That’s the one I’m buying too (along with a much-needed comforter to get over $100) It doesn’t seem much different than the Special Edition one, except that it doesn’t have a backlit reservoir or a timer/clock/display on the top (which I wouldn’t need anyway b/c I don’t leave appliances plugged in while I’m not using them) All done from the couch…gotta love it! 🙂

It says 149. in mine but the total says 134.
Look in the total column to the right of your screen. Under the price column it will display $149.99 in red print, but in the total column it should say $134.99.
Thanks ya’ll…did finally see the $134.99 but the shopathome didn’t work for me & now it’s unavailable so didn’t get one. Oh well, we have the Platinum brewer but would like to have a backup since we’ve already had one replaced once. FYI anyone buying these, take special care of them…they DO malfunction and though they are warrantied, if you’re addicted to this machine like we are (lol), going without it stinks! =) Other than that, they are awesome and we won’t go back to a regular brewer if we can help it!
I’ve been thinking about getting one of these, but I’m not sure what the difference is in all of the models out there. There are so many! Does anyone know if you can brew regular coffee in these instead of using the k-cups all the time? We grind our own beans and wouldn’t want to give that up or have a separate coffee maker.
Yes they make an accessory called “MY K CUP” which you can put your grinds in and brew your own. We own this model and love it. My husband grinds his own coffee and uses the MY K CUP accessory. It’s normally only about $15 bucks or something.
yes, you can brew your own if you have the “MY K-CUP” – it’s a little filter. It can be a little messy but some sites sell little filters for it…we have some. Doesn’t look like this one comes with it, tho. =)
Beware of the My K Cup. It leaks like crazy & sprays water & coffee grounds all over the place. I’m sorry that I wasted money on it & Keurig customer service was less than helpful. I purchased the Solofil filter from Amazon & it’s so much better–no mess & brews great. There is also the Ecobrew filter.
Wow, now I’m really not sure what to do. I just read review for the Solofill filter and it also has plenty of negative reviews. I just know that my husband will mostly use it for his everyday coffee so I want to be sure we always have that option without a problem. Anyone else have experience with this?
I’ve used the Keurig brand refillable K Cup with organic ground coffee & it has never sprayed water or anything else like that. It works like a charm, but you do have to remove a piece & then place the filter in.
Honestly though, I owned my Keurig for like 2 1/2 years before I used it (it came with my unit). The beauty of the Keurig is that it’s easy, so I buy the K Cups. They are just so stinkin’ convenient. (I just wish they were compostable….they aren’t very eco friendly.)
I have the Platinum Edition Keurig & LOVE it! I haven’t had issues with water, leaking or anything. I had ground in my coffee once because I had accidentally thrown out the small filter that fits into the My K Cup filter {which you can purchase at Walmart for about $17}.

yes you can brew your own coffee. You just have to buy a extra piece which i think is around $10.00, but well worth it. The different models are just up grades. Some have a timer and some dont. Some brew large and small cups just different features. But over all my fav. buy so far I love my single cup coffee!!!!!
Whew, got it for myself for Christmas. Hubby was sitting here saying he’s going out at midnight and I knew what it was for so I had to share the deal with him. No surprise for me this year.

I signed up for shopathome.com back in October so the purchase at Kohl’s is my first for the cash back. Sure hope mine shows up! I just placed the order and am assuming it will take time for the order to process, then it show up. (??) Unfortunately not because Kohl’s doesn’t allow stacking of coupon codes for similar coupons. For example, you can’t use two codes that are both for “__% off”.
