Hi. I just downloaded my free movie: Happy Feet with no problems on my MacBook Air using Safari.
I’m having the same issue… and even “Watch Now” won’t work because it says I don’t have the latest flash, but I do.
log back in and go to my libary it will be there
Make sure you are selecting Buy SD and not trying to rent.
It’s not an issue with checking out, it’s after it’s in our library that’s the issue.

I got the blind side, worked alright, but I cant’ watch online because “my creditcard is not on file” (which I won’t add) and I can’t even look at my library because it’s making me download some “roxio now player” to be able to watch it. Do I really need more junk in my computer or is Netflix just fine????
I have been really disappointed with Netflix. We still pay for it for some reason but they hardly ever have any new movies to watch instantly and I don’t think they have any of these on their instant stream so I think it is worth it:-)

Me too! I downloaded the roxio player with no problem. Didn’t have to enter credit card info anywhere on the site through this deal. I downloaded the movie in the player and it’s 1GB! So I might delete the actual download when the kids and I watch it.

I got an error code that said my credit card information is not on file. Do I have to give them my credit card number even though it’s not costing anything?

I didn’t have to enter cc, but did have to put my address.
I didn’t have to put in credit card info. I downloaded the roxio player and already started watching Happy Feet as soon as it was about 10% downloaded.

I did the same exact thing when I got the credit card info message.
Downloaded the Roxio Player and was set to go at 10% as well.
I entered one of the AMEX gift cards from CVS as my CC. It works! The GC doesn’t even have a balance. Thank you, Collin!
Thanks for the tip! I did the same thing with an old Visa gift card when it wouldn’t let me watch. I wouldn’t have wanted to enter a real credit card number since I wasn’t purchasing anything.

I was able to re-download it to my computer. I exited off the website and found an icon on my computer. Through that, I clicked on Movie Store. Then it took me back to my library and I clicked download now. It is currently downloading to the RoxioNow Player. It is SUPER SLOW, but downloading.
Is this a one time watch or does it permanently stay on your computer so you can watch it multiple times?

FYI – If you choose to watch it on your computer through the Roxio player you do not have to enter your cc info. But if you are streaming it through your play station 3 it does ask you to enter your cc info.
Can you explain how you streamed it through your PS3?
I can try….we just got this yesterday and my husband is the guru.
The first thing is my husband has it set up to where you can stream everything from his computer to the PS3…I have no idea how he set that up. But if you already do the same thing here are the next steps that we took.
I believe CinemaNow is an automatic option on your PS3. If you go to the TV/Video Services you can scroll down to CinemaNow (you’ll also see things like Netflix) When you select CinemaNow you’ll have to enter some information like your username and password (the one you just set up to purchase the movie) and from there you should be able to see a home page i believe that has Your library at the bottom. When you go to play it it will stop you and ask you to enter your cc info. I did this over the Internet, not from the PS3.
Hopefully this helps a little. Sorry I don’t really know much about these things.

My hubby is an IT security guy and says he wouldn’t download anything on Facebook… it is a good way to give your computer a virus! 🙁 Just a warning for you guys….
My Laptop freeze. I don’t what to do. I had to open Google Chrome.
You are not downloading on Facebook. You are downloading from Best Buy’s Cinema Now website, which is a secure site running https:// . My computer also scans all downlaods and everything involved was just fine.
This is not a download from Facebook.com. You are downloading a movie from CinemaNow, a subscription movie site that is associated with Best Buy. The movie is free using a code from Best Buy’s Facebook Fan page.
Where can I find the Roxio player download? I went to some site and it’s to buy some product, is this player free?
Player was free for me. Was just part of the prompts so maybe start process again.

Did not work for me 🙁 I have a Mac and was running Firefox. Was not given the option to download, just to “watch now” and then got the “credit card info not entered” when it crashed. Stinks to have filled out all the personal info only for this not to work. I’m bummed! 🙁

Still worked for me. I just went into the store and added then used the coupon code. I got the blind side just now.

Nevermind, it worked! They’ve gotten sneaky in that the movies don’t show up to purchase when you search them. You have to click on the rent option then on the next screen click on the link to buy it instead. Then add to card and add coupon code. That works!
anyone know if you can burn this onto a dvd after you download it to your computer?

I wondered if i can just transfer it to my portable drive, since someone said the movie is 1GB I don’t even know if it can fit on a regular blank dvd…

I went to down load and the site said it has expired and they were out of free down loads( 10:05PM) Just my luck. I’ll try tomorrowI guess.
it still works! you just have to search for the movie, add it to your cart and use the code NOV29. I just did it.
I have “purchased” the movie I wanted, but I cannot seem to figure out how to download it to my computer. I am only able to “Watch Now” and then the roxio player pops up. I am on a mac, so maybe this feature is not available for mac computers?
I have just talked to the customer service rep. Movies can only be streamed on Macs, not downloaded.

I just got on and tried the code and was able to get a movie…just go search for the movie that you were hoping to get, enter the code, and hopefully it will still work for you, too!

I followed a tip from their Facebook page. I was trying to get The Hangover, but the code wouldn’t work, so then I tried Horrible Bosses and it worked and is downloading now.
where on fb page do i search for the movies?
Anyone know how to stream it to Wii? Is that even possible?
CinemaNow is not available for Wii unfortunately.
