinex products off the shelf along with the shelf tags and I’m positive they won’t be back until after the $4.00 coupon has expired.

  • Stacey says:

The sinex nyquil in the boxes does work for the $3 overage. The sinex spray is regular price.

  • Sue says:

I did this m&m deal and the PRETZEL Holiday m&m’s ring up $3.49 (not $2.50) so don’t do the Holiday Pretzel, do the regular pretzel (same size). Just an FYI.

  • Mitch says:

Darn, i already printed my limit!
I would love 25 cent big bags of M&M’s!
Maybe I will try my sons 12 yr old computer!

  • megan says:

so you purchased the regular pretzel mm and they were 2.50 and gave $5 RR?

    • Sue says:

Yes, the HOLIDAY PRETZEL m&m’s are ringing up $3.49 (instead of $2.50), but do give you the RR. But if you get the Holiday pretzel kind you are paying an additional $1 per bag! If you want the Pretzel M&M’s don’t do the holiday packaging, do the regular everyday blue package which will ring up $2.50 and give you the RR deal.

  • Valarie says:

Does anyone else have to deal with the few locations nationwide where Walgreen’s has clipless coupons and you have to scan a card to get the deals? I recently moved to Kansas City and apparently they are using the Walgreen’s here as an area to test out the clipless coupons. I don’t like it because you don’t get as many RR’s. Instead you get extra rewards points for buying certain items. For instance, I was all excited about the $7 in RR’s with the Olay face cleansers, yet in my ad it has “Get 10x points” instead of anything about RR’s. Anyone else dealing with this?

  • Anonymous says:

My Wags does not have these 2/$10 and no RR prints for these. All other MM’s are on sale and can get RR but not the pretzel ones.

  • I did the deal this morning and they were marked 4/$10 with a $5 RR, but they rang up at $3.49. My cashier called the manager and the manager went in the back and updated the price in their system while I was standing there! I was very impressed with her willingness to help. I ended up paying only $0.54 after I used a bunch of RRs and I got $10 back in RR! Great transaction! :D

  • Robin says:

Wish this was good on peanut m&ms too

To clean up your “likes and interests” on facebook: go to profile, info, likes/interest – edit, show other pages, then hit “undo” on the ones you want to delete. I was able to print 2 coupons per computer on one facebook page. Went to Wags, price rang up correctly, coupons were used, all was well. Good luck to everyone, this is a great deal! Thanks Collin.

  • Amanda says:

Fooey! My friendly cashier was chatting to me and I didn’t realize that they rang up $3.49 until I left the store. I still got the $5 RR. I went back in, and the cashier tried to help, as the “marked” pretzels with yellow hang tags denoting price and RR deal only were on regular, peanut, dark, and mint (all in holiday bags). We discovered the cherry cordials were pictured in the ad, as we previously thought it was just the “normal” M&M’s… so we thought pretzel ones would too. There was a line, and normally I never had problems, so I just threw the towel in and said win some lose some, but the cashier did tell me I can call corporate and was friendly as she always is.

Should I call corporate to see if they can mail RR (as I have heard that is how they can adjust for price issues) or return them and buy regular packaging? My issue with returning would be because I used four qty $1 off coupons and a $5 RR from previous deal to pay… :/

  • Debbie says:

It’s $4, worth a phone call to corporate to see what they can do. My pretzel M&M’s rang up at $2.50. Good luck!

    • Amanda says:

Thanks! I sent them an e-mail, hoping they’ll call me, as it stated they would Busy work week, but I’m grabbing hold of that $4… LOL!

  • jcc253 says:

My pretzel M&Ms also rang up at $3.49 while the other 2 (penut, milk choc.) rang up at $2.49. All had a tag of $3.49. I asked the clerk when I brought all 4 up to the counter if this was the correct price for these 4/$10) she said yes but still rang it up wrong. I left the store not realizing it until later and went back and the mgr. adjusted the price and said that corporate must have missed this one.

