They also have some men’s swim shorts on sale for $12.00

My daughter wears a 14/16. What size would that be in these dresses? Medium maybe? Please help!

    • Megan

XL. Juniors sizes are Target runs small, and typically, 14/16 is an XL in any size.

I recently bought a summer dress from Target/them I m normally wear a 14/16 womens size and I bough a Large in junior summer dress. Fits perfect..

    • Jessica

That would be a Large. Medium is typically 8/10

    • leslie

      sizing is as follows
      xs 4/5
      s 6/7
      m 8/10
      l 10/12
      xl 14/16

      Also note that a girl’s l – xl is roughly the same size as a junior’s xs/s.

    • Bobbi

If she wears a 14/16 in misses, she will wear an extra large. I wear a 14 and I usually wear a large, but the juniors sizes run small, so she would need an extra large.

    • Christina

It really depends on the person. I wear 4 in pants but there is no way I could wear an xs in a top. I wear mediums. For 14/16, I would go with an extra large. If it doesn’t work out then return to the store and Try on the dresses to find the correct size. And as the other person said, Target does run smaller than most.

    • Maria Day

She would be a large or xlarge in juniors, anyways it really depends on ther person, you would be her best guess.

Shop at Home is also offering 6% cashback – if that will work with this deal. I only wanted one dress, but I also ordered 3 swim separates for my girls and got 15% off plus the other 5% for using my Red Card. Only $28 for all 4 items shipped! Thanks!

  4. Jolie

  5. Christine

does anyone know if the striped dresses would be good for a pregnant person? is the fabric breathable… dresses are the best way to go in spring/summer, I’m due in June, and wonder if this dress would look right??

    • Lisa W

I was thinking the same thing! I’m due in August and really need to get some summer dresses. At this price, it’s worth a shot. You can always return it.

    • Alea

I would guess not, because it doesn’t look like there is a lot of extra material to stretch out in looking at the model in her dress.

I got 9 dresses for me and my stepdaughter for 92.00. Yeah she will love them. We live in Florida so these come in handy all year. ( didn’t have much of a winter, it was 90 in febuary)

  8. toma

WOW WOW WOW!!! I just ordered my daughter the dress, bikini top, bikini bottom, and my teenaged son a pair of swim trunks all for 32.00 SHIPPED!!!! YAHOO!!!!

  9. Helen

Some of Target’s knit dresses (not cover-ups but actual dresses) are VERY sheer. I would imagine something meant as a cover-up will be especially sheer, buyer beware.

If you use your Target Checkcard you also get an additional 5% off and if you are a team member you get your 10% discount also. Great deal.

I bought 4 of these 2 yrs ago and they washed and wore really well. I wore them Constantly and they are still going strong. The length is long. I’m 5’6″ and these came to my ankles . They weren’t sheer in the least bit. I’m looking to get more . Paired with a crop jacket and some spanx leggings, this makes for a perfect outfit for work, school, gettogether, shopping, beaches, etc. 🙂

    • Alyssa

Ps, not talking about the chiffon ones…

  13. yoyo

any idea what size if normally womens size 2 or small? also, i’m expecting in the fall…
    L or XL?

    • Kylie

I’m 9 months pregnant and even so, I would still order a small or medium.
