What’s better than free pancakes?! How about free pancakes that also help a great cause!

Today, February 28th, from 7AM-10PM, consider heading over to your local IHOP Restaraunt to celebrate National Pancake Day. In honor of this yummy day, each customer will snag a FREE short stack of buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, IHOP asks that you consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other designated local charities. Head over here to find a participating IHOP location near you.

Fine Print: Limit one free short stack per guest. The offer is valid at participating restaurants for dine-in only while supplies last and it not valid with any other special coupon or discount.

Last time I went to IHOP the whole place smelled like bleach. Employees were vacuuming the carpet, while people were eating. The place was just disgusting… it just looked filthy. The plates were chipped and the food…. I have never had worse breakfast food in my entire life. They should train their employees at Cracker Barrell. The bacon was chewy, the eggs were soaked in oil and the hashbrown wasn’t very good either. And their famous thing – the pancakes… let’s just say Ive had better. Sooooooo disappointed.

OOOhhh! Nice. So if I bring my kids with me can we each get a free short stack? We’ll donate of course.

How much is a good donation amount? I don’t wanna pay too much kinda defeat the purpose to get a freebie, but still want to help out… BY the way it’s 2 adult and 3 kids.

Roxy, we have had similar experiences at IHOP so we only go once a year for the freebie bc it’s for a good cause (plus my kids love pancakes and it is a meal I don’t have to cook lol). It’s a fun event and my kids enjoy it. Shanshan, I usually donate $5-10 for 1 adult and 2 toddlers. And a $3-5 tip for waiter/waitress. So we spend around $10 for the 3 of us.

i went there for my b-day and got salmonella poisoning. It was reported to the local health department but it can be hard to prove the point of contraction. I will never eat there again.

I’m sorry I can’t explain further, but I would respectfully ask that people do not support this business. I understand the point is that the funds are “supposed” to go to the CMN. (Yes, there is a reason I’m using air-quotes) If you search around the internet enough, you may be able to read between the lines.
