It’s always nice to start the day with a freebie. Thanks, Colin! 🙂

  2. LC

whoo hoo! Got it! I wonder if it is a sample or full size?

    • TJ

Good question. Probably a sample size. But still I love being able to try new stuff and not having to buy it. Too many times have I bought things and thought, “Eh, so not worth the money”

  3. OiOi

    Thank You!

  4. ALYSSA

it took 8 texts, just FYI.

    • Hollie

Yea I was thinking that was a bit much. All that for just my address?? Just ask what’s your name and mailing address! Duh!!! LOL

      • MommySpendsLess

If they did that people would provide the information in different formats and it probably wouldn’t transfer into their data base system correctly.

The good news is that a lot of the text message offers are connected so the next time a 467467 offer comes up you probably won’t have to give them as much information. I’ve done their offers before so I only had to confirm my name.

        • Laura

If you head over to shoptext.com, you can set up an account so in the future your text freebies only take 2-3 texts and you don’t have to enter your addy on the phone etc. 🙂

          • savdoc2

The only thing I had to provide was my first and last name.

            • Hailey Z.

True, I only send my name after the 1st text and they said wait 6-8 weeks. They probably saved our numbers and info from the previous texts from 467467.

  5. TJ

Cool. Last time I tried to get the covergirl samples and this text messaging thing was a hot mess because I don’t have a homephone. BUT I was able to score this. Sweet..by the way..is there a coupon-aholics anonymous…I feel like I cant stop!!! I have enough personal care items and bath & body works stuff I feel like I look like a hoarder! Seriously 15 tubes of toothpaste? 200+ razors? 30+ body washes?! I could clean up all of San Francisco’s homeless population with this supply. Any tips to help me calm down on this craze?!

    • nicolep21

Donate it to a local Women shelter or to your local Social Services office. They can hand that stuff out to their foster homes and our local women shelter LOVES to have this stuff on hand. Nothing makes me feel better than helping others out with the GREAT deals I got.

      • me

You answered your own question!! “clean up all of San Francisco’s homeless population with this supply”. Go for it!! It’s a great feeling to share your successes!

  6. Kari

it only asked me for my first and last name and then said thnx it was on the way.. How do they know where to send it? lol

    • LC

      LOL! Me too!!

      • Amy

That is exactly what I just got as well…hmmmm

        • Jennifer K

They asked for my home phone number so they could track my address that way but we don’t have a home phone. It said that if you dont have a home phone number to enter your zip code. I entered my zip code, then it asked for my address. Confirmed my address then asked for my full name.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Same thing happened to me LOL weird! Guess we’ll have to wait and see…I will be pretty freaked out if it actually shows up in my mailbox 😉

    • Valerie

I just replied with my name and address…hope it works!

    • Angie

When I did it, it asked for home phone number (which we don’t have.) If you don’t have home phone, then it asked for your zip code. Then a few more texts back and forth. Asked for street. Then asked to confirm. Then asked for name. So it did take 4 or 5 texts, but I have received the final message to expect it in 6-8 weeks. If you didn’t get another message, they may have retrieved your info by your phone from a contact database they have.

      • Heather

you can sign up on shop text website (create and account) however it asked for a credit card number … i wasn’t giving that information up,

    • Misty

You had to make a shop text account & they have all that info through your account. Once you do that all your info is saved through your phone number 🙂

      • Julie

That would make sense…….same thing like the Cover Girl products? Great freebie!!

    • michelle

mee too. I did it twice. ;-(

    • Amanda

Same here! I think if you have done other text freebies they have your info already. I guess LOL

  7. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Probably a cell phone data base contains addresses?

  8. Elizabeth

    Got it! Thanks!

  9. Alice

    Got mines!!!Yeah

  10. Cassie

They texted me several times asking first for home phone or zip, then to confirm address, then for first and last name. HTH!

    • Jamie S.

me to and I dont have free texts 🙁

      • Elisa

I dont either I paid like 4.00 on my texts with C&C but I have a prepaid tracphone that has monthly minutes free. I use it only for emergencies my home phone I use mostly I pay under 28.00 a month with comcast xfinity with local n long distance vcmail and online caller id. I am trying to save all I can.

