I was able to get my hands on 3 of these coupons yesterday and they worked great! I bought 3 of the concealers 2 blushes and a mascara and paid .96!! I didn’t get the money back or pay 0… my calculations were a little off and I live in NY so the prices here are always a little higher than what is posted… but n any event I figured it was better to pay the .96 for some products I would use than get things I would not use even if they were free… anyway the coupons really worked great!

I get so stressed out anymore with the Sunday papers 🙁 I haven’t gotten any for awhile, but when I was going into town for them..the machines would be empty. At the early time I go..I’m thinking we have a “snatch and run” paper thief lol. Now..when theres a good batch of coupons..I don’t know what time to go..or where would be a better place. I’ve only seen machines around here. There MIGHT be inside papers at the truck stop. Might check that..if not, its 20 minutes away to Safeway for theirs at customer service. Just can’t trust no one anymore 🙁
Also..I was always buying just the Tri-City Herald here in Washington….and noticed some coupons missing because of regional. So a friend told me she also buys the Seattle Times. I started doing that during these “high value” coupons and they have always been in there! 🙂 But..apparently the Seattle Times does NOT carry Red Plum. So..if your from Wa. and don’t buy Seattle Times already..look into one and hopefully we will be getting that high value Covergirl coupon. PLUS don’t forget another paper (Yakima..Tri-Cities) for the RP 🙂

could you just subscribe to your paper (Sundays/weekends only?). At least where I am, a Sunday subscription is >50% off retail price. So if you buy a paper every other week anyway, you can get it delivered w/coupons to your door/mailbox for the same cost.
(Unless you mean you’re looking for more than one paper…then this wouldn’t work!).

I live in Yakima too. I want you to know that the Yakima Herald has a couponers dream subscription. $15 for 5 sunday papers a month. You can get more than one sub if you like. Also go to any of the stores in town and get the Seattle Times for $2 on Sunday. If you get there on time you can get the Seattle Times on Saturday for $1 at the Dollar Trees. Just to let you know there will be a ton of people there on the First Sunday of the Month since the Albertsons Double coupons are in that one.

Sorry if this is a double post. My first messed up and didn’t post 🙁 I’m stressing about buying a paper tomorrow morning. There seems to be a person(s) in town that is making away with all the papers on Sunday 🙁 I’d have to get up before the sun and try my luck again. Its about 15 minutes to town..and 20 minutes if I want to try Safeway for some papers.
Also..about the high value coupon…if your in Washington and don’t already..check into the Seattle Times for this higher value coupon. I usually buy another paper because it carries RP and Seattle doesn’t. But it also has the lower value coupon where Seattle has the higher value. Hope I get my papers tomorrow..and hope I get this coupon!!
Coupon is for face products only…if u see covergirl section at the store, its separated by categories, FACE, EYES, & LIPS….face category is basically powder, foundation and stuff u put all over ur face…eyeshadow is EYE category…hope this helps.

Oh, I thought may be someone found a low priced face product than posted my Collin. Anyway I will check my local WM and see what kind face products they have! Hopefully my WM will have these blush for this price at least!
Mr. Free is totally wrong. Please do not listen to people like that. Get the blush, foundation, bronzers or concealers. Don’ t wreck a great deal and take advantage of stores and companies trying to help you out.

I just picked up 20 on eBay to save myself some grief trying to get extra papers.
The way this coupon reads is EXTREMELY open to interpretation. I consider that it’s for foundation products. I am very glad to get such high dollar coupons for Natureluxe, etc. However, I am sure there will be people attempting to redeem it for all other Covergirl products.

The $8 coupon is in the Detroit area papers.
Yes, logically, your eyes are on your face but Cover Girl was contacted and they consider face products to be: Foundations, concealer, bronzer, powder, blush and face tools.
That still leaves room for saving lots of $.
I wish they would actually list this on the q. I know this is going to be a big fat beeper and my area is notorious for going by what is in the picture and not what the coupon says and I’m 90% positive this coupon will show foundation.
I bought the $3.74 blush and they did not beep!

