Do any of you have probs using 2 coupon for a BOGO at Walgreens? My Walgreens is pretty iffy. Just wondering what your experiences are.

    • Tori

last week i tried for the airwick starter kits, and they would only let me use 1 coupon, but then i got home and read their coupon policy and it stated you can use 2 coupons on a b1g1 sale, you might have to get a filler so the coupon doesnt exceed the total though

      • Connie

I had several of the air wic coupons and went 2 walgreens and bought several of the airwic starter sets and was able to use 2 coupons for each deal making the air fresheners all free. I didnt clear the shelves and I went to 2 different ones to use my coupons and went back a couple of times for other things and there were still plenty of them left on the shelf all week. The assistant manager said I dont think you can use both on this deal because you are not really buying the free one and I said Yes I can because it is in your coupon policy and he honered it. You are allowed to use 2 coupons on a buy one get one free deal. It states it in the coupon policy. It helps to have a copy of this when you go in the store so that you can show them what their own store will accept and what it wont lol. Have a great day.

    • Niki D

Chrissy, if you go on the Walgreens website, their coupon policy states:

“When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.” So they should not give you a hard time for using two coupons on a BOGO, good luck! 🙂

    • jmartcougar

I used two coupons on the BOGO Renuzit no problems paid 99 cents!

    • Rachel

I did it today with the renuzit spray and they took 2 coupons on top of the BOGO offer the store had without any problems.

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Check your receipts @ checkout! I’ve been getting Catalinas for a FREE Taster’s Choice @ Wags. I’ve collected 3 so far for a $3 Moneymaker!

    • Leslie

Is it regular or decaf or just regular. I can only drink decaf.

  3. delia

I have a tasters choice cat from kroger…will wags take it? Does anyone know?

    • BORN2RUN

while they should as long as it is a manufactures catalina Q it is kind of a YMMV situation. Depends on your cashier 🙂

      • Delia

YES it says manufac Q on it! However the cashier part scares me b/c the devil works at my Wags. She fights me everytime and everytime I whip out the coupon policy faster then I whip my hair back and forth.

        • Laura

lol, the whipping your hair back and forth made me laugh….my girls love that song.

        • Tatyana

          LOL!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOL the devil must have some relatives that work over at my Wags! The way the employees are, you’d think you were taking $ out of their pocket to pay for your stuff!

  4. lucysmama

    I see a theme…three coffee deals just today! I <3 coffee too…bring 'em on!

  5. kristen

Kind of off topic…but has anyone had problems using RR’s at the commissary? I emailed DECA to get their official policy on whether or not they can be used and the response I’ve gotten was so vague I still don’t know what the policy is!

    • BORN2RUN

i actually have a their coupon policy from the manager at my last commissary after quite a few coupon issues with them. It does not state anything about RR in that policy but back last august I believe DECA put on their facebook wall that they do take them which I printed out and keep with me along with their coupon policy. If you would like a copy of their coupon policy please feel free to email me and I will send it along 🙂 bekahbol708 at yahoo dot com

  6. cwil

I am in Portland, OR and the Chinet plates deal is great. It WAS advertised in my store actually…well, not in the ad, but it has the price tag that said, “Buy one for $2.99, get one free.” I happened to have my two $1/1 chinet coupons, and scored two ten packs of nice plates for 50 cents each!
does the Biore deal start today? Is it already active?

  7. dani

coupon not found in the chicago tribune 2/13 RP….so it’s a regional thing. bummer.

    • BORN2RUN

not in nashville TN either that I can find 🙁

    • Laura

Wow coupons in the Chicago tribune? I live by Peoria and a few various stores carry the tribune but haven’t seen coupons in it in months.

      • Sara

Have you heard of Yes! Your Essential Shopper? I don’t have a subscription to my local newspaper and they offer free inserts delivered to your door on Sundays to those who don’t have a subscription. In my area (Fresno, CA) it is only available to select zip codes and mine is not one so my sister signed up to receive them at her home for me. I looked them up and it looks like quite a few newspapers offer this. You can sign up online.

        • Amanda

do you know the website? I tried google but all kinds of stuff came up 🙁

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Try searching with Bing. It should come up under links for local newspapers. I just went down the list until I found my local paper.

