  4. Robyn

Thanks! I just got a new printer today!

  5. Amy

This would be an AMAZING deal if you’re getting married and are crafty enough to make your own invites… Not sure if I’m up to the challenge myself, but it’s something to think about. 🙂

What program works best for making the cards?

I went to Target today here in the People’s Republic of Portland because I wanted to use the coupons. The least expensive cards, other than the 99 cent ones, were $1.99, which would have been 99 cents after the coupons.

I use Microsoft Office for my cards but you don’t have to use a program you can just go to avery.com and make them off of there I have done that too, the key is to take your printer off of Black and White mode so you have nice colorful cards.

Yea that was the same situation for me I live in Michigan but I had a super nice checker she was young sweet and just wonderful. First my $2 coupons would not scan but she just entered them in. I also ended up using 3 of the target coupons cause they sent one to my phone and the machine took it. Also I did the KY thing and on the package was a coupon for a free card up to $3 so I used that too. So I ended up getting two valentines and four b-days for just a buck!!!

I bought a Hallmark Card Studio program several years ago and use it all the time! I usually just print it on cardstock but these would be cool because they are probably already prefolded.

TY this should be great for making homemade/scrapbooking cards

  8. Takako

That’s so perfect for making more Origami greeting cards. I know it’s for print but that kind price, but I’m working on it so it’s fine. 🙂

  9. WeMo

I always make my own cards so this is GREAT! Thanks

  10. sonia

My 4 year old daughter loves to make her own cards, these will be perfect, and a lot cheaper than buying cardstock 🙂 Thanks

  11. Jenny

anyone find these at target for cheap??

  12. DeeTrig

Thanks for this great coupon! I will be going to Wal-Mart today to pick up the cards, and will be doing some last minute Valentine’s Day card making. That way they are more personalized for my husband and kids!

Where is the best place to buy envelopes when you make your own cards…or what do you do for envelopes?

    • Dawn

These Avery cards usually come with envelopes (the picture above reads that too).

      • MA

What about when you use your own card stock?

        • Lisa

Wal-Mart also sells boxes of different sized envelopes. They have the size for cards that are double folded and single folded and they are not very expensive!

        • Bethany

JoAnn’s and Michaels sells separate envelopes in many different colors that go perfectly with 40% or 50% off coupons!

    • Carrie C

      These come with the envelopes.

I usually buy my envelopes (when I make cards out of cardstock) from Staples or Wal Mart. I buy the invitation envelope size.

  14. Sue

I used this coupon at Wal Mart a little while ago. The cards were 6.88 before coupon, so I got them for 1.88.

  15. Miranda

Darn, it says that the coupon has expired

  16. nora

    coupon gone now!

Went to Walmart on Saturday evening here in the People’s Republic of Portland. I very rarely go to Walmart, but broke down yesterday because there were enough things on my list to make it worth while. There were no Gilette Proglide Razor packs for $5 or any price, no Colgate for $1.00 ($1.74 here), no Athenos yogurt, no Mars candy Valentines, no Clorox “To Go,” no Butterfinger Snackerz (haven’t received them yet, per an employee), no Mrs Wages salsa mix (for which I have a free coupon and the website lists Walmart) and the Avery cards were $6.88 which is the regular price and the only thing we bought. To make the time spent even less pleasureable, was our checkout experience. After spending time in a line, the checker told my husband that he was closed, so we moved, but then he checked out the person who was behind us. I noticed this while waiting in another line and mentioned it to the cashier, who just looked at me. There was nothing she could have done, but some acknowledgment of my complaint would have been nice.
