The wording on there is “no cash cost”. And you have to join American Family to get it. So what is it to join American Family? I’m assuming there’s a bill coming somewhere. I’m getting a little tired of signing up for “free” things and then getting bills in the mail. ๐Ÿ™

My email confirming my subscription says : Price: Complimentary. If that helps

  2. Kathi

Is this for new members only? It keeps telling me I’m already registered.

    • Renee B

      me too ๐Ÿ™ Darn!

Thanks Collin! I love this magazine and can’t wait to get it.

    • Coupz

You can try giving a new/different email address.

I kept skipping all the random additional offers, but now I’ve come to a “Free Business Magazine” offer and there is no where to skip. I wonder if I still get my free good house keeping?

    • Kathi

Yes, you will (or I have in the past). At that point, you can close the window.

    • Amy E

      Same thing for me…

    • Kay

I closed the window and still got an email saying I got the Good Housekeeping one

      • Donna

        Same for me..

  5. Lisa

Thanks! Signed both myself and my mom up. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Adrianne

      Me too!

  6. Cheryl

If I already get good housekeeping, will it add another year to my subscription?

  7. Celie

Thanks!! My free Good Housekeeping is about to end in a month!! This is great!!
Also, American Life (what you’re signing up for) looks pretty good. You get points for printing recipes off their site and playing games and shopping online, and you use those points to earn products in their store. I’m down with that!!

    Thank you!

    Expired ๐Ÿ™

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, I got an email, that said the magazine offer has expired :\ BOO! :)-

  10. Jackie

Not really free…there is a catch.

  11. Erin

Got an email immediately telling me quantities had run our so I wasn’t getting it. This happened the other day with Redbook as well. Oh well.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Got the same thing. Last time I tried for one of these I have been receiving bills from GH…so much for free.

  12. Aubrey

I completed the form and then skipped through the ads. When I got to the “free business magazine” ad, I closed the window like others had mentioned. I have not gotten an email yet and the subscription is not showing up in my order history on “my account.” I don’t think the order went through. Hmm… Did anyone else have this problem?

  13. Lisa

Darn, my e-mail said they are all out of this title! Maybe next time.

  14. babycakes444

I’m a little late posting, but thanks for another great post, Collin! I was too late for the Redbook subscription but managed to get this one ๐Ÿ™‚

  15. Emily

I am trying to get this deal. I signed up, but can’t find where to request the magazine. Is this deal all gone?

  16. Sue

Nothing on the site about Good Housekeeping, and none of the links on the site seem to be working.

  17. szo

I received one magazine before, but today I’ve got the bill to pay for the whole year. which is $7.97.
    Can I just ignore it?
