Our Wal-mart has that particular Dove bodywash for $2. They have had it a while, with a sign that says “Limited Time Offer.”

  2. Julie

Quick Question: Where do you see the monthly RR deals like the one for Cottonelle? It’s not in my weekly ad.

    • Pam

It was is printing the deal through the catalina.

  3. Jessica K

Is the math correct on the Cottonelle deal? I get a dollar more. I’ll be picking some up either way, but I wanted to make sure.

    • Pam

      You can actually buy 2 = $10 – $1(2 x .50 man cpn) – $2(2 x1 walg coupon book coupons)= $7 then u get the $3 rr = $4 so $2 each

      • Megan

That’s what I was going to mention…the deal on the TP is slightly better if you get only 2 at a time.

      • Collin

You’re right! I updated the post!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          wait…wouldn’t three be….
          buy (3) =$15.00 minus (3) $.50 coupon=$13.50
then minus $3.00 for the may coupon in book = 10.50 out of pocket
          receive $4.00 RR
          $6.50 total price
          $6.50/3 each = $2.17 or $.18 per roll

          • marbiehof

But will the RR still be available for this toilet paper next Sunday?

            • marbiehof

Never mind! I see now that the RR is good thru May 15! Silly me!

            • Cindy

I read below about the using previously earned RR from a manufacturer on the same product and not getting new RR’s. So, can I buy 2, get the $3 RR, then 2 a second transaction, buy 2 again, and use the $3 RR, and still get $3, making it a money maker? (Sorry – still learning)

            • Cindy

      • Nicki

what book do you get the walgreens coupon in, thanks.

        • Araaidan

The new May savings book near the store flyers (it’s not out yet…)

          • Nicki

Thank you, I missed that part 🙂

    • Shannon Stark

I got the same math she did. Did you calculate that the Walgreens coupon will take off $3.00?

      • Jessica K

gotcha. the way it was written before, i was thinking the manufacturer’s coupon was a .50 off of 3. making sense now!

  4. Guest

The Splenda coupons are beeping because the coupon is higher than the cost of the item. The cashier will have to adjust the coupon down to 2.99, also it says that in our corporate coupon policy, so if it beeps, show them the policy and make sure that they adjust the coupon down for you.

    • MichelleM

      Mine did not beep…

    • kim

my splenda beeped and the cashier would not adjust it neither would the manager and I showed the manager the policy and she said I have to go by my corporate (what hers is different than all the other wags corporate) UGH!

  5. Sonya

The coupon says only valid at Walgreens. Can I use it at Wal-Mart?

    • Noelle

Yep, I did yesterday with no problems. 🙂

      • Karin

Oh thanks!! I’ve been wondering about it, but haven’t tried it yet. I’m pretty sure they are already gone by now at my Wags, so try to look for them at WM. 🙂

        • Rebekah

Because it says redeem ONLY at walgreens….instead of redeem at walgreens it should in fact be used at walgreens even though it will scan elsewhere.

          • Karin

I’m looking at WM coupon policy now, and they say that they accept IP coupons with remit address with ‘manufacturer’s coupon’ printed on them, expiration date, scannable bar code, etc.(This part from ‘Print-at-home Internet coupons’) I thought their ‘Competitor’s Coupons’ part means paper coupons on competitors’ actual circulars, not IP ones. But not 100% sure, so I never used them at WM. I’ll ask the CS about this next time and make sure it is 100% OK to do that. Thanks. 🙂

            • Amanda

A friend of mine called our local walmart to ask if they accepted the Target Web Coupons. The person that they talked to at the store (not sure if it was a manager or not) said they would so we went to get the great deals. When it was check out time the cashier and a CSM said that they treated those coupons like they were price matching, and they didn’t try to scan them, just took the value off of their price. They don’t get reimbursed for price matching.

    • A

it will scan elsewhere since it is a MFR coupon, but only Walgreens will get reimbursed, so I believe you should only use it at Walgreens.

      • Diane

It’s not any different then using a manufacturer coupon catalina from walgreens at target (which they have accepted).. the store’s get paid out regardless.. as long as they accept them! 🙂

        • Rebekah

That is actually not the case…..because it says “ONLY” and not “just redeem at” like most catalina coupons do(check them you will see)…..anyways it will scan anywhere but that doesn’t mean they will get reimbursed ….do what you feel is right I guess.

