I did GREAT this morning at walgreens. I love my store, the manager there overrides any coupon problems as long as I’m not trying to pull a fast one (and I never am). I got the scott naturals paper towers, 4 degree deodarants, 2 packs of orbits gum, the icy hot cream the listerine whitening I used all the coupons just fine except the icy hot beeped, because the coupon is for a penny over the sale price, but the manager just adjusted it down. i used $11.50 in register rewards i had so got some filler items (2 pencils and a big container of lemon head candy that was on clearance for 50 cents). after coupons and register rewards i paid $5.16 out of pocket and then i got $8.99 back in RR! So i made money today 🙂 the listerine did print two RR for me, i got both the $1 and $2 RR plus the $5 for the degree and the $.99 for the icy hot. thank you collin! 🙂

I asked the manager about the applied nutrition and she said the register was not taking 5 bucks off the calicum supplement only the ones on the picture. Also none of my wags had the Ritz crackers. I did get scott paper towels, the celsius drinks, the coffee and icy hot so good deals and RR!

    • jmartcougar

Also a lot of the wags didn’t carry the 75ft foil only the 70 ft. I did find one but it was ringing at 2.79 still they honored the 1.99 price.

      • Mackenzie

My two stores were completely out of the 75 sq ft Reynolds. One said I could use 3 25 sq ft instead but I told them I had a coupon and it says to exclude the 25 sq ft. I ended up getting rainchecks.

I’m feeling the frustration like a lot of you with the shelves being cleared out by the time I get shopping. I don’t shop on Sundays and by the time I get to the store on Monday morning most of the best deals are gone–very dissapointing!! Last week everything on my list to buy at Wags was sold out, so I ended up buying nothing–oh well. Hopefully they won’t be cleared out tomorrow because I need to roll my RR’s before they expire.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ask for rainchecks. My walgreens gives me rainchecks. When they finally get the product in, they don’t give me the rr back but take the rr off the raincheck price.

you are very lucky. At my store the employees are the one’s that wipe out the shelves and they refuse to give out rain checks on 2 day sales and on anything with RR!!! I hate my store i guess i will be driving an extra 15 miles to go to another one.

  4. bconghaile

I got to Walgreens at 10am and the shelves were bare of the Ritz crackers I was hoping to get, I tried a few other stores and all of them were cleaned out by 11am this morning. The store manager was apologetic and told me that one lady cleared the shelves of everything on sale from Ritz crackers to RightGuard and he was so sorry there was nothing left, and that they may be implementing some limits soon. Then he told me that limits might not work anyhow because one lady comes in with her six kids in tow and does seven transactions! So you never know she probably needed all the items she was getting.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was also at my store this afternoon and had the same thing happen to me. Once lady came in and wiped out the whole store. One of the clerks said that they have finally gotten ahold of the coupon policy in the store and she elluded to the fact that they will be telling this lady to shop elsewhere because she hogs all of the deals.

      • Julie

Why do they need to tell her to shop elsewhere? They just need to start implementing limits for everyone.

        • Michelle

They should be stocking the shelves better if they are constantly cleaned out of sale products.

        • Angela

Agreed!!!!!!!!! If everyone bought no more than maybe 4 of anything then there would be enough for everyone. I love great deals but I believe in passing those great deals on to others and love these sights that share great deals with me 🙂

  5. Anonymous

Frustrated with Wags! They have been out of the Proglide razors the entire month…said they don’t have in the warehouse. Coupon and RR expire on 31st. Ugh! No popcorn, Ritz, Foil, Our Wags has limits on everything – so I think it’s a matter of lots of couponers and not nearly enough stock on hand,

  6. heatherlovesfred

my walgreens didn’t even the crackerfuls in for the sale so i missed out on those, however i was able to score 12 right guard deodorants for a total of $2.38 (tax only) due to the sale and my coupons!! YAY!! 🙂
and also 4 aquafresh, 3 scunci hair ties, 1 tylenol precise and a popcorn for $2.58 plus $3.50 i had in register rewards from last week! i love my wags!! i was there last night at 6:00pm and able to score both weeks’ sales at the same time! can’t beat it since we only have one in our small area! plus my girls at cosmetic counter are awesome!!

