Desire says:

Dawn Testa says:
Pretty easy one I got my husband involved, he can figure that stuff out better than I can. No cc was asked for. Just finished watching Horrible Bosses and it was great! We really enjoyed it, thanks Collin!

I figured if they limit the amount of free movies I’d go on first thing this morning and get my code, but their FB page still says yesterday’s code is expired, but they don’t give an option to get today’s code. Do you think it goes live at any time during the day for a limited # and if you aren’t at your computer at that moment then you don’t get one because you won’t know what time to be there??
Jim C says:
kind of strange… I wonder why would Best Buy would limit a digital download? It really doesn’t cost them anything. I can see come midnight that the next day’s movies would be available with the next day’s code.. but that isn’t happening either.
I wonder when today’s code will become available and for how long.
Nicole says:
Best Buy wants to market the service – not give everyone free movies. Having limited quantities creates supply/demand. I know I told a TON of friends about the freebie (I can’t imagine any of those people knew about Cinema Now before that – I didn’t). I got my free movie, but I did Best Buy a big service too.
MA says:
What is Cinema Now? I was unable to use the code last night, and of course this morning it is unavailable. I was wanting to download it to a DVD disk to play on LCD (or whatever) LOL TV. Will this work? Can you tell I’ve not done this before? Any other tips will be appreciated, too.
Thanks for your info.
Christine says:
It’s now 11-30 and it still hasn’t updated, was there a certain time that it starts again?
Britta says:
I was wondering the same thing!
Julie says:
I read that on another blog that it starts at 4 pm Central Time.
Melissa says:
Do you have to watch it on your computer then?
Kristine says:
Does anyone know when the code will be available for today?
Nicole says:
Well, just checked again and it still hasn’t changed, guess i’ll check back in about an hour
tina says:
the code for today is bbyfb2
Heather M. says:
Getting some “Server is too busy” messages. Site must be getting slammed. TItle for today include Wedding Crashers, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Terminator Salvation, Green Lantern, Watchmen, and Batman Year One.
Heather M. says:
Finally got the page to load, but the offer has expired for today:
“We have run out of supplies of our complimentary movie for today, and today’s promo code is now invalid.”
Nicoe says:
damn thats what i got too.. well guess i’ll check around 5:30 tomorrow
Jim C says:
Lots of bad mojo on the Best Buy FB page.
One of the worst promotions as it relates to operational performance…
Best Buy is offering 5000 free downloads for its 5,000,000 friends.
And.. those who are lucky to be on the computer when they release the code have an issue of server too busy. I was on and got to the section to “select” the movie and then the server crashed again.
Too much effort for a movie.. I’ll stick with waiting until some of the movies I want to watch are in the $1 rentals machines.
Nicole says:
Well dare I attempt again today..nothing so far is up..still the old expired one
Keli Ann says:
the new code still not up yet