          • Rebekah

Karin….If you check and they tell you to go ahead and use it then you did your job of checking 🙂

            • Karin

That’s the part I’m still confusing, ‘redeem ONLY at’ ones. Even if my WM says I can use them, I’d like to make sure if the company reimburse the cost to WM. So I sent an email to Dove asking about this, and see what they say. Thanks! 🙂

  6. Noelle

Yay! This Dove link works for me…the one in the previous post didn’t.

  7. mandee

the splenda is only beeping because it is for $3 off the item is $2.99 and its only beeping at some walgreens one that I went to 2 coupons went threw and one beeped but they hit manf coupon and put the coupon in as $2.97. and my $4 rr printed fine.

  8. Chinx

Do you also need a store card to get this deal? If so, how do I get one? Thank you!

    • fran

You don’t need a store card. As far as I know, Walgreens doesn’t have a store card. I did read on here before, that there are cards in test areas.

  9. Heather Walters

I have a general question that I have been wondering about. If I’m getting 2 of the same item in one purchase can I use, for example, 2 of the same manufacturers coupons for .50 off 1 of these items. I hope that makes sense. Because I thought that the manufacturers coupons normally say only 1 coupon per purchase?

    • Candace

per purchase is 1 coupon per item, per transaction would mean you could only use 1 of that coupon then pay, then could do another transaction an use that coupon again.

    • Holly Hasper

Yes you can use 2. A purchase is 1 item ( meaning you can use 1 coupon for each of the same item your purchasing). Occasionally there will be coupons that say one per transaction and then you can only use one no matter how many you buy. Hope that makes sense.

      • Heather Walters

Thanks guys!!!! I was thinking “purchase” and “transaction” were meaning the same thing. 🙂 I feel better now.

  10. stefany

I am new to walgreens shopping. can i use a previous register reward if i have more that just the toilet paper and still get a rr for the toilet paper? (like if i buy 3 of them and then have a few other items as well) or do i have to break it up into 2 transactions?

    • fran

You will get a RR as long as the RR you are using to purchase that transaction, isn’t from the same company as any of the items you are purchasing.
A good thing to do is, write the name of the company on the RR (in this case Kimberly Clark). That way you’ll know at a glance whether you can use it on your next order. You won’t be able to use this new RR on any Kimberly Clark product, if there is another RR deal on Kimberly Clark. I hope I didn’t confuse you 😀

      • stefany

That was a GREAT answer! Not confusing at all! Thanks 🙂 Makes much more sense now.

  11. Diane

I had problems with the splenda coupon also. The cashier realized it was for the right sized product, but still wouldn’t take it because the product was $2.99 and the coupon was $3.00/1. When I showed her my coupon policy where it says coupons can be adjusted down, she (the asst. store manager) told me that it was incorrect and they could not do that. I walked out without buying anything. I will no longer shop at that walgreens and I proceeded to call corporate. What’s the point in a coupon policy if the stores don’t abide by it???

    • April

I say go back and make them lower that price.. They have to… I used mine no problems.. I do have issues with Walgreens, but this trip I had a great cashier (young man) and he let me do everything in one transaction and ran the coupons thru manually if they didnt scan.. Good luck and dont be afraid to speak up!

    • Crystal

I didn’t even make it to the register with my Splenda. I had 6 boxes in my cart to do two transactions since my husband was with me and there was plenty of Splenda still left on the shelf. I was in the candy isle when the manager came and told me that I could only buy 2 boxes. I was polite and explained that I needed to buy 3 and she refused to budge. She said she had been telling customers all week that they could only buy 2 boxes per day. No wonder she still had Splenda! Now I realize that managers can limit quanity but there was no signs stating the limit anywhere. If there was I would have seen it and walked right out the store. Who was in the right here?

      • Lindsey

She’s being absolutely rediculous! You need to purchase 3 in order to get the RR’s! Sorry, I’d call corporate. I emailed corporate about my manager not knowing how to adjust the coupon down – and corporate was great. Gave me a personal phone call and said that they talked to my local manager about the correct coupon policy. Hopefully you can get this fixed!

