Is this a regional deal. last time that I went to petsmart for free nylabones the cheapest ones were around $6, same at walmart.

    • Carol_R

Me too. I had some $3 coupons and I couldn’t find any that were even close to being free anywhere.

    • Collin

It must be! 🙁 It seems prices vary quite a bit from location to location.

    • Betsy

You might try looking at the ends of the treat aisle (not WITH the nylabone display) I found these in dispenser boxes near the other chewable treats and in the dental care aisle…if you still can’t find them…hop over to Petco…they have the nylabone greenie treats near the check out for $1.49 here.

  2. Whitney

$2/1 coupons have also been in the last few All You magazines on one of the last pages. If you don’t buy something extra they’ll adjust them down, if you have 2 coupons you can get 3 treats basically for free.

    • Jess

Thanks for the heads up! My mags has $1.50 off one, works for me! I’ll use both!

    • Tara

I only had it in one of my All You mags. It was in July Issue for $1.50

  3. Amanda

I’ll have to try to get there tonight. Every time there is a deal like this it sells out fast!

  4. joeywishtoo

WooHoo!! My doggie’s gonna be so happy!! 🙂 Thanks so much!!

  5. Jennifer

I’ve never used coupons at Petsmart. I’m afraid lol

    • jmartcougar

They take coupons don’t worry 🙂

      • Betsy

Not only do they take regular coupons…they take Petco coupons as well

    • Tiffany

Don’t be! They were super nice, and I used to work at a Petsmart……their SOLE goal is to make happy customers! In our training we were even told you can return items from other stores that they don’t even carry!!! That way, you’ll be happy and buy something in THEIR store. Their goal is to make customers for LIFE and that way you won’t go anywhere else!! Take your coupons over….it will be fine!

  6. Cyndi

Does anyone know for sure if the overage applies to other items in the purchase?

  7. Liz

Last time I tried to use a coupon with overage item at PetSmart they wouldn’t let me. It was the $1 off the .99 cent cleaning products and I grabbed a toy too. I asked to check with the manager and they said they just did with another customer with the same coupon and he absolutely wouldn’t accept it. I don’t know if that’s just because my PetSmart is crappy (I only go there when I have coupons on sale items I can’t get elsewhere) or if that’s really the policy!

    • joeywishtoo

I think each PetSmart is different. Mine will do overage as long as I have another item to cover it. I called one day to see if you could stack coupons. The lady on the phone told me nope, you are only allowed one per item. While I was in the store later (getting the free cleaners – which we love btw!) I asked the cashier about stacking coupons. He said “I’d take them” 🙂

A few years ago I had these $3 off ANY size Purina One coupons, I had about 100 of the coupons, I used 60 or so in one trip on 99¢ bags, and used the overage on bird toys. I got the coupons from my local paper company that sells me extra inserts for dirt cheap, only 10¢ per insert back then! I went back the following week, the manager walked over and told me I was doing fraud and wanted to talk to the person who did that transaction the previous week. I clearly bought what was requested of the coupon, it had no size restriction, and used the overage on bird toys which are WAY overpriced at PetSmart and donated all the dog food to our Humane Society. I have a pet parrot and was glad to get the toys. I have NOT gone back, being accused of fraud, what a joke! I wish you all luck at PetSmart!

  8. Missie

Please note that the coupon states “Redeem ONLY by purchasing the brand size(s) and quantities indicated. That means the items pictured on the coupon. The picture does not include the single bone package.

    • joeywishtoo

But the coupon states any nylabone edible. Does the Redeem ONLY override any?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Missie, it says valid on any nylabone, that doesn’t mean it has to be what’s in the picture

      • Missie

If you read the Consumer area under the “any” it clearly states what I wrote about above and says that any other use constitutes fraud.

        • thewaka

Missie, I understand that limitation to apply to the wording “$2.00 Off any Nylabone Edible.” That wording would be the “size(s) and quantities indicated.”

  9. Kidsallgone

I used a coupon for a free can of dogfood, $5 off Wellness catfood, and $7 off a bag of dogfood. They took it with no problem and I even had my own personal shopper/helper (store employee)!

