I believe that once you add the bag to your shopping cart, all of the items on the site will automatically be marked down to 50% off so you will not see any additional savings when you add them to your cart. Hope this makes sense!

Yes, I found that out the hard way. I should have waited and read all of the comments. Now I have an order that I can refuse when it comes! I wish they could make that very clear on their website, I’m a little slow, I need it spelled out before I completely get it!! Oh well.

i was wondering the same thing. At first i thought it was 50% off of what the reduced red price was, but the more i looked at it it seems to have the 50% off price listed already… so not as great as a deal as you and me would have hoped.

Got 2-cocoa butter lip care sticks, Hemp lip protector, Candied ginger lip balm, Cranberry joy lip balm, Cranberry joy great big soap with a bag for little over $29 shipped. They may have sale for holiday items, but it will be in next year and the free ship code will be expired then, so got them now. I have very dry lips and love their cocoa butter chap stick!

So frustrated with The Body Shop right now! I took advantage of the Buy 5 and receive 50% off promotion they ran back around Dec. 10th. I received notification that my order shipped on Dec. 15th but never received it. Today, I received an email stating I received a full refund with NO EXPLANATION as to why I never received my order. I called customer service and the rep was SO RUDE. She agreed to honor the price I had originally received on the order but told me I would have to order at regular prices, have my credit card billed and then wait for a REFUND on the difference between prices. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? No thanks! I’ll just go to Bath and Body Works for my bath gels! I was so disappointed in the customer service I received!

Sorry to hear about your experience. Please reconsider supporting The Body Shop. They do NOT test anything on animals ( can’t say the same for their competitors) and support so many worthy causes. We need more companies like this one around

Bath and Body Works does NOT test on animals either – it’s on every single product of theirs so you shouldn’t say that you “can’t say the same for their competitors”.

No, the Bath and Body Works products say “this finished product not tested on animals” which means the ingredients WERE tested on animals. Plus the products from BBW often has nasty chemicals (including parabens) in them that The Body Shop doesn’t use.

By the way, I happen to have a couple of brand new, “paraben-laden” Bath & Body Works products sitting right here with me and they all have the words, (and I quote), “NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS”. They do NOT say “the finished product not tested on animals”. Also, check out PETA, that little operation that stands up for the ethical treatment of animals. PETA endorses Bath & Body Works as a company that does not test on animals. You’re welcome.

I used the code this morning and although the bag didn’t give me 50% off, I still was able to get free shipping, no minimum. I ordered 5 minis for $10!
