Recyclebank: Earn 60 Points = High Value Coupons

The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Check out this email I received from reader, Susie, regarding Recyclebank:

Good morning, Miss Hip! I went to the “new and improved” RecycleBank site this morning to check out their changes and was able to take 2 quizzes that have been previously offered for points – again! Naked Juice and Miller-Coors quizzes are up; you can earn 30 points for each!

Well, thanks to reader, Susie, I went to check it out… and sure enough, I was able to take advantage of both quizzes again and earn 60 more points! WooHoo!

To take advantage of these point earning opportunities, just sign in or register for a Recyclebank account here, then click on the tab labeled “Earn Points”. Now you should be able to scroll down and see the Naked Juice Quiz as well as the Coors Quiz. Plus, you can browse through all the other ways to earn points – there are lots! Once you’re finished, go check out the coupon rewards available by clicking on the “Get Rewards” tab.

If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is. RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes.  You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

  • Zack says:

Has anyone signed up for the recycle at home thing where they put something on your recycle can? It’s not available in my area, I was just wondering if that is a good way to earn points.

  • Jess G says:

Anyone else think that it’s extremely hard to search for specific coupons on their site?

    • Erin says:

YES! The new format is annoying me! It says 200+ food and beverage coupons but will only show a handful, even after changing settings. It also looks to me as though the point values have gone up on some items. I love recyclebank, but they should not have changed the rewards interface.

    • Melinda P says:

Yep! It’s totally annoying me, too! And it seems like they took out alot of the good rewards, too. :( Oh well.

      • Heather says:

I agree! Are the KASHI coupons gone?? I would have bought more if I knew they were going to take them away. It showed 200something grocery offers, then when I put in my zip code, it showed 8….and I can’t get back to a 200something. Anyone have a good zip code?

    • fairydust says:

yes! I liked the old format so much better. It says (70) next to Pet Deals then will only show me three total. :P

  • NolaGirl says:

Thanks Susie & Collin. I’ll get even more points soon thanks to curbside recycling! If you’re in Orleans parish, let your City Council rep know you want RecycleBank points to make up for doubling your sanitation fee.

  • fran says:

    I got 60 points, too.
    Thanks, Collin and Susie :D

  • Amy says:

LOL I think the Naked Juice points were the easiest 30 points I’ve ever earned. ;)

  • Vinita says:

DUH question…but how exactly do you use the referral code? I’m really a GOOF when it comes to handling things of a “techie” natture. I have the code, just don’t know how to get started. Should I cut and paste the url and email it to friends and have them click on the link? PLEASE HELP!

  • Sarah says:

Thanks for the extra points! I wanted to cash some in for more Kashi coupons, but I can’t find any!!! It says there is a bunch of rewards in different categories, but I can’t see any more than 8.

  • Deb says:

Got my second point set too but I’m still waiting for confirmation on the cell phone I sent them a couple weeks ago. They usually post my new points by now…

  • Megan♥ says:

Yahoo! I have a free bag of Wonderful Pistachios coming my way! :D I’ve been saving forever to get those! lol

  • Mary says:

I also have been having lots of trouble with the new interface, and I miss all of my old coupons – kashi, naked juice, earthbound organics, etc. A lot of the options are gone as well for some of the coupons, like on everybody’s nuts or wonderful pistachios, they had options before where you could get $2 off vs. a free bag. The interface also indicates that 345 coupons are available for food/drink, and then only 23 come up. I emailed Recyclebank to let them know my problems with the new interface and they assured me that all the old coupons (as well as NEW ones) will be available within 48 hours. We are 24 hours in, and so far – no dice.

Recyclebank is a great company but the only way they can serve their customer is if they know there is a problem. Email them if you are having problems and let them know you want to see your old coupons back! :)

    • Keri says:

I emailed them two days ago about my issues and haven’t heard back yet, except for the automatic response that someone will contact me “as soon as possible”.

  • Amanda C says:

Anyone else not getting the game, I’m getting Done with errors on page and nothing loading.

  • ZM says:

Thanks for the link to Recycle Bank! I read some of their articles & finally had some questions about recycling answered:
-Grease/food contaminants are a no-no for paper recycling
-plastic bottle caps are not accepted in most cities
-waxy paper cartons are not recyclable in my city, but in many CA & NY cities, they are. :)
-The envelopes with the plastic window are recyclable. :)
-newer, efficient dishwashers can actually save the amount of water you use, though I would never use them because I don’t pile up a lot of dishes in a day.

  • ella says:

Yes I took this tests two weeks ago and again it let me do it last week. I am guessing that you can take the same test all over every little while or not ??

  • fuzzymitten says:

    Thanks, Collin.

  • Francoise says:

  • Mitch says:

    This was an extra!
We have 2 accounts in this family
And we both scored the 60 points for these quizzes again!

  • Kate says:

I requested a coke coupon back in December and still haven’t recieved it. Anyone knows how long it usually takes for them to send their coupons out? Thanks

  • Flake says:

I only got 60 points where the hel do I get the other points to get up to 100?

    thank you
