  Did you apply it over a SH brand or a different one? Just curious as I’ve purchased one but have wondered if it works as well if used on other brands.

  Bottom Line: the evaluator like OPI better (according to a post in her own comments section). I also saw a comment that crackles work better if you use random strokes vs. the way one normally applies polish.

  **If you do go w/SH, it appears the white and the pink produce the best results.

  Hmmm….did you use it over dry polish? It won’t crackle if you apply it over wet polish. Also, you should be able to “auto adjust” some of the thickness with the brush. If you can’t, just put a few drops of nail polish thinner (not remover) in it to thin it out.

  I’ve seen that echoed on SH’s own website (in the reviewer’s section) – sounds like OPI is the best bet.

    No coupon there for me-just a blank page-Hmm… I have the white on right now & love it. It did take a little to get used to applying as it is thicker than normal polish and you have to dip the brush more often (I’m sure this has to do with the “crackle”). As per the comparison to OPI-I have not tried it but since it is a salon brand I am sure it is a little nicer (but it is more expensive). Enjoy!