        • kim

really I will call corporate cause the manager at my wags would not adjust
          Thanks

  12. jessica

Silly question but May 1st is not until Sunday. Do we know for sure that Cottonelle will still be on sale for $5 with next week’s sales?

    • Kathryn

The Cottonelle toilet paper is always $5 I believe

      • Rebekah

I checked while I was there, and it seemed to be the regular price

        • Tanya

so this is a the everyday price… do you know if they run specials on it very often?

    • marbiehof

BUT will the RR still be there???

  13. felicia

I went Sunday morning and had the best cashier, she adjusted the splenda coupons down with no problem. I had an issue with the stayfree not giving me the 2.99 RR, so the cashier gave me 3$ cash (HECK YEAH!) and she made a call to notify people the RR was not working for that item. She also let me get the Crayola color explosion for 2$ instead of $10, because when they stocked the store, they put them in the wrong bin, and the price said 2$, and of course I had the 2$ coupon making it free! I love having amazing and knowledgeable cashiers!

    • Mobina

Where can I get the walgreens coupon book?

    • Erin S.

Wow! Helpful cashiers are always the best!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a gal! Make sure you tell the manager what a gem he has in her.

  14. Jill

I have used the $1/1 Stayfree coupons from the Sunday paper with no beeps. Each time, I’ve bought the 14 count overnight ones.

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t see the Dove deal in the Wags ad. Is it just a random in store special?

  16. autum

Aren’t body washes a waste of money. I like soaps.

    • Rachel F.

I’d say it depends on if you get the body wash for free or almost free. Bars go so quickly for us and my body wash will last about 4 months because you don’t have to use very much each time! Right now you can get free Nivea at WalMart so it is definitely cheaper! 🙂

      • marbiehof

Want your body wash or hand soap to last even LONGER?! Use the REGULAR liquid soap, any brand will do. Using a pump that foams the soap, pour just about 1-2ounces (in a 12 ounce pump) of soap, next SLOWLY add water, not all the way up as it will spill out when you put the pump back in. TAKE THE PLASTIC “STRAW” THINGY OUR OF THE PUMP and put the pump cover back on. Shake it gently, turning it over and over. Take the pump back off and replace the straw-thingy back on. This will make your liquid soaps last even longer. When you, or especially kids use liquid saop, they tend to just push the pump down and have way too much saop. This has worked for our family, hope it works for yours! Happy savings:D

    • Diane

bars are a waste.. the water hits them, they get soggy.. plus i’ve heard that soap like that can start to create bacteria.. plus it grosses me out to think that whoever showered before me rubbed it all over themselves, and then i’ll have to use some to wash my face or something lol.. body wash is way more hygenic! 😛

  17. Rebekah

where can I get the $3 splenda coupon?

    • fran

It was in the 4/17/11 SS (Smart Source) coupon insert in the Sunday newspaper.
For future reference, see at the top of this page, Collin has a Coupon Database. Just click that icon, enter the coupon you are looking for, and click search. HTH 😀

      • Rebekah

k, I looked. That one is one of the regional one’s I didn’t get

  18. Ryan

The Tylenol Precise items are $5.97 at Walmart for those who want to get them now. After the $5/1 coupon it’s only $0.97.

  19. Thu

Where is the dove body wash coupon? I can’t find it.

    • fran

Click the word “here” in Collin’s link above.

Use the $3/2 coupon previously available on Coupons.com or found here (new link, valid through 4/30!)

      • fran

There might not be any prints left according to next two comments. You have to be quick on the high value coupons. 🙂

  20. debra

dove coupon says i have already printed but i haven’t. wahhhh

    • Cheryl

      Me too…and I haven’t…oh well, until next time I guess! 🙂

  21. Leigh Anne

Can you pay for something with RR and receive RR?

    • Leigh Anne

I read back through and someone had already answered my question! Thanks!

  22. Alicia

Can you help me get the $3/2 dove coupon please? Thanks

  23. shoehoard

My Walgreens didn’t have the Dove products on sale. Nor was it anywhere in the circular. While I was at the grocery store I noticed full size Dove deodorant for $2.29 (not on sale) but with the $3 off coupon, I picked them up for .79 each. Coupon scanned just fine.

    • Lindsey

That’s a good price! I may have to do that – I LOVE Dove deodorant!