Actually I got the coupon in Wednesday’s paper in my area and the coupon doesn’t show anything! It just has words on it that state, “Covergirl $8, save $8 on any two Covergirl face products” Hope that helps ya 🙂

Yeah, to be honest it makes me sad to see that people are planning to use it on eye products. Makeup aisles have been divided into brands and then into eyes lips and face for as long as people have been buying it.

We did. Yea, we got all 4 inserts. Went to WM yesterday, got the “cheekers” for $3.74 each ($7.48, 52 cent overage) and 2 mascara @$4.24 each. (paid 84 cents). Then went to Walgreens…got 2 eye shadow @ $3.49 each. Both places deducted the $8. No questions asked. Woo-Hoo, Thanks Collin.
cant wait to get on this deal realy hopin this is my paper tomarrow. But I think it may be an even better deal because my sales paper say CG blush is on sale for B1g1 50% so woulnt that make it like $ 5.61 with a 2.39 money maker. Or have I got my math all wrong?

Is anyone else wondering why the “F” is not capitalized on the coupon to signal users that it’s part of a category, like in some if their other advertisements. Because it’s not, it lends itself to being used for all facial makeup.

Hogansburg, NY and Rotterdam got it….1st place is on the Canadian border and the other is in the Capital area. 4 hours apart and both had them. Check the paper again!
This didn’t work for me. My walmart says I can’t use a coupon because the products are not adding up to $8. Is this true for all walmarts?

Print the Walmart policy for couponing and show them that they take coupons that are higher that the product and the rest of the money is applied to another product
Some stores will even let you use 2 coupons sence you are buying 2 products. So you can get $9.00 off if you use the other $1.00 off coupon. I know Hyvee and Walgreens do.
The $8 coupon is tied to TWO products, so you can’t use this one and another coupon on the TWO items. You’d have to buy three.
I cannot believe some people have such a moral dilemma with using this product on whatever Covergirl product they so choose. Seriously folks, you don’t know for sure this coupon is for “foundation only” or whatever anymore than anyone else because they were not specific. I used these this morning on some eyeshadows and eyeliners; not because they were the cheapest things on the rack (and they weren’t) but because that is the “face” product(s) that I would prefer to use. The coupons did not beep or indicate any problem whatsoever. This was Target fir those wondering. I don’t think fellow couponers should be spending so much time trying to make others look/feel like we are doing something wrong. Get over it!

I agree, I actually used these on lip products. Before I even checked out I showed the coupon to the cashier at Rite Aid and asked if the products would work for the coupons. She said Lips are part of the face so it would. The coupons didn’t beep at all. If companies are telling consumers they accept the coupons on the products we are buying I donj’t see why other people need to make others feel like it is wrong.
got it in the CT paper today, has anyone had trouble using it in Wags…I have had trouble in the past if the purchase is below the coupon price…my daughters sure would love some cheap/free pressed powder.

I went to Walmart the other day and bought 1 of the $4.84 blushes and 3 of the $3.74 blushes. Used 2 $8/2 coupons and paid $0.06 for everything, with no nasty beeps! I’ll take it!!
I sent my daughter and her boyfriend to the store last night and we wanted the eyeshadow its my weakness and it went through fine and at 3.14 each and adding a walmart employee discount, she bought 14 eyeshadows and 2 ben and jerrys ice creams, 3 bottles of pop and when she tried to pay there was still a 1 in overage and they paid her. Great day!
I love those coupons!!! I was able to use them on the CG make up sponges/pads. They were only $3.24 each which meant for me 1.52 overage times 4 coupons = $6.08 WOOHOO!!!!!! I only paid .86 cents for all my items with all my coupons.
Tip when using cashiers, I go to the men. They are the nicest and don’t refuse any coupon unless the machine refuses to take it.
Also, if you use over $40 in coupons they want you to split the transaction. If you have a nice CSM they will override it for you. I had like $80 in coupons with overage too!!!

Got the coupons yeah, but went to riteaid because of their deal, there products were so expensive some were as much as $3.00 more apiece than walmarts regular prices, I dont know if they marked them up for the sale or not, but their prices were ridiculous even with the sale!! I am headed back to Walmart!
I couldnt believe that the store had to pay me $7 when i was done using the 8/2 then the 1/1. My mother in-law just gave me her paper that had thoses coupons in it. I cant wait to go back, the make great stocking stuffers!!
