Kidkraft is a good brand. We bought one of these for my 7 year old daughter (4 at the time) and it has by far been her favorite gift. It has held up well and accomodates her Barbies much better than the actual Barbie house. Too bad they didn’t have this one at the time, she would have loved the stairs and door.
My girls have the older version of this. We did pay around $125-$150 for it-can’t remember exactly. It’s been well played with for a few years. I love kidcraft products & I really like their customer service. If I’m not mistaken they are an American company based in Texas.
We purchased a KidKraft Doll House last year from Costco with a much Higher Price Tag! This brand is wonderful! It works very well with Barbies, my girls play with it Daily. I would have rather had this House though, because the one we got has a elevator and I can tell that it is going to become an issue. Moving parts and little kids don’t usually mix well, they think they should move at top speeds. 🙂