  24. olymama

FYI – I got two of the Lysol automatic handsoap dispensers on clearance at Walgreens last Saturday for $5.99 minus the $3 coupon, they were $2.99 each (Target had them on sale for $8 last week). Plus, I got lucky because they had a $4 RR last week which made them a $1.01 moneymaker! It pays to check out the clearance items! The only thing is I thought they would make it easier and more “fun” for my three year old to wash her hands, but I discovered she had used about a third of the soap and it was in a puddle on the counter this morning! I’ll put it away for now, but it is handy.

  25. Robyn

My Walgreens didn’t have the Dove bodywash on sale, and I even had the lady at the cosmetics counter do a price check to make sure… but nope, it was $5.99…. 🙁 I’ll look elsewhere in town later, but I was really excited about this deal. sigh.

    • Julie

      Hi Robyn,

I went to 2 Walgreens, one had it the other didn’t. It says trial offer on the bottle and it will not be displayed with the other body washes. There is also a big yellow sticker that says $2. I hope that helps. My Walgreens were just a couple miles apart. Good luck!

      • orientmom

if it wasn’t where the body wash is usually kept where did you find it ?

        • Julie

I found it towards the very front of their stores by cosmetics. They are sometimes on a small shelf. These seem to be left over from a previous promo they had, because not all the stores have them. They are close to the sunblock and are smaller bottles. Good luck finding it!

          • orientmom

thank you I will look ..

  26. Rebekah

I went over today for the Dove deal, and it was $7.40 ea…. bummer. Also am really shocked at the prices of Walgreens – they have the nivea body wash that we’ve all been getting for free from Target and Walmart and it’s $6. Makes me very wary of shopping there at all… guess I just have to watch the deals.

  27. Diana

I live in south Florida and the Dove is $7 and change at Walgreens! We were very bummed about this!

    • maru

I live there as well. I went to 3 Walgreens and nothing. They had the larger size at $7. They don’t have the 10oz size at all. 🙁

  28. Erin

I had the a problem with the splenda and stayfree coupons working on Sunday. The splenda beeped because of the price and the stayfree didn’t take at all. The cashier had to ask the manager if she could take the splenda coupon and she wouldn’t take the stayfree at all. My Sunday shopping experience was horrible at Walgreens. I hate those because they make you hate shopping there. It was strange because my cashier was trying to be so nice and rude at the same time.

  29. princesskeli

I noticed that in the monthly coupon book at Walgreens, the wording under the coupons now says “manufacturer coupon only good at walgreens”. Those coupons havent been working with my regular manufacturer coupons and they used to. Has anyone else noticed this?

  30. Tatyanna

BIG ops… coupon vs scissors. Has any one accidental cut a coupon??? of course its my $5.00 off Precise coupon and can not print another? Any suggestions?

    • bali

As long as you can tape it together and it scans, it shouldn’t be a problem…

  31. bali

Does anybody know if the Cottonelle deal works in a Walgreens TEST AREA?

    • bali

To answer my own question, yes it does work in test areas 😀

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are we going to need three $1/1 cottonelle coupons, or will they take one and take $1 off each product? I’m talking about the coupons in the walgreens store booklet

    • Laney

The book will automatically deduct $3 if you are buying 3.

  33. Julie

The Dove Body Wash is $7.99 at my store in AZ.

  34. Brandie

I live in Memphis, TN and went to Wags for the Dove deal and it wasn’t that price nor do they have the small one, however the clerk told me that we had that deal LAST week and somehow I missed it….bummer. And it would seem that we do not get some of the best coupons in this area, so if anyone knows of a good zip code that I can use to at least print some that would be great. Thanks

  35. Brandie

Also, Wags has the Gillette body wash by one get one 50% for $4.99 and there is a B1G1 coupon in the April P&G saver. No registered rewards with this, but still a good deal. I bought the body wash, 2 Clorox and 2 candy bars and used a $4 RR that I had and only paid $1.50 out of pocket.

  36. melinda

on april 26th, i bought 2 splenda and did not receive my catalina for $3….is there anything i can do….walgreens didnt know what i was talking about!

  37. Amie

My Walgreens is not allowing the use of IVC & MC for the same item…tried it with Tylenol Precise…left with my free collages and they can keep their Tylenol Precise!!
