Awesome as always, Collin 🙂 Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome! 😀

  2. dave k.

fyi – YMMV but was told our Rite Aid will be doing their final Christmas clearance mark downs starting Sunday. They’ve been 50% off since a week before Christmas and have hardly moved anything – especially with other stores being more aggressive..

    • Ashley

I am hoping Rite Aid goes to 90% again this year, but the goodies seem to be already gone!

  3. Lisa C

I think the Neutrogena Coupon may be gone… I printed two yesterday from another computer…Not seeing any today!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am not seeing it anymore either. I just updated the post.

  4. Sonata

I’m not sure what the link is, but you can watch the OB Tampon video for a $2 off coupon. Pair two $2 off coupons with the $1 off 2 in-ad coupon, and the tampons are FREE!

    • Christie

      video is gone 🙁

      • Ana

Flip the card and watch the video. At the end you can print it. “I’m sorry” is just the name of the video.

      • Sarah

I just did the video and printed 2 coupons. You might want to try again. Try the link below that someone posted 🙂

    • Ana

Yep. I don’t use them (will give to my sister) but am buying them anyways because they will count towards the buy 100$ get 20$ +Up rewards. With the ProNutriens vitamins/Playtex (last week) and Bengay/OB deal this week it is pretty reasonable to reach.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! Just updated the deal scenario. 😀

      • Monica

Hi. I have a question about the OB tampons deal scenerio. Has anyone tried to get them yet. because alot of the 1/8 SS coupons now say: one coupon per person instead of the usual one coupon per purchase which possible means you cant use 2/$1 SS coupons now in the same transaction. Is this true? Because alot of other products have the same wording. I understand you can just get the $2 coupon from their site and combine. But im wondering more about the general application. Will they scan/accept 2 of the same SS coupons with the new wording on them? Anyone know or can help clarify that be great. thanks

    • Lori

HA HA That video is hilarious! I thought they were saying sorry for being out of coupons, so much to my surprise and delight I got those too at the end.

  5. Nita

That seems like a really really good price for Arm and Hammer laundry detergent? Because I usually get Tide for $2.99?

    • Brenda

      Nita,
It figures out to be .04/ounce which anything under .05/ounce is my stock-up price, so it looks great to me. Also, if anyone has issues with sensitive skin they make a variety that works great for my sister.

  6. Amanda

Aww the Renu $5/1 coupon says it is no longer available. 🙁 I’m super bummed!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn! Just updated the post.

  7. Carrie

In So cal I did this deal yesterday. OB Tampons are $2.50, use the $1 off 2 in add coupon and the (2) $2 OB coupon that shows at the end of the video and the Tampons are FREE.
https://www.obtampons.com/apology (THIS VIDEO IS SO FUNNY)

    • Amanda

Haha thanks for the share! That video was great!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Carrie! Just added this! 😀

    • Nancy Young

thanks for the link! you are right, this video of hilarious!

    • Tracy

At first I thought they were apologizing because all the coupons were gone. Glad I watched til the end though 🙂

      • christa

Loved that video, played it with my kids names too.

  8. Andrea

the Renu Multi-Purpose Solution coupon says no prints 🙁 was hoping for some cheap solution. Thanks for the matchups so early!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I just updated the post.

  9. Ana

Can I redeem the free haircolor for JOHN FRIEDA (value up to 12.99$) at Rite Aid? Or is this a violation of their 5$ max coupon policy?

I would love to redeem it here (have 2) so that they can count towards the spend 100$ get 20 back promotion.

    • Kat

Yes, but you might want to wait until 1/22 because it will give a $2 UP reward 😉

      • Ana

What to do what to do…. I could get the sure thing 1/22 or be ambitious for the 20 +Up. Rite aid is my fav. drugstore!

        • Karen

since the 20 +up goes until the 28th, I’d hold onto them and use them for the bonus ups!

    • Tarin

I was able to redeem mine there. I thought that there $5 max was only for internet printed coupons?

