I got 1 for $2 when i went back in to print a 2nd it was $1.50… just a heads up

    • mamabug

That’s strange. I just printed 2 and each were for $2 off.

    • Melissa

On the website there was a $1.50 and a $2 off coupon. I was able to print 2 $2 off coupons. Check back to make sure you didn’t print the $1.50.

Just wondering if anyone have used the coupon “Up to 75% Off Prescription Drug Coupon”. I have never seem any posts about it, but I printed it out and used @ Walgreens. Well, I don’t have health insurance so when I went to get my prescription, they actually put the coupon on my file and every month I get a 20% discount on my medication. 🙂

    • Sarah

I have tried to use one of those coupons on several medications and it actually ended up being more expensive than the price my pharmacy was giving me…which was expensive to begin with. It is certainly worth a try though.

      • Jami

I always ask. Ask what your price would be with and without. I also think that Walgreens is usually the most expensive when it comes to prescriptios. Call around to Costco/Sams, grocery store, Target…. you will probably be surprised at how much you can save by comparing the prices. A lot of Walgreens pharmacies don’t like taking coupons and they have misinformed patients on using them. (A lot of experience with this).

The Bayer Advanced Aspirin was $3.99 @ my Walgreens.

So ended up -.01. Add a chewable ($3.19) with it paid .20

Walgreen’s coupon policy states “When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accept one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s)” so does that mean you can use BOTH the May coupon and the ad coupon?

    • yessah

my manager let me do it because the machine didnt beap or give it any issue. He said “If it goees through, let it” Id try, worst they can say is no right? I did the deal 4x.

      • yessah

        *beep

    • Marie

Yea, I thought you can’t use both an in-ad coupon and a coupon from the May brochure

      • yessah

I dont know. She mentioned it above and i tried it and it worked. If the manager had no problem, I had no problem.

      • dropofrain

yes, you can stack them both. Got one bottle for free yesterday.

    • AngieJB

“When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.”

The in-ad & may coupon are Walgreen’s coupon(s). So they can be used together on a single item.

      • Camille

The in ad and May coupon booklet coupons have the red “W” and say “coupon Good at Walgreens.” It is my understanding that anything with a red “W” is a Walgreens coupon. How can two Walgreens coupons be used on the same item?

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

when I checked out the $1 off (May Coupon) will come off instantly (or at least it did for me). As its a “instant value coupon”. Whether or not u use the $2 off in-ad coupon. If u look at the quoted policy, it says u can use Walgreens coupon(s) on a single item. I suggest if u have concern ask a manager.

The in ad says manufacturer coupon on it. Found this out the hard way when I was denied using the IVC and my newspaper coupon. =(

    • Sarah

Yes you can use both..I asked the Store manager at my walgreens yesterday to make sure before trying it and she said yes you can use all 3 coupons on one item..i did it on 3 bottles and had no issue at all..i actually got overage! 🙂 and my walgreens NEVER lets overage happen. and they dont modify coupon amounts down either.

Wouldn’t you know my printer is out of ink…

Is anyone having trouble printing smartsource coupons. This is the message I am getting every time I try to print

I am competely confused with Walgreens. So if I was only to buy the Bayer at $3.99 with the $2 manufacturer coupon and the $2.00 off in ad coupon, it would beep because I am 1 cent over. But if I get a filler item, say a 20 cent piece of candy, it won’t beep? I just can’t seem to understand Walgreens. Help!!

    • Lindsey

Sometimes it beeps regardless if you have a filler or not. If it beeps, have them adjust the coupon down so there is no overage. Take a copy of the Walgreen’s coupon policy and show them where it says they can adjust a coupon to the price of an item. Walgreens can be tricky for new couponers. CVS is MUCH easier – no fillers needed 🙂

  8. Anonymous

You can use the coupon in the ad, the coupon in the booklet and the manufacturer coupon just make sure to have items it can roll over too

    • Charles

Our low dose is at $2.99, I have used my $1 mfg, in ad cpn, and monthly and the overage is $1.01 and it get applied to my other items.

  9. rachel

Can I buy 3 of the Bayer chewables at 2.99 and use 3 of the may booklet coupons in on transaction?

    • Charles

      Rachel – yes you can!
Whenever you scan this weeks ad and the monthly cpn book it automatically will do the discount times however many you buy.

    • Melissa

You don’t need to give the cashier 3 Wags coupons. Just 1 will deduct $6 off your order. You will need to give them 3 manuf coupons though.

  10. audrey

    only c $1.50 bummer!

  11. kelly f

The bayer is $3.19 at my store in New Hampshire. My father and father in low are both on a low dose aspirin program, so I LOVE these deals. I buy several of them when they go on sale like this and it really helps. $.19 for the low dose bayer is a great price!!! Thanks Collin!

  12. Camille

Yesterday I bought four bottles of Suave body wash. I used two bogo coupons from the Sunday supplement. The price on the shelf and the price they rang up was $2 each. When the clerk scanned the two coupons, it automatically deducted $3 two times. How could that happen? She did not manually enter it. I also got the $2 RR.

    • GQMama

Sometimes BOGO coupons are coded to take the maximum value (up to $3) off for you. I love those! If the store price is lower than the max. value, you end up with overage!

  13. jessica

I’m in need of computer ink so that i can print more coupons! :), anyone know of any deals on how to score ink for cheap or possibly even free???

  14. Alicia

Just a question. I was in Walgreens today. Tuesday’s are military discount days. I was informed by a manager trainee that Walgreens will no longer honor military discounts and give catalina register rewards. It’s one or the other. Has anyone else had this issue? I am so fustrated with the whole walgreens coupon confusion. Today I purchased the advil and thermacare deal and did not get my $5.00 register reward. the manager/trainee told me that I have to come back tomorrow and talk to the manager. Also, I tried to do the Off starter kit deal with a 2.00/1 coupon, the walgreens coupon and a bogo free coupon. They never could get it to work. I finally just gave up and left in frustration.

  15. ஐ♥Lydia♥ஐ

Hey I am triing to print the $2/1 for the bayer and it will not load for some reason, I even restarted my computer and everything I dont get it…i guess i might have to get the 1.50 cpn… has anyone else had that problems today?