  7. Vanessa

Rimmel nail polishes are on sale for 2 for $4 so after the coupon found on the rimmel facebook they are free!!!. Just picked up some now and the shelf was completelty stocked 😀

    Vanessa

  8. Jaclyn

As far as the AppliedNutrition triple calcium 90 ct $10 = $10 RR…..the $5 June Coupon Booklet coupon is NOT working on this product. Darn! 😉

    Hope this helps!

    • Jennifer Bent

it beeped when I tried to use it but the manager saw no reason why it should beep so he pushed it thru for me 😀

      • Jaclyn

Lucky, lucky!!! It seems like it should work for the product.

    • Melissa

My Walgreens took the coupon…the manager did a price over-ride and charged me five bucks for it…then I got the ten dollars back….Was very happy with this! They also let us buy Wheat Thins or Triscuits in place of the Ritz Crackerfuls and we still got the RR…..

  9. Kim

Questions about the Johnson & Johnson deal…
Where are everyone’s travel first aid kits? My stores do not have them with the travel items…are they somewhere else in the store? And do you pick up the first aid kit and it rings up free? or what?

    • cassie

I just noticed them today–they were on an endcap by the vitamins in our store

    • clm5775

I found the travel first aid kits with the other first aid stuff and yes the free one rings up free (or gift) cant remember

    • Angelia

Mine are on the very top shelf with the first aid stuff. I would look up and down, but deffiantly by the first aid.

      • Julie

Make sure you check the free first aid case before you buy it to make sure it has all the coupons. I bought one last week and somebody had taken a $1 coupon and put the first aid case back on the self. 🙁

  10. awoodham2008

I love the deals in this weeks ad! only problem is I went to 3 different stores to find the crackerfuls and they’re ALL sold out w/signs to replace with something else =/ But the paper towels are SUCH a great deal! Im going to edit my list and go back to try again!

Oh! and I didnt see it, but right guard deodorant is BOGO-free, and theres still a valid bogo-free coupon for it as well!!!

  11. Erika

I have a coupon for $1.50/1 Ritz Crackerfuls!!! I’m going to stock up today!

  12. Beth

So bummed I used the Scott’s paper towels coupons before and they haven’t reset. My husband uses paper towels like they are water…:(

  13. Sharise

I bought 2 bottles of the V8 fusion and got a $1 RR reward!!! So after coupon and RR they came out to $2 each! I love this stuff since my kids don’t eat their veggies very well.

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The reason many of the Walgreen do not have the crackerful is stocking issues with in the company. They had problems with the shipment coming in on time but are now supplementing other types of crackers such as wheat thins (at least mine is)

    • Mackenzie

My two stores said that because of the Holiday their trucks haven’t come in for over a week so that’s why they don’t have anything in stock for the 2 days sales.

  15. christi

my walgreens manager said the ritz crackerfuls had not even come in yet. and that the manufactor of it has such a great demand for it that they could not get them in and they may never get the crackers. i was bummed about that one.

  16. Grace

Had a great walgreens trip today…my wags had quite a few of the coffees and crackers that were substituted for crackerfuls…I rolled the coffee and cracker deal 4 times only paying 17 cent tax each time. I started with 2 RR from last week and finished with 2RR to use next time!

  17. Jennifer Bent

I found a coupon book at Publix (not sure if they’re in other stores) – Coca Cola 125 Years of Celebrating Fun. There is a $1 off 2 Dixie Ultra. On sale for $2.99 BOGO. $1 off 2 makes them 2/$1.99

  18. Dara

At my Walgreens in Southern California, I found a tear pad by the Illy coffee drinks
with a 75 cents coupon. So I paid $1.30 (5 cents deposit for the can), and
received the $2 RR! I hope some of you folks get lucky as well — keep an
eye out for those coupons! And thank you, Collin, for all you do.