      • PG

Yes, Tarin is correct. The $5 limit is only for printable coupons. 🙂

  10. Ana

On more question. Can you use the in-ad coupon more than once per account? (clip it from 2 different adds – of course). I mean in 2 different transactions.

    • mouni

Yes , you can but not in the same transaction.

      • Ana

thanks! Does that mean I can do the OB deal 6 times and get 10$ back? That seems crazy!

    • jenn

I’ve sent this info. to two different coupon sites and posted it on here (I think) and someone told me it was a scam??? I mailed my rebate out on December 5th and when I check the status it says processing. I hope it works, because that does make it a really great deal.

      • PG

It’s hosted on the Theraflu site. It’s not a scam, but a lot of people are unhappy with Novartis (maker of Theraflu) right now because of the recent Prevacid rebate and the mess that made of it. Maybe the sites you posted it to were saying it was a scam because of that. Lots of people are leery of Novartis rebates now.

        • Susan

Can you elaborate on the Prevacid rebate mess? I haven’t received my rebate but haven’t heard anything about anyone having problems. Would love to know…

          • PG

            Susan,

Apparently Novartis originally had their rebate administrator process checks for our actual out of pocket cost. If you paid $2 after all your coupons and +UPs were applied, that’s the amount your check was cut for. As people began receiving them they began to complain and file complaints with their states’ AG. Apparently Novartis went back and is reissuing those early checks with the price the item rings up at on the receipt minus the $4 coupon most of us used.

They told me they also received a much larger submission volume than they anticipated. They said they were still processing checks and couldn’t even give me an ETA for my check.

I really don’t like dealing with companies that aren’t on top of their promotions.

            • Subu

              Hi PG,

Could you please let me know what number I should call for my status?

              Thanks
              Subu

            • Barb

Please pass on the info to me too. I sent my request on 9/19 but havent gotten my check and cant find where to look for the status. THanks in advance!

    • Amber

I just got my rebate. It takes awhile.

  11. tiffany

I cannot get the video to work. The card opens and it’s just blank, I can hear noise but that’s it.

      • jenn

I wasn’t able to watch the video using firefox, when I tried with Internet explorer I had no problems.

    • Susy

      Tiffany,

What do you mean by the “shelf” price in your above scenario???

      • PG

I’m not Tiffany, but she’s stating the shelf price because the item will be cheaper for those of us with a discount on our Wellness+ card. 10% off for silver and 20% off for gold.

        • PG

Sorry. After re-reading I think my answer was not clear. To clarify:

Those of us with a 20% Wellness+ discount will pay $4.23. People with a 10% discount will pay $4.76. Those with no discount will pay $5.29.

  12. stacy

    can anyone print the aleve??

  13. neysha

there is a garnier vv coup for $1 off so grand total $1.99:)

  14. Carrie

Why do you keep using coupons on free products in BOGO sales? This has been strictly against rite aid coupon policy for several months now. You can only use one coupon per PAIR.

    • Margie

A little testy about it aren’t we? How about Collin is helping YOU out by posting these. If you see a mistake, perhaps KINDLY tell Collin about it. Doing so many of these every week, I can see how things can get confusing or mixed up. Perhaps a little compassion would be good…give the same compassion you receive…just like respect.

      • DeAnna

Amen Margie. Also Carrie, according to Rite Aid’s policy, a BOGO coupon can be used along with one coupon for the purchased item. Furthermore, in a BOGO sale, one coupon can be used in conjunction with the sale, even if it is for an amount for buying two. I hope you will appreciate Collin’s very hard work and attention in the future.

Thanks Collin for all you do!

    • Tc80

Wow Carrie you should ask for a refund from this site…oh yeah it’s free! If you don’t like the info move on.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Carrie!

I am a bit confused with your comment as I do work very hard to follow the Rite Aid Coupon Policy, and I am aware of the fact that only one coupon can be used on a BOGO sale. With that being said, I am human and do make mistakes so please let me know if there is a particular scenario that is not correct. Thanks!

