Is Facebook asking any of you to verify your account with a text message from them? Annoying for those of us who want to have a COUPON/FREEBIE page….bc they will not let you log in until you have completed this. I have entered my number but no text arrives. Do most of you have facebook “alternate” pages too?

Yes, mine did that too. It’s some kind of security feature that they want to make sure we only have 1 facebook account per person. It’s really not fair that they assume that everyone has a cell phone and one that can text.
Mine didn’t come through on a text message either, so I used my husband’s phone and it worked that time, but my teen son wants to sign up for facebook and now I used all of our cell phone #’s trying to get mine to work that it won’t let me reuse a # for him. I don’t like facebook. I wish the companies would stop putting all of their freebies on facebook.
