I just got an email from reader, Daphnie, regarding an awesome clearance deal she was able to score at Target! She found the Baby Alive Simple Care For Me dolls on clearance for just $4.77. Plus, she was able to use the $5/1 coupon found here (will have to be adjusted down) to get a doll for FREE!

If you find this doll at your local Target and it’s not marked, make sure to do a price check and see if it rings up for less. Also, if you’re able to score this deal, make sure to come back and let us know what store location you found the doll at.

(Thanks, Daphnie!)

The African American was half off in Green Bay WI ($12.50) The Caucasion doll was full price. Bummer!!! I was hoping to score this doll for free. However, I did score some great things in the Christmas section…. 75% off today.

    • Joyce Henry

      Same in Illinois

      • Melinda

Where in Illinois? I found both at twoo different stores in the Chicagoland area still regular price?

  2. heather

Regular price here in port arthur, tx

  3. DEB H

If you still have your wonka coupons for $1 off wonka candy -there are on clearance and you can score them for free. I did today some were .74 and some were .99. I have too much candy but it was free. lol. and they had lots in the jacksonville nc store.

  4. Amye

Heading to Target after nap! Hoping they have the African American one on clearance, because it is so hard to find african american dolls! my son’s african american BFF will LOVE this!

    • Sweet

At my store in Southern Utah they had the African American doll for $6.22 on clearance, so only $1.22 after coupon! What a great deal! Good luck! The Caucasion doll was regular price still at $24.

  5. Rachel

In Sacramento, CA they were full price.

  6. Lindsay

My store had a few left for $4.77 and the coupon didn’t even beep. They were in a different spot than the non-clearance white dolls. I just happened to see someone carrying one around with a clearance tag and asked where she got it. I think I will save it for my daughter’s 3rd birthday since she just got a new doll for xmas.

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

my store had a ton of them….they were marked clearance but the tags said full price so i price checked them and sure enough 4.88!! i didn’t bring the coupon with me as i was in a hurry to get out the door but i bought two and will take them back and rebuy with the coupons! two free dolls – i will either give them to my daughter and niece or donate them. tbd! and yes they are only the african american ones but seriously who cares???

    • Moya

where do i find the coupon with a code?

  8. Lisa

Does anyone have the UPC code for either color. It would be most helpful since they have several types of this doll. Thanks

  9. Erin

So, I went to my local Target, and it was the same as a lot of you are saying: Full price for white dolls and clearance for black dolls.
HOWEVER… there was a lady there at the same time as me… and I just feel the need to address this: She was rude. She had coupons in her hand, and had obviously heard about the possibility of a free/cheap doll. She was shopping with a child and (I assume) her mother. She was barking orders at her mother to go and scan every single doll she could find… and while I was also trying to look at the dolls, she would throw the dolls that weren’t on sale anywhere on the shelves. At one point, she threw one right in front of where I was looking. And, when she realized that none of the while dolls were on sale, she said (rather loudly) ‘THAT’S DISCRIMINATION!’

Now, I understand that we all want a good deal… but soon, stores aren’t going to accept coupons. Chill out, everyone. Nobody is ENTITLED to a good deal… yay for you if you get one, but if you don’t, no sweat!

    Happy New Year, everyone!

    • sandy

Erin, It is so sad to see people act this way. I agree chill out!

I hope you have a Great New Year

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

People are so rude. Mean couponers huh!!! We should be happy we are getting an awesome deal. why complain? I just have a great day everytime I get a good deal. =D

  10. sandy

    Still full price in Mid-Michigan.

  11. Jessica C

Still only $12.99 in Spokane, WA.

  12. KeriJMiller

In Tennessee. Went to Walmart because there is not a close by Target. Bouncin’ Babbles was $24.88, but I paid $4.50 after coupon for Sip N Cuddles.

  13. grace

I just went to Target today and there are no Baby Alive Dolls on clearance.

  14. echothor

No Baby Alive Dolls on clearance here in CT either 🙁

  15. Ashley

I went to the one in Jacksonville,Florida and they were $24.99 for the white ones, didn’t even think to scan the other races,I just asumed they were all the same price.I so would have bought the others.I will go back tomorrow !

  16. Michele

At my store in West Virginia they also had the African American doll on clearance for 6.22 for the caucasian doll was regular price and had a place on the shelves so I’m guessing it won’t be put on clearance which was a real bummer too. 🙁 I did score some great deals in the Christmas section -especially the Wonka Candy which is free or better after coupons.

    • crystal

where in wv please? im from wv also and would love one for my kids :0 thanks

  17. Wednesday

Got my Baby Alive Doll in California for free + overage since the cashier took $5.00 off my purchase! Thanks, Collin!

    • Tianna

Where in california? I live in So Cal.

      • kat.trinee

        Same here, couldn’t find it.

  18. mandy meyer

At my target in Kelso, WA they were still 14.00, but I did find them at Walmart for 9.50, so not bad after coupon.