    • Jaclyn

I’m in Southern CA too….were the tearpads in the refridgerated part? (Wasn’t sure if maybe they sell the coffees room temp too or not)

      • Dara

It was in the refrigerated area — near the individual
        Starbucks drinks and waters.

    • Annie

How was the $0.05 deposit work?? Do they take off $0.05 at checkout?

      • Dara

The extra 5 cents is added by the computer for deposit on the can.
But since I take my cans and bottles in to my local recycling center,
I wind up getting that money back!

  19. jmartcougar

There was a try me free rebate near the ensure on any 4 pack up to a $10 value here in Houston

  20. Whitney

At one Walgreens I got the $5 off coupon to work, the other Walgrens wouldn’t let me, but I ended up getting 2 for free and making $5. The Ritz were all out at both stores, but I could get the IcyHot, Illy, Scott paper towels, Max Colgate ($0.50 a tube) and Nice and Easy hair dye ($4.00, cheapest I’ve ever seen them). Retail $86, total after register rewards $15. It’s exciting that I’m finally getting enough coupons to be able to do all of these deals!!!

  21. sabrina

mmmmmmmmmmm i LOVE illy coffee! did not know it was sold at walgreens!

  22. Steph

Walgreens has been out of every single item I have been in to buy for the past 2 weeks. I go on Monday afternoons, so wish me luck for my trip tomorrow! I’m thinkin’ I may stop messing with Walgreens and just do CVS if this doesn’t get any better…

  23. Annie

For the Applied Nutrition this week, can we use the $1/1 coupon in the Vitamins and Supplements booklet? It also states “Applied Nutrition Supplements” like the $5/1 coupon in the June booklet, but I’ve read that the $5/1 beeps… has anyone tried the $1/1 coupon? Also, can you combine it with the $1/1 manu. coupon found inside the box (I found mine in the Anti-Aging one)? Any info would be great, thanks!!

    • Melissa

I used the $1 off today, along with the $5….the store manager did a price over-ride for it and I got back the $10 RR…..

  24. lisa

My store is out of the Infant Care qpon booklet. Does anyone know the coupon code # for the Walgreens diapers, I was able to use this one other time, not needing the actual qpon. Will be worth it to try again.

    • Beth

      Infant Care Book
      $2 off W Brand Diapers Jumbo Pack barcode says 000 000 028 448
I hope that’s what you need!

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was not able to use the Applied Nutrition in the June book. The manager tried it several different times and couldn’t get it to go through. I still think it should have counted, but it was still free and something I actually need.

  26. Kadie

Had a somewhat ok shopping experience at WAGS yesterday. When I inquired as to why all of the shelves were bare my store manager told me that due to the holiday most of the Walgreen stores did not receive a truck over the weekend and would be getting their shipments on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. I am super relieved because I have a couple of coupons that I need to use this first week of the month and i will be going back to score my deals on AquaFresh, Ritz and Right Guard. Check with your stores to see if they had similar difficulties with their weekend shipments.

  27. Beth

    Here’s a deal I did yesterday that wasn’t on Collin’s list:
    Degree Deodorant 4/$15
Use 2 BOGO coupons from 4/22?
    Pay $7.50
    Get $5 in RR
    63 cents each!

Does anyone know if I can do this deal again? I’m not really sure how it works when it says:Limit 1 coupon printed per offer. Because Walgreens does not have a card, can I do this multiple times or does it link it to my credit card? I’m not really sure but no one was touching this deal at my store and the shelves are full!

    • Grace

U can do again…but u can’t use your rewards to pay or it will not print out new RR.

    • marcia

You can do it multiple times but DONT use the $5 RR to pay for the deo again or you WONT get another RR … you could get $5 of other things that give RRs and use THOSE RRs for DEO. its the thing that makes WAGs a bit confusing 😛

      • Beth

Thank you! I didn’t want to do it multiple times if I wasn’t supposed to!

  28. Rebecca

Does anybody have the code for the huggies wipes from the infant care book?

    • Beth

      000 000 055 192
$2 off any one huggies diapers big pack or wipes 184-216ct. (applies to each item, my 6 were $12 off from this)

      • Rebecca

        Thanks! 🙂

  29. brigid

does anybody have sunscreen coupons they are not going to use?