      • Bee

We would have to give up our phones if we didn’t have unlimited texts…

  11. Deb

Just got it…takes a few longer when you have no land line.
Does anyone still pay for 2 phone bills??? LOL!

    • Heather

just a thought, we still have a land line, only because if there is an emergency, if you dial 911 from a landline they have your address automatically if you dial from a cell phone they have to use GPS tracking which will taking longer in the event of an emergency

      • Donna

Hi! I agree with the emergency tracking. Also, I’m from the Philadelphia suburbs. Around here most people have landlines b/c you can bundle it with your cable and internet so it’s essentially free.

        • Heather

i think that is like that in most places, if you dont have TV Cable or other services other than internet, a lot of phone companies offer a discount phone service for like 9.99 a month, no long distance or caller id or any of the other goods

      • Katy

Heather I’m not sure about your state but in TN you can still make a 911 call without actually paying for service. If you have a phone plugged in and dial 911, you can still call out. That’s the only phone call you can make though. It’s the same with cell phones. Even if you don’t have service to that phone if you can turn it on you can make a 911 call. Found that out via my then 2 year old. We gave her an old phone to play with and thought it was dead. Oops…it wasn’t! The land line my husband told me about, he’s a firefighter. We still have a land line because of his job but in case you want to get rid of yours 🙂

    • Julie

Me and my 14 year old daughter both have cell phones but I have kept the land line so that my 7 year old can still make/receive phone calls. I just cant see myself being one of those parents who gets their elementary school kid a cell phone (no offense) but once she is older and gets a cell phone we will do away with the extra bill 🙂

  12. Angie

    Awesome!! Thanks so much!!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Thanks!

  14. Krystal

I only had to give my name…but I got it!

  15. Leslie

If you text CLEAN to 467-467, you will be able to score a $5 off coupon for a Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit!

  16. Jamie P

I texted them and never received anything back. Wonder if that means they are out?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Try again Jamie. I had to text them twice before everything went through. I think they’re just slow due to a ton of traffic. HTH.

      • Jamie P

Thank you! That did the trick. Have a beautiful day! 🙂

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Fantastic! So glad it worked for you! Take care and you have a beautiful day as well! 🙂

  17. Jamie S.

very cool! Thanks. I got it no problem!

  20. Elisa

I am thankful to be one of the select few who will be receiving a bottle in the mail in 6-8 weeks 🙂 thank you Hip2save

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just 3 texts not bad, will get 6-8wks. Thank U Collin. Wondering if this just a smale packet style like samples usualy are like, if so probably wasn’t worth the texts. Just saying.

  22. lisaem79

I text my first and last name and they just said thanks I should receive it in 6-8 weeks. Wonder why they didn’t ask for my address? We shall see if it shows up!

    • MommySpendsLess

Have you done other 467467 text offers? A lot of the text offers go through that same company, even if they’re for different products. I think there was a makeup one (Cover Girl? and/or Seventeen magazine?) and possibly Food Lion as well that used the same marketing group.

  23. Wendi

I only got 1 text asking for my name. Weird. I may or may not get it…. We’ll see…..

  24. Sarah

Just n FYI for the to those concerned about the texts… if you register first @ shoptext.com which is where 467467 offers come from you should only have to verify your name instead of having to verify everything. Thats what I just did.

  25. Jill

how long does it usually take to get a reply back to the text ? (to enter your info?) I haven’t gotten anything and it’s been about 15 min since I sent it….

  26. Emily

    expired

  27. Sally

Thanks, I just put my request through, said I’ll have it in 6-8 weeks. 3 texts, that’s not bad. Seems easier than the forms online.

  28. Jill

Typo in heading *Clean and CLEAR*

  29. Rachel

    I just got it! 🙂

  30. Candice

YAY! Took two tries but I got it.

  31. Shelly T.

Thanks I just did the text at 11:48 pm central time and I got it! I thought for sure it would be gone by now. Thanks!
