PetSmart is offering up a great President’s Day weekend sale! Through Monday, 2/21, ALL varieties of their 4 lb bags of Science Diet dog food are on sale for ONLY $5! Even sweeter, there is a $5 coupon available in the 1/9 SS – which means FREE dog food!
If you don’t own a dog, think about donating. I did just that in this video! 
It’s a great way to pay it forward and get that warm & fuzzy feeling inside!

Just got from PetSmart and my dogs are already sleepinng with their bellies filled!! We were able to get 4 bags Free in one transaction. I think the sales tax was 1.17 or something- THANKS COLLIN!!!!!!

I came in this earlier this afternoon and read the post…checked my coupons and out the door I went. No problems at all just wish I had more then two coupons but free dog food you cant beat!!!!! I hope my dogs don’t get spoiled because they don’t normally get this good of dog food….

In addition to the coupons from the paper, I found another $5 off coupon for the Science Diet dog food in the coupon booklet Petsmart mailed me not too long ago when I signed up for Petsmart PetPerks. The offers go through the 27th of February. There was also a $5 off coupon for Avoderm Natural dog food, which was also on sale. The weight control variety was on sale for $5.99, making the the 4lb package of dog food only 99 cents!

This is one of the most fun deals I’ve gotten from this site! Note that the last bag of Science Diet we got had a $10 Petsmart gift card in it, so I used that to pick up 2 extra bags. So easy!

Someone else made this point. but its worth repeating I think : DONATE to your local no-kill shelter !!! I dont have dogs right now but love to support the many many non-profit groups out there trying to rescue dogs/cats from euthenasia

I think it is wonderful that you donate the pet food. I do the same thing. I get more than I know what to do with since we only have one little Chihuahua that prefers boiled chicken.

I had 4 of the coupons from hillspet.com that said $8 off of any one bag of dog food. They would not honor it bc the value of the coupon was higher then the price for the food. They would not adjust the coupon down. I found this strange since they adjusted Down when I bought the free dog treats a while back.
Hmmm… Well, I used a bunch of the $3 coupons bc I didnt have the ss… 10 bags for $22 isn’t too bad.

I had the 8.00 coupon plus two 3.00 coupon used all of them, then also used a wellness food coupon I had for my cat food, the Wellness cat food was 11.99 and I had a 3.00 coupon, my 8.00 coupon plus all the 3.00 coupons were applied and I spent 9.99 on the four bags. I thought this was pretty good, since it would have on a regular transaction all come to 42.00+. So you probably had to have something else that made more. Not sure how, but I was happy with my purchase, I didn’t have any of the 5.00 coupons.

I just got back from my PS in NW Indiana where there was a HUGE problem & I didn’t even have the coupons that made the food free! I still paid 2.00 per bag… They accused me of photocopying coupons (which I proved them wrong by pointing out the UPC codes…) & taking advantage of what the coupons were ‘intended’ for. They went so far as to almost have me go in & out of the store 10 times for 10bags… I’m furious. I bought 6 regular for my furry ones & 4 light for our local shelter & they questioned me actually donating as well. I eventually got 10 bags for 22.00 but it took 45 min, 2 managers & 3 nice cashiers… Corporate will be hearing from me. I always get a good enough deal without having to cheat… I hate it when I’m put under the interrogation lamp for legitimate purchases.

I like in Cleveland, TN and have 2 of the $5 coupons if someone is going to Chattanooga I can meet you at the cookes food store in Cleveland at 1:00PM Monday with the coupons.

I figured even with it, that food is more expensive than we usually buy, I wasn’t thinking they might have such a good sale to stack it with! Lesson learned: Save the coupons for anything we could use, even if I don’t think I’ll use them. Just in case.

i used newspaper coupons and off that site over the last 2 days and got 23 bags for all tax which was under $19.00 oop!!! all expirations were good thru end of next year, should last my poodle 1.5-2 years! our petsmart was awesome with overage..

i didn’t have or couldn’t find the 1/9ss but my friend had 9 of them…so with the printed coupons and her gift coupons I was able to go tonight (last night of sale) and purchase 16 bags for 14.44 out of pocket. our two purebred dogs cannot eat this, as it is filled with fillers and gross things, and gluton and their hair falls out, but our little mutt dog loves it. I plan to share with granny too. Thanks to my coupon gifting friend! My petsmart was awesome about accepting all the coupons, and they even scanned the 8 dollars through at 8 dollars.
