Um, I tried it and was able to upload a pic and submit, but I just realized I think you have to have one of their beers in your photo 🙁
I did not read that anywhere. It just had to be an outdoor picture, I believe.
I got an email confirmation (in my junk mail) stating this:
“What happens now? Well, now that your image has been uploaded – a dedicated team at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico CA, will review your entry. What are we looking for? We just need to do a quick check that there are no minors or other beer brands or anything obscene. No big deal, but depending on volume of entries it might take a couple days. Once your entry has passed review, it will be published to the gallery at http://www.PaleAleCan.com. You will receive an email so you can share your entry with all your friends! Please add ‘no-reply@sierranevada.com’ to your safe-sender list so that you are sure to get the message.
At this point, we will begin processing of your free shirt! When it ships you will receive an email from us, so you know it’s on its way!”

How? If in the disclaimer it says no pics with alcoholic beverages?

Happened to me too, but then they sent me an email saying the entry was submitted. Did you check your email?
Oh wait, never mind. I did it again when it wasn’t being so slow and a little screen popped up saying that it was received. 🙂

Yeah, you’re supposed to have a Sierra Nevada beer with you in the pic you submit. So, we’re going to destroy this website, and not get a shirt anyways. Unless you have a pic of you and a SN beer, don’t bother – they’ll reject your entry (read the confirmation email).
No you dont, you just cant have a Coors light beer or some other brand on prominent display.

I couldn’t do it on my iPad, took forever to load and couldn’t get it to upload a pic. got on the MacBook and it went pretty smooth! Thanks 😉

“What should I take a picture of?
Cans are perfect for the outdoors. Show us how Sierra Nevada enhanced your outdoor adventure! Just take a picture of you with Sierra Nevada. Could be in your backyard or on a trip. Famous places are great. We’d love to see you at Mt. Rushmore or the Alamo. Smile with it, balance it on your head, juggle it, whatever – get creative!”

Here is what it says in the FAQs– just before what Ashley quoted (I do not see the bit about having to have a beer):
What do I have to do to get a shirt?
All you have to do is upload a picture of an outdoor experience that Sierra Nevada sweetened. That’s it! As long as you are eligible, of course.
What shouldn’t I take a picture of?
Glad you asked. Please do NOT feature any minors in your image. Do NOT feature any other beer brands. If you are actually consuming (drinking) Sierra Nevada in the picture we can NOT publish the image to our site (per responsible advertiser guidelines), but we might still send you a shirt, though. Please do NOT take pictures with Sierra Nevada where alcohol is prohibited (like some parks, for example).
Sierra Nevada is in my home town! This is a great giveaway 🙂
It keeps telling me my photo failed to upload! Argh! I’ve tried like 10 times!
If you look at their picture gallery, all pics have beer in them. I think you need a picture of you holding beer.
First it said upload failed then it just went back to main page- idk if it worked or not.

All the pictures currently in the gallery show people with Sierra Nevada beers — I submitted a picture without one, but I’m now thinking that it won’t qualify.
