I have a dumb question….how can you use a $1 coupon on a box that is going to be free?? I don’t get it…lol.

      • amy

Unfortunately, my Target is pretty strict on coupon use. They will most likely not let this scenerio work for me since they say, “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied”. Since the cereal is free, they will probably not take the $1 mc at all, even if it seems it should be applied to the cost of the other cereal. Is this just my local Target’s interpretation? I used to love Target. ๐Ÿ™

      • Lindsey

Ok! That makes sense now :0) So…when figuring out deals…always save the B1G1 coupon for last?? Thank you Collin for answering my question :0)

  2. Katie Gurnsey

what are the rules for Target coupons? I just tried to print the Target cereal coupon and it said I have reached my limit of coupons I am allowed to print? what is my limit? I didn’t think I’ve printed out a lot from this site….any way I can get around this?

    • violinlinda

I had the same problem. What’s going on?

  3. Stephanie

Any one else having trouble printing the Target coupon??? I keep getting this message: Youโ€™ve reached the limit of coupons youโ€™re currently eligible to receive. BUT I havent printed any yet ๐Ÿ™

    • NW

Same here! Please post the answer if you figure it out!

    • angie

I got it too I wondered what I did wrong

      • Stephanie

I dont think we’re doing anything wrong….I guess I will try again later tonight. Hmm!

    • Heather

Yep and I tried 2 different computers, so its the site.

    • Amanda T.

Me too!! Post if anyone gets through! Will try again later!

    • Fluffy

i couldn’t get it to print either, I could get other coupons off the target site to print but not the kellogg’s

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m getting the same message as well. I’ve never printed them before. Must be a glitch.

    • Kiesha

Same here, and I haven’t printed any Target coupons in months. Figures!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Still not printing ๐Ÿ™

      • tandy898

        happening to me too

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I think this means the limit for the coupon has been reached. This happened to me a few months ago on another deal, it just ran out very quickly.

      • Monica

I just was able to print 2. Maybe try again. Good luck! ๐Ÿ™‚ –nevermind, should have read more carefully. I was able to print the mfg coupons, not the target. ๐Ÿ™

    • Nikki

Whew “/ glad it’s not just me having issues printing Target coupons =)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried to print it last night and it didn’t print. Some Targets allow the transaction of using a coupon on a free product, some don’t. I have several stores in my area and I have to avoid these types at some of them. I think Target does not like they this deal is going on and is not letting the coupon print anymore. Just a guess.

    • Mitchell Wischmann

Same thing for me. I just emailed corporate. Hopefully they’ll correct the issue so we can get our cereal! ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        having the same annoying problem…

        • steph

          Still not working

  4. Shannon

I don’t even see that coupon on mine on my list of target coupons.

    • TK

Same here, what state are you in? I am in CA.

  5. chazmck

    Just printed 2. Thank you!

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t print the Target coupon either, it also says I’ve reached the limit???

  7. Lisa

Check out this scenario, if Special K is $2.50… these are coupons I have on hand.
    Buy 4 boxes Special K oats & honey ($10)
Buy 4 boxes Crunchy Nut ($10)
    Use 2 BOGO Special K coupons (-$5)
    Use 2 $1 oats & honey coupons (-$2)
    Use 2 $1/2 Target special k coupons (-$2)
Use 4 Target Buy 1 Kelloggs cereal get crunchy nut free (-$10)
Use $1 off crunchy nut coupon (-$1)
    =8 boxes for free!

    • Amanda T.

Where are you getting the bogo Special K coupons? Thanks!

      • Lisa

They were available a few weeks ago. I don’t think they are around any more. BUT, here’s another scenario to get 4 boxes for free (with coupons that are all available right now):
        Buy 2 boxes Special K oats & honey ($5)
Buy 2 boxes Crunchy Nut ($5)
        Use 2 $1 oats & honey coupons (-$2)
        Use 1 $1/2 Target special k coupons (-$1)
Use 2 Target Buy 1 Kelloggs cereal get crunchy nut free (-$5)
Use 2 $1 off crunchy nut coupon (-$2)
        =4 boxes for free!