        • babyrn

I get the newspaper delivered to my home, but I still requested to get the YES circulars so I get it as well!

        • Christa

Sadly this is not in my area. ☹

    • Denise

I did not get this coupon either, I live in Southern California, we don’t get the good coupons and our Walgreen’s don’t like to clearance much!

    • Ada - Lovin Him

Not in the Detroit Free press either. I checked Hip2save coupon Database along with Deal seeking Mom’s coupon database and don’t see it listed in either one for the 2/13RP – could this be a typo?

  8. Melissa

Were the tasters choice coupons regional??? Can’t find them…. bummer. Looks like they are still free even without coupons. (-:

  9. Lisa K.

I was unable to find the Taster’s Choice coupon… Was that one regional or am I missing something? I know someone who is stationed in Afghanistan right now and instant coffee packets are supposed to be a good item to send them – so I’d love to cash in on this deal if possible!
P.S. I also noticed Kroger has a Catalina advertised for $2 that prints if you buy two boxes of Taster’s Choice but it’s $1.49 a box – not a bad deal at 50 cents a box, but not as good a price as FREE. 🙂

    • Jen

Thanks for that tip! My mom’s church is putting together shoeboxes and we knew the drink mixes, (crystal light, etc.) but didn’t think about the instant coffee. What a GREAT idea!

  10. happy coffee camper :)

I just got back from my Walgreens and after the third Nescafe coffee was scanned, the machine spit out $1.50 off of 3 which my cashier used. I didn’t have any coupons to start with so that was such an awesome deal!! I also picked up some creamer which is B1G1 free.
I also found at CVS that Simply Smooth Folger’s Coffee was clearance to $2.49 so with the $2 coupon that Collin mentioned the other day, it was $0.49!!!

I have tests all week so I’m seriously going to be wide awake with all of these wonderful coffee deals. Thanks Collin! 🙂

    • Kirsten

Thanks for the catalina tip! I didn’t get the regional $.50 coupon, so I was going to skip this deal, but on the chance that a coupon might print to use and make it a money-maker, I think I’ll try it after all!

      • Cherie

        I got the catalina too!

  11. andez98

There is a BOGO print out there, if still available you can combine with 75cents off mfg coupons on this 2/$2 sale at Wag’s. Buy 4 or more to get the catalina’s. If you have the $2 coupon for Folger’s, you can get the small containers for 79cents.

  12. Leigh

Probably a dumb question…..but how do you find out about the monthly RR deals?

    • karin jones

Me too!! I tried the Biore deal this past Sunday and my RR didn’t print. The manager wouldn’t honor it because it wasn’t in the weekly sale ad. Where are the monthly deals written?

  13. Judith

I bought 3 and received a coupon at checkout for $1.50 off 3, so I bought another 3 and received another coupon… 🙂

    • Coupons Rock my world

I bought 4 and received the $1.50 off 3. So I did the same as you did. Expect I purchased 4 and got $4 RR back. Great money maker and I do really like this coffee.

  14. Geri

Ok Walgreens shoppers I need your help! I did the ALmay deal at walgreens many times last week because it was a great money maker. I had read in the comments that I could use my RR at Kroger so I did the deal MANY times to get alot of rewards. I went to Kroger shopping today and was told no you can not use RR at any Kroger stores. Can someone please let me know if there is any where that will take all of these RR I earned last week. BTW … I am in Georgia! Thank you!!!!

    • rossjulie

Harris Teeter takes them here in NC. Can you shop at a Military Commissary? If so, they take them too! Good luck.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Kroger affiliate is called Ralphs here in S. CA and they are the ones that told ME I could use them there. I wasn’t eve3n inquiring about using them there, I had lost a stack one day (they fell ouot of my pocket) when I stopped there on my way to Walgreens. I whipped another one out to show them and ask if anyone had by chance turned any in. She replied “no, but you can always use those here because they are manufacturers coupons.” I was very pleased and I have been using them there since without any problems. Once in a while a cashier is unsure and asks management and they always say YEP! Have your Kroger contact other Krogers maybe and/or corporate and see what they say. They DO get reimbursed like any other coupon. HTH