  • Craig says:

OMG! I had my worst and best night at Wg’s tonight. I too had the problem with these ringing up as $3.49 each. I didnt realize it till after I got my change. I was like, wait, I owed you how much?! I had to go get the yellow tag that clearly marked them at 4/10$ and note about the $5 RR. She was trying to tell me they were that price AFTER the $5rr was taken into acct. And said thats how it works. WRONG! I said it clearly does not state that here and she got a manager over to take over. He checked the ad too and did a price adj. and gave me the credit due on my next order I had. Then when it came to the Hormel q’s he asked me if I copied them and was telling me they had to be in color. I told him no to both and never heard this about the color ordeal. He said, yeah thats so peps’ cant copy them. I think what set that off was the fact the serial numbers were the same? I guess? IDK. I was just pissed that first the stupid first cashier was trying to tell me something that was clearly stated! was wrong and I was in the wrong and then this, being accused of photo-coping. I follow the rules! Im soo fumed! Im about to call corporate! I hope the receipts have their names on them!. I have been going there for a year+ with no issues and then all hell breaks loose. I even asked him, hmmn, is this “color” thing stated in your WG’s q policy? He said that is how it was since he started 5 years ago. I told em, well I never print in color and have been using them that way for the past 1+ and this is the first I heard of such (crap! lol). Well, to top it all off, I did get it adjusted down and walked away w/ even $5 back in cash due to our price rang up wrong law I guess. Soo that is cool, I made $$ but, Im furious about the fact I was in the right on this 4/10$ BEFORE $5RR and being accused of photocoping!! Uuugh. sorry had to vent. About ready to give up on Wgs and go all out w/ CVS and RA since its soo much easier and nicer folks!

  • Cindy G says:

I do not like the new pretzel m & ms, Even at .25 for the big bag, they can keep them.

    • Linda says:

I didn’t like them either, but I’ll give them away. $.25 a bag is a steal.

    • Roger says:

Don’t you get less chocolate with this variety? It seems there’s a round piece of pretzel, surrounded by a little bit of chocolate, then the candy shell. It’s probably cheaper, too, for them, to produce these, because of less chocolate.

      • debbie says:

I agree that the pretzel ones have very little chocolate – i don’t care for them either. So i tried this deal with peanut, peanut butter, and almond M&Ms using the FB coupons. And guess what- they didn’t even beep. The RR printed right out.

  • [...] Thanks, Hip2Save! [...]

  • Me says:

So do the cashiers not read the coupons that say limit one coupon per person? How is that you all are using 4 at one time when the coupon states that?

  • Donna says:

I can’t get my coupons to print. I don’t know what the problem is. :(

  • Amanda says:

My call to corporate wasn’t successful. They weren’t the brightest bulbs…reminds me of Collin’s phonecalls regarding coupon policies! LOL! Anyone know if I can exchange my 4 $3.49 holiday bags of pretzel M&Ms for $2.49 ones if I used 4 $1 q’s and paid for with $5 RR from previous deal??? Or will that be tomfoolery?

  • I am so excited for Thanksgiving day and Black Friday at Walgreens. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the Jingle Cash can be used like the RR. They are suppose 2. Those of us that have so much trouble using coupons at our Walgreens will walk away with 19 free goodies.

  • Laurie says:

Wow! I have gone to great lengths this week to try to score myself some Pretzel M&Ms. I finally ended up going to CVS. When I got to the register the Pretzel M&Ms rang up 5.49! Apparently it was a larger package. I had my screaming baby with me, paid and left. I will be taking them back to the store for a refund this evening.

  • Stacy says:

I just did the deal 2x today; once w/4 pretzel & once w/ 2plain & 2peanut (ALL holiday). My pretzels rang up for $2.50 & the others $2.49 (didn’t fuss over the $0.01 difference!). Both transactions produced $5RR. Strange that there are so many differences in price across the nation!!

  • Kristin says:

Amanda, it depends on management in my experience. Typically I don’t have problems exchanging things at Walgreens or even returning them but they know me well since I get all my (tons of) meds there and shop often. If the M&Ms were all you bought and you used coupons and RRs, they may adjust your costs and you may not get the fulL $$. If you’re simply exchanging them, try doing it w/o a receipt and then buy something to eat up the excess $$. For instance if the candy you return was $5 adn the candy you buy is $3, get something that costs $2 so you can do an even exchange. Each store is different in the way they do things. I exchanged some eye drops once, and the cost of the ones i returned was much less than the ones I bought but i used a coupon and RR so it came out even. In my experience, the easier you make it on them the better. Most of them don’t use coupons and aren’t “hip” to how they work which makes it frustrating. None of this may make any sense, as I can get wordy and just rattle on. sorry!
