Beware of these “starbucks” products. The coffee is good but the canister and mugs are NOT Starbucks quality. They are dollar store stuff. We used our two travel mugs a week and had to toss them out because they leaked so bad. The canister I ordered twice and both times it arrived broken.

Any idea what size the coffee is in the coffee/canister set? I’m guessing it’s a 12 oz bag.

It’s funny, because all the ones remaining at our store with the canisters …the canisters we’re broken, every single one of them :(..
The ones with the cups, however, seemed sturdy. They did look like something from the dollar stores, but I know many ppl who have had luck with their dollar store mugs. Id say for 2 one dollar mugs, a $3 coffee, and $1 basket. The deal is worth the $6 shipped to ur home 🙂
I ordered two of these about two weeks ago..both coffee canisters were cracked and chipped and I was told that if I wanted to exchange them it would be in January before I got them..so I returned them to the store and got my money back..extremely disappointed and the coffee bag is teeeeeeny tiiiiiiiiny!

They were $13 now down to $9. I used some of the money I had left from my walmart egift card from the Norelco rebate deal. so paid only a little over $12 for 2 sets.
I’m not a coffee drinker so please excuse me if this is a silly question… how long does coffee, in an unopened (presumably vacuum sealed?) package last?

The coffee will expire by next christmas.
The coffee would have a use by date before next Christmas so you wouldn’t want to give it as a gift.
true – if you’re giving as a gift – the date would freak some people out – but can personally be used longer than that!
Buy the sets – take out the coffee and save them for gifts next year and replace with new coffee!

The coffee will not last that long, but you mentioned scented lotions as well and I wanted to let you know that if it is a high quality lotion (like Bath & Body Works) the quality of the lotion and its scent will last for years! I worked at BBW for ages and that was always a question people had. I still have products that I bought years ago that are in great shape today. Hope that might help. I know we all like to get the good deals when we can and save for next year! 🙂
I disagree. I think if kept frozen it would be fine next Christmas.
I made my own baskets this year and it cost me $7.00 with everything included. If I can find a beautiful gift less than that…it’s a deal. I bought 4!

Does anyone know when the target clearance will go to 75%?
I found this online: “Based on prior experience, 50% off from 12/26-12/31 is typical. January 1st markdowns usually go to 75% off, and then a few days after that 90% off. Last year, my Target store went to 90% off with their Christmas clearance on January 5th.”
My Target still had Christmas at 50% off and toys at 30-50% off when I was there about an hour ago…
Years ago it used to be 4 days after the holiday it was 75% off. Now, you never know! I called today and they said they didn’t know. I know one of the Wal-Mart stores in my town is going 75% off tomorrow (the lady checked with management).
I would call first thing tomorrow morning when Target opens to find out if they are or not.

starbucks workers even say that the coffee is good for 2 years past it’s “best by” date – for sure on the Via’s. I use some way past date and they are completely fine!
Better if you freeze them if you have room!
I agree with you that coffee can last past its sell-by date. I think people were just saying that they might not give it as a gift it since the date on the package would make it look “old”.