      • Tracy

I was wondering about the Arm and Hammer detergent, BOGO? And you use a $1/2 coupon for that? I do appreciate all the work you do to help us save money. I’m not sure I’m smart enough to come up with all the deals you do and I’m probably a bit lazy about it too since you do so much of it for us 🙂

        • Tracy

Can you use. Sorry about the typo.

      • Stacey

I think she might have been talking about the Citracel scenario where you are using 2 of the $2 MC on the buy one get one free sale but definitely could have worded it a lot nicer 🙂

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Stacey! I just made that correction.

    • amanda

That coupon wont work, the coupon is for a 2 count or higher, the one free is a 1 count

    • Melissa

      oooo! thanks!! 🙂

  15. TheHealthyCouponer

Wait…my mistake. The coupon actually prints out for the 2 count, even though it says $3 off of any on the ThermaCare website.

  16. Melissa

wouldn’t it be a better deal for Trident gun if u used the Jan VV Q with the 1/8 MQ ($1/3)?

  17. robyn

nothing happens for the O.B. video (just sits there with birds chirping) and the aleve coupon isn’t printing. anyone else??

    • TheHealthyCouponer

The video did the same thing for me. Wait a little while longer. It’s loading your name for it to appear in the video. No worries 🙂

      • robyn

it’s been over twenty minutes and still nothing!

  18. Marina

TheHealthyCouponer, how long did it take for ob video to load for you? I am sitting here and waiting for 15 minutes already 🙁

    • lizard

The video does not seem to work on Firefox. If you are using firefox, try another browser.

      • Traci Bidwell Lauritzen

I am using firefox and just watched the video. It took a few minutes to load. I kept clicking on the card per someone else’s suggestion. Hope that helps.

  19. Katie

the fine print on the Netrogena rebate says that thte $30 has to be met after discounts are applied…bummer!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm…I do see that in the fine print. I fine the wording really confusing as I am not sure if this just refers to store sales/discounts or if it also refers to coupons?

  20. fawn

just a reminder to all. Starting this month Rite Aid is suppost to be enforcing the no using +UPS until 6am the next morning. I guess it has been a rule the entire time but some store over looked it but now corp. is cracking down.

    • Ana

How can they enforce that? I have my +UPs in an envelope. As soon as I get it, I tear it and put it in that folder. Say I do one transaction then go back, get the stuff and then do another transaction. I usually just pull out the UPs. Unless the +UP is attached to the receipt, how would they tell what time I got it? Usually it does mention the promotion, but that would require the salesperson to remember if the same promotion was running in previous weeks.

Just seems kind of an odd rule with not much to gain from it. That is money off, that will get used anyways in that store, what does it matter what day it gets used?

    • jewel

their facebook page says this is not accurate :O)

      • jewel

Rite Aid ‎Candra Long, Elizabeth Schroder: All register receipt +UPs can be used on your next purchase – you do not need to wait until the next day. Unfortunately, there was a typo on our pamphlet. We apologize for any confusion. Thank you.
        Wednesday at 10:09am · Like · 6

    • fawn

It does state it in the pamphlet (but most cashiers have been letting it slide) and when I went this week the cashier said they had had a meeting about it and was going to start enforcing it. I don’t know how but I think they will just not allow you to take the +UPs from trans 1 and us it on trans 2 and so on. My cashier was just wanting to give me a heads so I thought I would pass along the info.

  21. Ashley

All the OB tampon thing is saying is turn up my speakers 🙁 How long is it taking for you guys? Thanks 🙂 and thanks for the deals 😀

    • Ashley

nevermind, got my two coupons 🙂 What I did was when I typed in my name (Ashley) it wouldn’t load but when I put my nickname (Ash) it went through 🙂 super funny video 😀

  22. Karen

Can’t you use the $1/1 coupon in January AllYou Magazine toward L’il Critters for an even better savings?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep, thanks Karen! Just added it. 😀

  23. Sarah

hello =) thank you for the matchups, i truly appreciate it. for the 10+ UP rewards for purchasing 30$ worth of items, do i need to do it all in one transaction? or can i do it in 2 transactions? For ex. 1st transaction total is 20 and then the 2nd transaction total is 10, would that still work to get the 10+ UP rewards?