  10. kelly desorbo

    Thank you

  11. kelly desorbo

Thank you I know our dog will love this none!

  12. Vivian

FYI, most petsmarts will price match their online price. The single count bone is priced at $1.52 on their website.
    https://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3964764
Print it out and bring it to the store, the store manager will adjust the price down then you can use your coupon on it:)

  13. Anna M

How many can I use? It allows me to print unlimited but I don’t want to be doing something incorrect.

    • Apryl

I was just wondering the same thing. I have 4 pooches so I want to know if I can print multiple. I assume so since the link takes us all to the same place with I assume the same bar code on it.

  14. kidsallgone

I forwarded your post to my hubby and he came home with 4 coupons.
I asked him if he made copies because that was unethical and he said,” No, I just printed 4 from the page.” So I’d love to know about printing (and using) more than one.

  15. Anna M

I bought 5 tonight, three were .77 cents and two were 1.52. I paid <.62cents! I will go back for more!

  16. Vivian

I went with 10 coupons, got 8 chews($1.52*8=$12.16). Instead of adjust each coupon value down to $1.52, the store manager just took 6 coupons and applied $12 to my total. So I got 8 for $0.12 plus tax.
Even when it’s not on sale, the regular price $1.76, is still lower than the coupon value. So we’ve got plenty of time to take advange of this deal before it expires on 8/15.

  17. Trisha

I just left PetSmart and could not find the edible bones. What section did you find them in?!? I did find the chew toys on an endcap with the rawhide.

    • Vivian

They are not on the chew bone aisle where greenies are. I couldn’t find them at first, the store manager helped. They are in the dental aisle like where kong and medicine are. If they are out, they will be in stock again very soon. You can always go back before 8/15 to use the coupons:)

  18. charmedgirl14

I had issues using mine. I grabbed some of the $0.77 single packs (found them in a box sitting on one of the unused checkout lanes). When checking out, the clerk told me they were for the big packs and pointed to the picture. I said it says ‘any’ on the coupon. He then said he could use half of them, but not all. He then tried scanning them and they wouldn’t scan! I suggested he manually enter the coupon code and he said he wasn’t allowed to do that. After some consideration, he said he would just ring off the money as a PetSmart coupon. So I still had $0.23 overage off of each pack, which I applied to my other items. But, it still was quite the fiasco! Though I did get a survey for $3 off my next purchase on my receipt! 🙂

I would caution anyone considering these products for their dog to do a little online research. There have been numerous cases of “Nylabone products” causes gastric distress, choking, and even severe damage as a dog has eaten them. A co-worker of mine just over a year ago lost her dog following surgery to save her life. The dog had gotten ahold of a Nylabone from another dog next door to where she lived and she didn’t know it. The dog got ill and when they took her to the vet they found the bone had somehow done tons of damage and become lodged in her intestional tract. The surgery was invasive and cost thousands of dollars. In the end the dog just didn’t make it through. I’m not saying ALL Nylabone products are bad just be sure you know what you are giving your dog. After all they are a part of the family. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

    • Jennifer

Went to PetCo today (after trying a previous PetCo and PetSmart where they had run out) and found the singles for 50 cents. Manager said I had to get what was in the picture. I said that the coupon stated, any Nylabone edible. I asked him if he could just adjust down the coupon if he didn’t want to give me the full $2 off credit. He said, “I’m not going to give you these for free.” Guess I won’t be taking my business there anymore. Very disappointing!

  20. Rita

WOW…someone is actually selling a link to the pdf for this coupon for 1.00 buy it now…I want to report them but afraid they will then say the coupon is fraudulent. I was looking to buy some of the 1.50 off nylabone qs so I could use mostly those and just a few of the 2.00 off coupons…PEOPLE that do this stuff make it bad for all of us! What should we do in this situation???

My Petsmart would not let me use the coupon on a single dog chew. They said their registers were old and wouldnt be able to give me overage or adjust coupon down. They did try it several ways, but the register would not budge! Went home sad, my dog was looking forward to this deal! hehehe