        • Amanda

Oh yes! I used them at Publix with the bogo sale!! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I thought there might be new ones out there! Thanks for the new scenario! I will definitely utilize it!!

  8. Takako

I choose mail option. Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Shannon

What page is the target coupon on?

  10. Leslie

I’m new to this site and I am trying to figure out what 1/23 RP means???

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

1/23 RP is the “rep plum” coupon insert from the Jan 23 paper

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it means that in Red Plum (a coupon insert from the Sunday paper) on 1/23 there was a coupon for $1 off of 1 box of Crunchy Nut cereal… good luck!!

    • Lysandra

1/23 is the date of the newspaper the coupons came in & RP stands for Red Plum. The newspapers have different coupon booklets in it, some are Procter & Gamble (PG), some are Smart Source (SS) & some are Red Plum (RP), hope that helps!

  11. Sally

Some of the Crunchy Nut boxes have a Try-It-Free Rebate on the back making this an even sweeter deal!

  12. Barbie

Has anyone had a problem using the “buy one Kelloggโ€™s cereal get Kelloggโ€™s Crunchy Nut cereal free” Target store coupon? I tried using it last night at my Target and when the cashier scanned it, it beeped and she told me she had to get manager approval to override it since there “has been a lot of flaudulant coupons” lately. I told her I printed it directly from the Target website. They ended up pushing it through, but I thought I was going to have to walk away from my $.25 cereals!

    • Renee

I got grief from a nasty cashier at Target for trying to use the 1.00/2 Mars coupon on the M&M hearts that are .99 each- she said it wasn’t pictured so I couldn’t use it. I had her void it off and then after I got to the parking lot and read that the coupon clearly states the M&M hearts on it- I went back inside and up to her- had her hand me the hearts and had another cashier ring me up!

  13. Kelly T

    Dear Bricks,

YES, I have it set on my default printer, it is my ONLY printer. No I am not sharing a printer on a network. No, I haven’t printed the coupon the maximum number of times, I haven’t even printed it ONCE! Bricks, you are a dirty, dirty, %&^*#!

    That is all.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Umm WOW it is only a coupon!!

    • Brooke

      Love it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

a dirty dirty what??!!! LOL!! I <3 this!

      • Kelly T

        Dirty, Dirty, *Rotten Scoundrel*…… ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are so funny, I love it!

    • Katie

Honestly?!?!?!?!?!?! It’s just a coupon with probably a max value of 2.50-$3. Do you have to get nasty? Just be thankful for all the other coupons you were able to print. Life goes on! I’m not getting nasty I just think that it’s pathetic for someone to get all worked up over a coupon! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • amy

won’t print for me and it is frustrating…for some free cereal means their kids will eat breakfast this week. quick to judge…just saying

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can understand her frustration. It probably just isn’t this coupon. Bricks do that to me a lot actually. It tells me I need to change my settings so it won’t remember my prints?!?! I can’t even do that. Bricks really get me going sometimes, because no it isn’t just one coupon. It adds up.

      • Kiesha

I took it as a humorous vent. Maybe you should take your own advice about “getting worked up.”

        • Kelly T

HA! It is ALL bricks coupons, and you are right, it was meant to be humorous. I am not actually worked up over a coupon. It is frustrating that on my grocery list I have five coupons that I can’t print out, but I am probalby still going to buy the items. I don’t see the post as being “nasty”, it’s not like I actually cussed or anything. I was meant to be a joke. I am sure there are 100s of people here that get a little disappointed when a coupon doesn’t print. That’s it, just slightly disappointed, not pathetic.

        • Katie
          • Kim

The companies set up only a certain number of prints and when they are out, you get that message. It is nothing with Bricks, or your computer, it just means if they set the limit at 10,000 prints, then 10,000 people have already printed. Sometimes they come back and up the number of prints, sometimes they don’t! That is why Collin and other websites will tell you to print ASAP. Some of these have very low numbers of prints allowed.