    • Beth

I wish you would have said something yesterday. I threw them all away! :o( Grrr… we need a coupon exchange on here!

  30. Elle

I was at the gas station the other day and they had peelies for orbit gum $1.00 off 2 packs. just thought you might like the heads up while you are traveling this holiday

  31. Jody Tucker

Anyone know anythign about the Wags Summer Beauty Guide? I can’t fidn one and my store is clueless to what they are. Is there a Q code I can use for the cheapo BOGO Hawaiian Topic? Anything is helpful. 🙂

    • Valerie

I talked to the beauty counter today she said they would probably be out June 1st either at the beauty counter or the pharmacy. Hope that helps.

    • Jenni

I went in to WAGS today specifically to ask about the “Summer Beauty Guide” and the young lady told me this actually came out in March and was good March/April/May. I told her that was odd since that didn’t even include “summer” and she agreed. I’ll be anxious to see if one shows up. What I also noticed was that the Savings book for “May” ended on May 28th and the one for June BEGAN May 29th. Maybe it’s always like this and I just haven’t noticed it before. I didn’t buy anything in either so I didn’t try it out to check.

  32. Michelle

Shelves cleared of nearly every sale item in my store. booo.

  33. Rachel

Has anyone tried the aqua fresh toothpaste deal? If so which coupon did you print to work to get it free? Also where can I find the infant care book or do I just need a code. I’m looking for the code to get the walgreens diapers. Thanks to anyone that can help out.

  34. Crystal

My Walgreens has been having all the same issues but this week posted a new sign limiting 2 sale items per person and 2 transactions per person/day. It helps being able to find sales but then i have to walgreens jump in order to get all the good deals. Atleast there are 4 walgreens in my area so it just takes some planning on my lunch break and days off. lol Thx Collin!

    • Anonymous

I HOPE MY AREA DOES THIS SOON WE HAVE ALOT OF SHELF CLEANERS IN MY AREA SO IT WOULD BE NICE

  35. Melissa

At my local Walgreens, they took the Applied Nutrition Coupon and I got the register reward….So I made $5 for each one purchased…..The manager adjusted the price!

  36. Ann

I went to Wags today and found Skippyjon Jones Big Bones (kids book) for 5.98! These retail for 15 or more online. The book also came with a CD. My son loves Skippyjon Jones!

  37. Kelly

My cosmetics lady said Kraft (who makes the crackerfulls) only sent 12 boxes to our Walgreens, even though they ordered more than that. So obviously, they went fast. I was at the store at 8:30am on Sunday and they were gone 🙁 So was the Degree deodorant. So problems with the company shipping. But our truck was moved to Tuesday night, so I’m going back Wed since she reassured me there would be more deodorant!

    Happy Shopping!

  38. Crystal

Just a heads up! I went to Wag this morning for the Off clip on deal. I bought 2 off clip ons and a palmolive and was able to use (2) 2.00 Off coupons AND the B1G1 free coupon!!!!!!!! thats a cheap score! But you have to use the B1G1 last otherwise you get beepage.

  39. Kelly

OH and make sure some of you are paying attention to the sales flyer. The crackerfuls RR was only for Sun+Mon, afterwards they will be 2/$5 or something like that.

  40. Julie

Help me on this one! I purchased 3 degree clinical deodorants and had a B1g1 coupon from 5/22 I think. I had the girl try it because I wasn’t sure if it would allow the coupon. I bought 4 deodorants, 3 for $18 to get my RR $6 back and I bought the fourth one thinking I had 2 coupons…b1g1 free. I accidentally gave her a third coupon and she said oops I can’t use this one. Well, now I am thinking I messed up. I should have purchased 3 deodorants for $18, got my $6RR back and used three coupons giving me a total of 6 deodorants. Is this right or am I mistaking? That would have been 6 deod. for $12= 2 each.

  41. Hannah

My walgreens had some of the Right Guard deos with free travel sized body washes attached, so not only did i score my 2 free deos but I got 3 free mini body washes as well!