    • DeAnna

The register keeps track for you all week. So you can take as many transactions as you need to get to the $30! HTH!

      • Sarah

        thank you so much =)

  24. Rachel

Sorry, this is kind of off topic… Does anyone know when the Diaper sales come around?? I remember last summer/fall that Rite Aid (and Walgreens) went back and forth with the Huggies and Pampers deals. If I remember correctly… with coupons and +Ups I was able to get jumbo packs of Huggies for around $4-5 each.

Does anyone know when this will come around again? Or does it cycle? I’m due in 7 weeks and REALLY need to stock up on diapers. I was planning on getting a ton from family, but they got me an off-brand that I really don’t like, so I told my Mom to keep those for when the baby comes to visit. I really want to stock up on Huggies!! I haven’t look for the sales until now.. are they doing them every couple weeks? Or is it a monthly thing throughout the year??

    Thanks Ladies!!

    • Lacy

I would like to see the diaper deals come back but they really have not been great. Plus I’ve not seen any Huggies coupons for the new year. Typically they rotate the sale from Huggies, Pampers and their store brand but it only works out nicely when there is a video, Ups and a coupon.

    • Sara

You used to be able to sign up with Kimberly Clark and they would mail you coupons for huggies. Not sure if they still do that, but it’s sure worth a shot! If they don’t, try emailing them and asking them for some coupons, some companies will do that 🙂

    • Carol W

Man no kidding! We are looooooong overdue for a good run from Kimberly Clark at Rite Aid. I seem to recall last year we were all buying diapers off Amazon at this rime of the year and the huggies deals didn’t start ratcheting up at Rite Aid until the spring. Well, my stockpile is down to nothing and I don’t see any hot deals in the near future anywhere. 🙁

      • Unknown

Save up your Huggies Coupons because the sales that you all are talking about are happening next week!

  25. semiextremecouponer

In regards to the L’Oreal deal, the ad states it is on Magic Lumi Primer, Voluminous False Fiber Mascara and Smoldering Eyeliner, Infallible Shadow, Color Riche Balm and Nail Enamel. I’m in So. Cal and went yesterday. I bought the Concealer mentioned above and it rang up as $5.37 on sale from $8.95 and was not included in the Up Reward.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Woops! Thanks for catching that! I just updated the deal scenario.

  26. Hannah

for anyone buying the cfl bulbs there is a 50 cent vv coupon also from December

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just keep in mind that you cannot combine both the in-ad coupon AND the Video Value coupon for the purchase of one item as they both start with RC49.

  27. Shan

I love the ob video. It was kind of nice having a song sang to me 🙂

  28. stacy

odd why cant i print bricks coupons??

    • Ashley

they will probably make you update your coupon printer thing on your computer, keep trying until they give you some install page 🙂 That’s what happened to me

  29. Sherry

off topic.. has anyone got their Previced mail in rebate yet?

    • Joni @ Truffle Pops and More

Nope and I’m getting nervous that it would come. That would be awful!

      • Joni @ Truffle Pops and More

Won’t come, not would come. Oops!

        • PG

They’ve had major issues with that rebate. Initally many people received checks for their actual OOP cost only (so, if you paid $3 after using +UPs and coupons your check was for $3). They’ve had so many complaints that they’re re-doing the checks for those people. When I contacted them they said it could still be 6-8 weeks before the rebate checks are mailed to the rest of us.

          • PG

            typo: initially, not initally 🙂

            • Sherry

              Thanks for your input.

    • Andrea

I contacted them one day last week. They said they are mailing checks out this week and next. They referred to them as waves 2 and 3.