  15. happy1038

I thought RRs were only good at Walgreens and I remember that we thought we could use them at Walmart but then it was decided that Walmart does not accept them. I hope you will be able to use them somewhere else. If not, you have tons to work with on your next few Walgreens Deals 🙂

  16. happy1038

I need help too please. In general, is overage only possible when you use a manufacturer coupon AND an in store coupon? It’s just that I’m new to this and every time I think I’m going to get overage, they end adjusting DOWN the coupon. I bought 2 Natural Instincts Hair Color for $1.78 each and used a $5 off coupon and a $2 off coupon and they had to adjust it down to match the price..The big question is I just don’t understand WHEN you actually get overage and when you don’t when the coupon is for “more off” than the item itself. When do you get overage and when/what stores adjust the prices down? Thanks so much for anybody to help me..

    • rossjulie

I rarely get “overage” at Walgreens. They usually adjust my coupons down because they beep at checkout. Walmarts new policy states that they will give you the overage. ie: you have that $5 coupon for hair color and it’s only $3 so you’ll get the $2 overage.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You can ONLY get overage if their is a Walgreens coupon involved. If a manufacturers coupon is over the price of the items you are buying and you have no other “like” items to absorb any additional overage then the register will beep. (and it can not be forced) By like items i mean either more of the same item or possibly an item in the same product family, but then that really depends on how the coupon is coded and would get way to technical. However with a Wags Q and a Manuf. Q together, the Wags Q does not talk to the MQ, so always hand over the MQ first and then the Wags Q. If sone in the opposite order, sometimes the MQ figures out a discount has already been given and know it exceeds the price now so it will beep forcing the cashier to adjust it down. HTH and makes sense to you. So in other words do NOT count on any overage unless you have a deal that includes both a Wags Q and a MQ and always give the MQ first. 🙂 Keep the WQ hidden if you have to so they do not try to make you give it first. My Wags could care less and I just ask them to not scan it first if I am doing multiple transactions (as they like to do that when they have it readily sitting there from the previous tranny). I just tell them that sometimes it messes up the other coupons so they always say no problem, but ymmv.

  17. Lynn_N

Must have been regional, couldn’t find it in the MI or IL papers that I have 🙁

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Anyone know…. IF your in *Oregon* will the ‘Nescafe Taster’s Choice’ –Register Reward deal work?? I am getting fed up with the lack of RR deals available for us on the dumb new Reward Card program.

    • shellb

Reward card program?? Are they changing the RRs?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

it’s nbeen in testing in select locations for some time now. So far reports back is not so good. Hopefully this will NOT become nationwide and will fade away into the sunset for all.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That is a tough one. Some say that if it is a month long deal you are more likely to get the RR and not the card rewards, however I can not confirm or deny it as I live in S. CA. The best thing to do would be to go to slickdeals forums and go to this weeks WAGS section and ask there. There are a lot of people from the test regions and they often know these things, some by trial and error. 😀 HTH

  19. shellb

Has anyone got the herseys q for spending $10? It is one that could be used for overage at walmart?

  20. Eg

My local store has Nescafe at $1.69…OVERPRICED!! I don’t know if this works…But worth trying even though the cashier in the morning is VERY MEAAAAAAAAAAN.

    • ScrapGal

Maybe the price was $1.69 for 1 $1 each if you buy 2 or more. Sometimes walgreens does that where the single item price is way higher than if you buy multiples.

  21. Sara
  22. Eg

I went to the store and it did not print 3/$1.5 off… it printed 2/$1 off only! No $4 Katalina!! I wonder if this is becuase the cashier did not scan EACH item. He only scanned 2 items or 1 item, and press some key to multiply the number of the item. Does each 4 items need to be scanned to get the $4 Katalina?

  23. mimi

I bought 4 Always in two transaction and no RR printed. Did anybody have luck with those?
Should I contact catalina or just return them? (Though, I don’t feel I am confident enough to return pads…)

  24. Caro

Per the cashier at the store here in the Peoples Republic of PDX (Portland,OR), she had an memo that the info about a Register Reward on the Always pads was an error.

    • mimi

Oh! so this might be the case, since I live in Portland as well. It might work in other areas, since I just saw somebody said it printed for her.

  25. Rachel

Does the tasters choice coffee deal print back RR on just buying 1 box or do I need to buy a certain amount of boxes?
