    Sweet,I didn’t know I had reached $5 in my SS account and just cashed it out for an Amazon GC. Love that, THANKS for sending me over there!

    If you have reached the 10 or 20% off at Rite aid, this could be a moneymaker.

    • Carol_R

      Thanks for reminding me. I’m at the 20% discount there so it would be a better deal at Rite Aid for me than CVS.

    I thought that savingstar coupons were considered manufacturer coupons so that they can’t be stacked with another manufacturer coupon. Am I wrong? Better deals if I am 🙂

    • Carol_R

      No the Savingstar coupons are applied regardless of any other coupons on the product. Once you reach $5 in your Savingstar account you can get the money.

      Carol is right, you can use the Savinstar coupons regardless. I use a manufacturer coupon and use my Savigstar “coupons” together often. However, the other day I noticed on the Savingstar site that it now says this;

      “SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services’ coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer’s coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem.

      In the future, we may implement mechanisms to limit the combination of SavingStar eCoupons with other manufacturer coupons.”

      • JoAnna

        So they work in combo with manufacturer coupons but it is not fully ethical to do so. I will not start using them together then.

    I used the $2 coupons.com coupon and a $1 Eb from using my green bag tag. Paid a $1.00 oop and should get $2 in my savingstar account. So I made a $1 buying the magazine.