            • Kelly T

No trust me, my issue is with Bricks. I know it is. It’s not this coupon…is the one for the Sour Cream earlier, the one for the welch’s juice, the one for the Kraft cheese, Nabisco crackers, Newman’s salsa, pillsbury dessert, etc, etc, etc. I am not raising a fuss, I am not being negative. I am the first one to say “oh well” if I don’t get a deal or didn’t get to something in time. I get so many things at such a great discount, I am ever so grateful for the clothes, shoes, food, gifts, electronics, trips, restaurant deals, etc that I get to take advantage of!!! Is it not ok to jokingly blow off some stream because electronics can be frustrating? Because computers, printers, the internet, etc have glitches, and from time to time it can be frustrating. I thought others may see the humor in it and smile. The “negative police” can be a little unforgiving at times on here. We need to remember that written word differs so much from the spoken word, in whether it is positive or negative depends greatly on the person reading it.

            • Kiesha

Kelly I took it exactly the way you intended it. Isn’t it a little ironic that the “negative police” (love that term LOL) are so, well, “negative”? Sometimes to the point where they see negativity where none exists…things that make ya go hmmmm….

              ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

lol I don’t think she was really getting nasty, just a joke. Too funny Kelly!

    • CarrieD

I might be one of the few who took this comment as you intended. It made me laugh!

    • marcie l

Laughed my butt off when I read this commet! Keep smiling ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Mitch

I hope I get one of the better cashiers!
You know, the ones that don’t give you a hard time when the register goes “beep!”
    thanks

Target Q would not print for me or my neighbor. ๐Ÿ™

    • ROSE

i tried to print the buy 1 get 1 free crunchy nut from target and it printed a .75 coupon instead? anyone elses not printing what clicked on?

  16. Linda

I tried the cereal deal and the Reeses yesterday, and the cashier told me I could not use the $1 coupon on the free box of cereal. Nor would she let me stack the manufacturer and store bogo coupons for the Reeses. She said if the manufacturer coupon was for 50 cents I could use it, but they wouldn’t stack bogo coupons. (Which makes no sense….) I just printed a copy of their coupon policy, and I don’t see where it says you can’t use a coupon on a free item? Not sure if I should go back and argue or just take my business to Publix. If anyone from Target is reading – you may have lost a good customer of $1.67 in coupons!

    • Liz

This is correct while Target’s coupon policy states that you can use a Target coupon and a manufacturer coupon you cannot use a coupon at all on a free item. The only way this deal will work is if your cashier doesn’t notice, doesn’t care or doesn’t know. Good luck to those trying this out. I rather not push my luck.

  17. Jill

I LOVE you Collin! I’m so stocking up on cereal. Also, I just got a 120 count box of Huggies and a 57 count box of overnights on Amazon for $1.87 after I used my 20% off coupons and the $20 gift card that I got for $10 last week. Thank you!

  18. pbauerdorf

I tried couple times to print the TARGET Q FREE Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereal with purchase of 10-oz. or larger Kellogg’s BUT IT said
Youโ€™ve reached the limit of coupons youโ€™re currently eligible to receive.
BUT i havn’t print in weeks!! so I call CS and was not helpfull at all they send me to look under FQA I told the guy I check that already and any of those were helpful and He said well that’s all the help I can offer you! ๐Ÿ™ …

    • Kim

The companies set up only a certain number of prints and when they are out, you get that message. • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

thanks Kim your explanation makes more sense!!

  19. mel

this stuff actually tastes really good! I got it with the b1g1 a few weeks back (the coupon stated you had to get multigrain or original) and I actually just finished my first bowl of it. It smells like wheaties gold (if any of you remember that) and I’d definitely buy this stuff again.

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Hey everyone…newbie here. ๐Ÿ™‚

I need everyone’s expertise…I’m noticing that more and more coupons state “one coupon per purchase.” Can we stack Target q’s with these?