My Walgreens also had some of the covergirl mascara marked 50% off. I used the BOG1/2 covergirl deal(it worked with the mascara’s) then I used my 2.50 off coupon before it expired and got 2 mascaras for a little over $2
    🙂

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

and to clarify on bogo sales u may use bogo coupons or 2 coupons on the items if ur cashier is not taking them u need to call corprate we are supposed to take them as in the right gurd coupon or the clean and clear we get remibursed for the whole sale so we aint losing nothing but the rg bw is ringing 4.99 so u will have to pay .50 cause coupon only goes to 4.49 but still a good deal or u could get deordrant with it i think that ring less

  43. Angela

Thanks Beth for the Diaper and wipe bar codes….I am going to try and use them too. It is such a blessing to have such wonderful people trying to help each other out. Thanks Collin for all your hard work.

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to my Walgreens today to do the Hawaiian Tropic deal. When I got there I did not see the sun care coupon booklets anywhere, so I asked about them. The cashier looked at me like I was making it up and called the manager and he did not have a clue as to what I was talking about. Could this be a regional Walgreens thing? Anyway, so I was going to go ahead and do the deal anyway, and the “sunblock” they had only went up to SPF 12! That is definitely not enough coverage for me and my family! YIKES! So, I ended up walking out empty handed and frustrated, mostly because the did not have the coupon booklet. Anyone else have this problem?

    • jamie

We had them at my store and when the manager saw that it took 4 dollars off and it was a bogo sale she took all the coupon books off the shelve and said it wasn’t working the correct way.

      • Amanda

Just a heads up on this deal. It’s not exactly as posted above. When you get the “free” sunscreen (off the bogo deal), it deducts the amount of the sunscreen minus the coupon you paid.

        Looks like this:

        2 Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreens @ $9.99 ea
        minus (2) $2 manuf q’s
minus (2) $2 WAGS q’s (in summer guide booklet)
minus bogo sale (will only deduct $7.99….price of sunscreen minus $2 WAGS coupon)

        = $3.99 subtotal + tax (for two)

Banana Boat was same way. Paid $6.99 plus tax for two.

Not bad, but not as great as above deal posted! Just a heads up! 😉

        • mackyjane

OMG this happened to me earlier today. The cashier told me that it was because I used coupons but according to their coupon policy located online it says “When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.” So I payed the $5+ (I had a $2 RR that I used also that I bought with the $0.25 popcorn) and called the corporate phone number. The lady I spoke to was very nice and took all of my info down and said senior management should be calling me back by tomorrow. So I hope they can resolve this. The ladies at my WAGS said the coupon policy is changing everyday…especially b/c of the “Extreme Couponing” show on TLC. I don’t know if she really knew or not but that would really suck for the rest of us who AREN’T cleaning the shelves and buying stuff to last our families for 3 years and will never even use. Okay done venting. If anyone has a solution to this WAGs problem please let me know!

          • mackyjane

Okay, so I guess I kind of read that last comment wrong. My B1G1 sale with the Hawaiin Tropic ended up with me getting jipped $2, b/c the register would only deduct $7.99 for the FREE item instead of $9.99.

            • Cyndi A

I had the same thing happen at lunch today. When the total came to $6 I was shocked and asked for the manager. She explained that the WAGS Q comes off the BOGO and that is all you get deducted. Can’t do both. Oh well, $3 a peice is still a pretty good price!

  45. Jenni

When I went to my WAGS this evening I was going CRAZY b/c I had all these coupons that expired on 5/31. I had a B1G1 (up to $5.99) on Axe and wanted to see if it would work on the bundle pack that is on sale for $6.99. IT DID!!! I actually had (2) of the B1G1 and wonder now if I could have used BOTH together to score them for basically $1.00 each. I was disappointed b/c I could only find (1) of my coupons for B1G1 Right Guard. The young lady working was SOOOOO nice and told me she actually had extra coupons and ran back to her purse and gave me (3) more B1G1 on the Right Guard. I was thrilled and had to pull out a piece of paper to tell her about Hip2Save. She was so excited b/c she is trying to learn more about using coupons. I assured her that once she learns all Colin has to teach her on the site she will be hooked!