    • Beth

I received a $2 check (OOP) so I was planning on calling to complain. Yesterday I received a $16 check (the correct amount!). I didn’t have to call to complain! Great customer service! I hope you all receive your checks soon!

      • melony

I got a check for $3.99. I tried calling but was on hold for 50 minutes and gave up.. I hope that another check is on the way.. Thanks for the info!!

  30. Alena

Collin, we can not use a coupon on the free item, right?
And here you want us to use 2 coupons.
Hershey’s Single Serve Candy or select Gum Buy 1 Get 1 Free
    Buy 1 Trident Gum $1.29
    Buy 1 Orbit Gum $1.29
    Total After B1G1 Free Sale = $1.29
Use the $0.25/1 Trident coupon from the January Video Values
Use the $0.25/1 Orbit coupon from the December Video Values
    Final Cost $0.40 each!

    • Alena

And here – a coupon on the free item
Citracal Buy 1 Get 1 Free
      Buy 2 Citracal $13.99 each
      Total After B1G1 Free Sale = $13.99
Use 2 $2/1 coupons from the 1/1 SS
      Pay $9.99
      Get a $5 +Up Reward when you buy 2 (limit 4 offers)
      Final Cost $2.50 each!

    • Dana

      only one coupon per set

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Alena. Just corrected the scenarios.

      • Elizabeth

My RA lets us use a coupon on both items in a B1G1 Free sale!! Got mine this morning for $2.50 each and I got the $5 plus up.

  31. pl4ygiirl

does any1 else OB coupon come out very light on printing?

  32. Dana

the Citracal has been pulled as misadvertised,,,,,, as a Rite aid store manager we had to print the sorry advertised wrong today to hang up,,,there is no $5 up reward

    • Lori M

Thanks for sharing the info. I had Citracal on my list, so will cross that off. You have saved me frustration.

  33. Nancy

Sarah, it’s been my experience when you have to purchase a total amount of money – in this instance $30 to receive the $10 up, yes, you can break it up. The only time I believe you can’t is when it says purchase 2 for $7 and receive a $1 up. Then you have to buy 2 of that item in one transaction. But for the J&J $10 up, I’d bet it will track on your receipt giving you all week to reach the $30. Hope this helps you. 🙂

    • PG

      You’re right, Nancy.

Dollar amount deals always track (in other words, “buy $20 worth of ABC product get $5 +UP”)

Quantity deals never track (in other words, “buy 2 ABC products, get $2 +UP”)

  34. Karen

Anyone know why when I spent over $30 on Ziploc bags (after my 20 discount and $1/2 coupons) that I only have $11 credited towards the 100 for the $20 +ups?

    • Traci Bidwell Lauritzen

I would contact corporate and ask them that question. They have always been really helpful to me in answering questions and fixing mistakes. It could be just a computer error. Hope that helps!

  35. Kabby

Collin…I have a question in reference to the 10% discount I have as a Silver Status Customer..if I purchase the OB tampons deal…will the 10% come off making the OB $4.50/2…then will I be able to use the in ad coupon (-$1.00) and the 2 $2/1 printable(-4.00)? This scenario would have an overage of .50 cents. Would Rite Aid adjust a coupon to still allow the item free? I am new to this status…and need clarification. Thank you for all you do for us…I greatly appreciate it.

    • Wendi

If the sale price (2/$5) is GREATER than your 10% discount, you will get the 2/$5 price. I’m quite certain 2/$5 IS better than 10% off. So, no, this wouldn’t provide “overage” and the fact is, Rite Aid does not allow overage 🙁 But way to think about all the possibilities. Creative thinking is part of what makes a good couponer 🙂

      • dani

rite aid does accept overages… just make sure you have other stuff to cover the overage… last night i bought pronutrient vitamins and i had an overage, it made it so i was able to get some free physicans formula make up for free!!!