I read under Hip2Save’s FAQ: “The phrase โ€œone per purchaseโ€ means that you can use one (and only one) manufacturer coupon for each item purchased.”

But couldn’t they argue that a store coupon is a coupon also and can’t be used with the manufacturer coupon thats states “one coupon per purchase”?

    • Sarah

The “one per purchase” means you can only use one “like” coupon per item purchase. Target’s coupon policy states that it allows one mf and one Target coupon per item. I’ve never had any cashier say that statement excluded me from using a TQ along with it. HTH

  21. CarrieD

What might help you with this deal is to put all your MF Qs together and then all your Target Qs together. I have found that it helps to use the MFs first. I did this deal on Monday and I had no issues. Good luck ladies.

  22. Kristin

i don’t mean to rant or hurt anybody or cause any trouble, but I rarely comment for fear of getting my feelings hurt (as stupid as that sounds!) by something someone says maybe even unintentionally. it’s hard to tell the “tone” of someone’s words when they are written but somehow it comes through loud and clear when the words are meant to be unkind. It oes bother me when someone comments on someone else “getting worked up over “Just a coupon””. When circumstances leave you with little to look forward to out of your life but the occasional “high” gotten from getting a great coupon deal, having someone (maybe even unintentionally?) pokes fun at you it stings. The old “Sticks and stones” saying is so very wrong. Physical pain isn’t nearly as lasting and harmful as emotional!

We’re all here for one reason- to save money and to get stuff cheap/free. OK I’m dense and that’s 2 reasons. But I enjoy this site and I’ started to enjoy reading the comments until I see one that stings. I can get my feelings hurt offline somewhere else if i want to and I’m sure somebody else can too. Coupon us is tough enough! Let’s just all play nice, not criticize but offer constructive help an tips (even criticism).

Let us all honor Collin & her hard work and dedication to us by getting along. helping and encouraging one another–the main reason Collin works so hard! As a former blogger who couldn’t hold a candle to the work C does, she rocks and we all owe her a LOT for the $$ she saves us.

OK that’s a lot. I’m sorry, it’s just that I’ve come to realize lately that i have had hurt feelings for decades that coul have been avoided, and I’ve hurt others even more. I do not want any more regrets for hurting others, anf i really do not want others be hurt!

    ๐Ÿ™‚ Smiles and hugs ๐Ÿ˜‰

  23. Derek

High value? lol. There was just a BOGO $4.49 coupon available that made BOTH boxes free at Rite Aid, and you get 2 x $1 +UPs back. lol. $2 mm. No high value here …

    • Kiesha

Not everyone has Rite Aid in their area. Imagine that! LOL

    • Kim W.

So should we ignore new deals, because we took advantage of past deals? I don’t understand this need to criticize deals.

  24. Dana

I’m getting an error from the Target page that says:
Youโ€™ve reached the limit of coupons youโ€™re currently eligible to receive.

    But I haven’t printed anything? ๐Ÿ™

  25. TH

Looks like lots of people are having problems w/ this coupon. I did too. I don’t shop at Target much at all, and this isn’t helping ๐Ÿ™‚ I seem to have problems w/ their coupons more often. And I hate that they print off in the MIDDLE of a piece of paper! Wastes the entire sheet! Anyway, I’m over it ๐Ÿ˜‰ I don’t need cereal that bad, I guess, but i would love to try this Crunchy Nut stuff!

  26. andrea

I dont see the BOGO coupon ?!?

  27. Bab

I am not able to find the redplum coupon for $1 . Could anyone please help me find the coupon?

    Thanks,

  28. geri

I printed out 2 of these. also if you go the Stouffers site, you can print 2 $1 coupons for corner bistro stuffed melts & sous

  29. Linda

Ok, I know that I am a day late on this, but I cannot find the BOGO coupon anywhere on the Target site. I anly get $1 off two Special K. do I have to use a special zip code?