    • Anonymous

Beware this is what I did I showed many of the employees at my wags how to get the deals and I shared this web site and now the cashiers clear the shelves and by the time I go I find nothing!!!! And I know it’s them cause I’ve seen them doing this and they themselves have shared with me how they hide stuff for themselves and how they do this multiple times. And on top of this they refuse to give rainchecks on RR items 🙁

  46. Sarah

I had an awesome Walgreens trip yesterday!! I always go to the store on Tuesdays because of my schedule, so most of the really good deals are usually gone. But my Walgreens has put a “1 per household” limit on all of the “Free after RR” items, so I was actually able to score some! I did the pocket packs, Calcium Sup, BC Powder, and a Suave deal that wasn’t included in this post. It was buy $10 worth of Qualifying Suave products get a $3 RR. Plus it included the cheap $1 Shampoo and conditioners, So I stocked up! Then I rolled all of my RR to my next transaction for the diaper deal. But when I tried to use the diaper coupon from the infant care booklet it wouldn’t work. So My totally awesome cashier went in and manually adjusted the price on all 10 packs of diapers I bought! (And BTW I have 2 kids in diapers and got 2 extra packs for my niece…There were plenty of diapers so I didn’t clear any shelves!) Anyways I paid a total of 48.67 oop! That is totally awesome for $150 worth of merchandise!

  47. J.S.

BEWARE! I did the same I showed many cashiers at my wags how to shop with coupons and I shared this web site with them and now these cashiers clear the shelves by the time I go shopping I find nothing! And I know it’s them I have seen them do this and they themselves have told me they hide stuff to buy it at a later time and how they do this multiple times during the week. And on top of this they refuse to give rainchecks on RR items! 🙁

  48. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Am I the only one who had trouble with the Hawaiian sunscreen at Walgreen’s?? The gal rang it up, took my coupons and it came out to $8.63?? I thought all my coupons would have brought it down to $2.00? I am a beginner so I need some advice! Thank you!!

    • A

My total was $9 something the sunscreen was $10.49 and the wags coupon only took off $2 not Four

  49. Vicki K.

I used to love Walgreens. It’s also getting very frustrating because a couple of ladies clear the shelves on Sunday mornings. I go to church on Sunday so don’t get around to shopping until another day. I was just told it’s “first come, first served.” I love this site and am starting a group at our church to show some of the ladies how to save but don’t want them to waste their time and find no products. Limits would be great as I have to throw away my wonderful bogo Right Guard coupons because they expired and there was no product to use them on. I’m finding that happening a lot these days. Maybe I should start selling my coupons.

  50. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So I went to the Walgreens in the town that I work in,and was going to purchase the 2 – Hawaiin Tropic Sunscreen that is B1G1. So I was going to pay $9.99 for both minus the $4 from the Summer Beauty Guide minus the 2 – $1/1 MQ. I also had a $2 RR so I bought one of the $0.25 popcorns to cover that…so my total should have been $2.25 + tax. Well the cashier rings it all up and my total is $5+ after tax, and I tell her something isn’t right, that it’s too much, and her response is you have to pay tax…well of course. Well I tell her I’ll go ahead and pay for it and then I want to figure this out while looking at the receipt. Well it ends up that my B1G1 sunscreens (which are $9.99) only subtracts $7.99 for the free one and the cashier and manager both tell me that it’s because I used coupons. So after trying to explain to them with no avail I tell them oh well and leave. Well I call corporate and now waiting for senior manangement to call me back. Has anyone else had this issue?

Also, I was trying to buy one of those $1.09 clearance Sally Hansen nail polishes with my $1 off coupon and the coupon wouldn’t work. It was for any nail treatment but wouldn’t take it. Odd…had to put back nail polish that I could have got for $0.09 🙁

Let me know if anyone has had these problems and have solutions. Thanks!

    • A

The sally coupon is not for polish it is for treatment. The free sunscreen will deduct $7.99 not $9.99 so u actually dont get $4 of from the wags coupon