  19. Amy A.

I found the African American babies at the Target on Alta Arden in Sacramento for $4.98. They had several left this afternoon. That store also had a good amount of Christmas at 75% off.

    • Melinda

The Baby Alive Doll for $4.98 at Alta Arden is not the SIMPLE CARE FOR ME doll. It is a soft body Baby Alive doll called “Sips and Cuddles” or something like that. It is 75% off though. They did have quite a few of those. The SIMPLE CARE FOR ME doll is full price.

  20. sherrybethb

At my Targer store in Southern Indiana they had the African American doll for $6.22 on clearance also, so $1.22 after the coupon! The Caucasion doll was regular price still at $24.89. I thought this was discrimination, and told Target about it, they really didn’t care. BTW, my grand-daughter loves her new doll, and said “OH Grandma, she adorable”. I ended up getting 2 dolls, and I’m going to give the other doll to another little girl that will appreciate and love her too.

  21. Vivienne

In Portland Oregon they were full price, $24.99

  22. Mona

    No more coupons.

  23. Amber

The page is blank – I guess the coupons are gone!! 🙁

  24. Amy

I have to say that I think it is discrimination to have the AA babies on sale and not the Caucasian ones. Sad to see that Target doesn’t really think so or care when you mention it to them. It’s the same doll. Because it’s a different color, it’s cheaper?

Anyway same situation at my store, though. AA babies on clearance, Caucasian ones not. Oh well. No deal for me today, not going to stress about it, but I do think it’s discrimination.

    • christen

Seriously…discrimination? Who is the discrimination towards? THE DOLLS? lol
      oh, please.
Maybe the white people who want to buy the white doll? Yes, someone MUST do something about this. White people have it bad enough without someone not giving them free dolls.
      ha ha

      • christen

by the way…calling the dolls Caucasian is funny, too!

        • Lisa K.

          Umm, it’s called Reverse Discrimination.

          • Christen

Ummmmmmmm, seriously? You guys are cracking me up! It’s really not a social issue! I love that people on here actually argued the point of discrimination at the Target stores. Too funny!

    • Moya

Stores mark merchandise according to supply and demand or even when the merchandise was stocked. I am sure the doll you are looking for will be on clearance soon. Keep an eye out. good luck.

  25. Angela

I got 2 of them here in Fort Collins. Had to go to the super Target on Harmony. And yes, it was the black ones! Thank God! I collected black dolls when I was a little girl. My daughter has nothing but white. So this was perfect for her to get little black twins. I think its an awesome way to teach our children to love every color! She adores them! Thanks!

  26. Michelle

I know the coupon is gone now, but I wanted to comment that ethnically diverse baby dolls are always on wish lists for families we sponsor at Christmas. Even without the coupon, I will stock up on these while they’re on clearance to donate next year, and I urge others to do the same. They’re harder to find than Caucasian dolls and can be quite expensive. Thanks!

  27. grace

i think items go on clearance based on how they do or do not sell… for example, at walmart a few weeks ago, the neon color storage containers were on clearance but the exact same earth tone colors were not… same kind of thing… i wasn’t offended by that, so try not to be offended by the target babydoll deal… i doubt anyone would say “discrimination” if the white dolls were on clearance and the AA dolls weren’t… 😉 happy new year everyone!

    • Jessica C

      well said!

  28. Tracee

I live in Fort Worth , Texas and there wasn’t any african american dolls at all and the white ones were all 24.98.

  29. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Still Full price in Nebraska.

  30. Rachel

Can get coupon to print? It is just an empty page. All out?

    • A.D.

      Same here

  31. Maryc

I checked today and didn’t find any on sale at Target in North Florida. Anyone in North Florida find them on Sale?

  32. Tara

I found some in downtown SLC today for $6.22. I bought 3 with the coupons I had (1 for m baby, one for my niece and one to donate). There were still about 10 or so left.

    • heather

went to layton the other day and none maybe i will try again. glad you were able to grab some and I think it is neat you got one to donate most people don’t 🙂

  33. Caryn

Is there anyone here from Virginia Area? Near Richmond? I’ve been to a couple of Target’s and neither the white or AA is on sale 🙁

  34. Shannon

Anyone have any extra coupons? It will not let me print! I am a single momwith 3 kids and this would
really come in handy for their upcoming birthdays! Thanks, Shannon in Washington

  35. Pinky

Just have to say to all those saying it is discrimination to only have the black dolls on sale, isn’t it only discrimination if you don’t get the free doll because it is black? Just saying, if I could get a free doll for someone wouldn’t really care what race it was. Most of the kiddos I know wouldn’t care either.

  36. RENEE

Next time I find only white towels on sale…I might complain that its discrimination! BAWHAHA!!!

  37. natavia johnson

It beeen along wild now I always wanted a baby alive doll bbut I didn’t know were to get any and I hoping to get one now.