        • PG

The register might allow you to get overage but it’s against Rite Aid’s policy. Cashiers can get in big trouble for not catching it.

    • Janine

I have been told you don’t get your 10% off on sale prices. They will automatically add discount on REGULAR PRICED items. not sure, but you can double check. I hope this helps. 🙂

    • Kabby

Thank you ladies for your responses…greatly appreciated…so the 2/$5 was a sale price…which because it was a greater savings than the 10%, it prevailed…so yes, I was able to use two coupons for Free OB tampons. Thanks again.

  36. Ronni

I have $5 +Ups that expired yesterday….does anyone know if Rite Aid stores will still accept them?

    • Karen D.

I think it depends on each store, my Rite Aid will take them if it is just a day or two expired. Love my Rite Aid cashiers always friendly and helpful. Most of them want to know the deals so they can do them as well.

      • Ronni

        Thanks Karen.

    • lovedeals

It depands on the cashier or manager. My store takes it. Yesterday I used my expired +up (forgot those in the shopping bag). This was my first time using expired +up.

      • Amanda

Gosh I didn’t even know I could try. Darn! I just threw one away yesterday that I’d misplaced. Luckily it was only a dollar, but still!

        • bestcee

Mine won’t take them – None of the 5 stores between dh’s work and home will, or ever have.

  37. Stacey

Has anyone tried the Bic razor B1G1 coupon in today’s insert along with the Bic B1G150% off sale? I just did and they wouldn’t accept my coupon because they said it is not valid until 1/9. I’ve never heard of this. It doesn’t indicate that on the coupon. Any thoughts?

  38. Karen

Not sure about everyone elses ad’s but here in CA, majority of the in-ad coupons are also manufacturer coupons… can’t be combined! Bengay would not be $1.49, OB Tampons would not be free, Stayfree carefree deals ect. Most of the time in store ad coupons are rite aid coupons, not this time 🙁

    • Meghan

Per Rite Aid coupon policy you can combine the in-ad coupons because they begin with “RA49” even though they say manufacture coupon on them. Regular mf coupons begin with a “5”.

  39. micheleleigh

My in ad coupon for the OB tampons also states manufacturer coupon – 🙁 Still not a bad deal with the OB site coupon for $2 off each.

    • Kabby

That is a rite aid coupon..my UPC # starts with “RC49……..” my circular also shows on the ad to “see most sunday papers for additional savings”…more evidence that this is a stackable Rite Aid coupon. Good luck!

  40. Amanda

For the Arm and Hammer deal, for those of you who don’t have the coupon from the All You Magazine you can go to the Arm and hammer website, sign up at the savings center and print $1 off of 3. Not as good as the All You coupon, but still not too bad!

  41. Tiffany

lol the o.b. video made me laugh… too funny

  42. katie

Went to 3 Rite Aid’s today, They have toys, stocking stuffers, decorations, and candy for 75% off. The toys that were $7.99 before Christmas are only $2 now. I stocked up to donate for next year. The gift packs are still only 50% off. I had a cashier at each store price scan them for me just in cash.

  43. kristy

if i buy 2 products and use a ad coupon will it take off of both products or just 1?

  44. Todd

Just a heads up. The Aleve Printable coupon is for 80 ct or larger so will not work with the scenario given.

  45. melony

That was a funny o.b. video!! Wish that there were still coupons.. I got “Sorry, this coupon program has ended”

  46. Shannon

I keep reading over the Neutrogena rebate form and I do not see where it says $30 after coupons. However, I have been known to miss the fine print.

    • Steph

It doesn’t. I was the one who gave Collin a heads up about them saying it’s $30 AFTER coupons and UP Rewards(or RRs, etc.). The only reason I even called Neutrogena was because of the recent problems with the Prevacid rebate (see comments above). Neutrogena is sticking to their guns about it, too. Nevertheless, it would have been nice if they had been clearer about what they intended, rather than just stating “after discounts.” I’m sure there are a lot of people who have misinterpreted that one.
