Rite Aid Deals 4/15-4/21
IMPORTANT: Rite Aid recently made a few changes to their Corporate Coupon Policy. In my opinion, the most notable changes are as follows:
* Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item. Customers can use up to two coupons with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion, provided the total value of the coupons does not exceed the selling price of the two items combined.
* Rite Aid will accept internet/print at home coupons up to the equivalent value of $5.00 off . Yeah! The $5 limit is no longer stated meaning you can use internet coupons of any value. 🙂

small comment, Swiffer Dry Dust Cloths 16 ct., etc. for $2.99 without coupons is the best price I ever see these going for, IMHO should be in red 🙂 Also there is a $2 off 1 any swiffler in the P&G sampler coupon booklet that is mailed if you happen to have it.
I was wondering about that one myself too..it does have the Swiffer extender pictured and states “one swiffer” so i might try it but not too sure if it will work ..i hope so because I have 3 of them q’s!

Does anyone know why coupons from the Sundau inserts aren’t scanning anymore at Rite Aid? The past three weeks, they’ve had to be put in manually. I called Rite Aid CS three weeks ago about this, and I guess they STILL haven’t fixed the problem. Other stores have no problems scanning Sunday insert coupons… only Rite Aid.

Luckily, I have a coupon friendly store nearby so I haven’t had any issues, but I would like to know what’s going on!
There is another store nearby, but I haven’t bothered to shop there because of the scanning issue. They won’t take any coupon that doesn’t scan.
I was told after my 2nd trip to a different RA on Saturday as the poor kid not only had to enter all my coupons manually (yeah) but then had to hand key in all my UPs that they are in the mist of changing their system. They are getting new registers so it has disrupted the ‘lines’. I sure hope this is true and will bring improvement!!!
I wish that Rite Aid had at least 1 price checker in every store like CVS.

It depends on the store/cashier. Most will not let you use more than 1 in-ad coupon in 1 transaction. However, this UpR deal should be tracking so you can do multiple transactions, use 1 in-ad coupon per transaction and still earn the $10 UpR.
I’d call you store and ask. The one I shop will allow more than one store coupon per transaction 🙂 I just called and asked kinda like how walgreens coupons are. They take off the amount for all that are purchased instead of just one.
Recyclebank has $2.00 Johnson naturals coupons, making them 99 cents. They also have $2 off Aveeno Baby products.
There is a VV coupon for the Viva. April VV $1.00. Not a great deal but will help if you have to have them.
When went to do my deal on the dove they at Rite Aid the told me that my bal. with couopns had to add up too $25.00 to get the $10.00 UP’S . did anyone have this happen to them ???

The same thing happened to me. It came to $27 before coupons and the UPs didn’t print. I talked to the manager and she looked through their coupon policy book and couldn’t find anything about having to be after coupons. I also told her tha I had done the Kimberly Clark deal several weeks ago and it had worked with the before coupon price (she had helped me out on that one and remembered me) We also noticed that there was nothing on the bottom of the reciept stating how much I still needed to earn toward the reward so we figured that for some reason it wasn’t working in their computer system so se refunded me $10 cash!
I went to Rite Aid today and bought 6 Ziploc bag products and 2 Shout pre-treat spray. I used 2 $1/2 Ziploc coupons — only had two, even though I bought six Ziploc bags and then on the Shout, there were $.50 peelies on them, so I used those. I only expected to get $5 +UP for Ziploc and $2+UP for Shout — but I ended up getting a $2 +UP for Ziploc AND the $5+ UP that I expected. In addition, my store just got catilina coupon machines yesterday (the cashier told me) and that printed out another $2 catilina to use in Rite Aid. I think I can use it for anything, as it says “Save $2.00 on your next shopping order. Thank you from Ziploc Brand Bags”….And of course I got the $2 +Up as expected on the Shout. So I spent 21.84 out of pocket (with tax) and received $11 in the UP rewards and the one catlina – so without tax, my average per item is $1.12. I haven’t couponed in a LONG time, I have just been so busy with work, kids etc — so this was a nice welcome back to the couponing world 🙂

Just a ‘heads up’ on the Nivea deal. I bought 4 Nivea women’s body wash (since I get the 20% discount, they rang up $4.79 instead of $4.99) and I got back 2-$1.50 ups, and 2 – $5 ups. So after 4 – $2 coupons, it was a $1.84 MM.

I do and it made the men’s body wash ring up at $4.39 and the women’s $3.79, making it $1 short for the deal. I bought 2 Men’s (Active 3) and 2 Women’s (Touch of Happiness and Touch of Sparkle) and received 2 $1.50 UpR’s and 2 $5 UpR’s.
I bought 2 womens and 2 mens and i only recieved 1 5.00 +up. How are you getting two? The monthly deal said buy 15.00 get a 5.00 +up. Am I missing something here?

Honestly, I have no idea why I got 2 $5 UpR’s.
My store only had the one $5 UpR signed on the shelf. Perhaps it only works on certain flavors? Maybe it was a glitch in the system that they have fixed?
I got two 5’s and two 1.50’s. I think it was 5 for the 15.00 deal, and then when you get to 20.00 it tacks on another 5 for that deal?

Be sure to sign up for emails. They send daily notices on sales and coupons. But their mailers via US mail are like quarterly — not as often. I will check to see if I have my mailer still and advise via email. Also, you can ask the store manager for help. See if you can re-register as a new mother and get a welcome package w/ coupons. Enjoy your new baby! How exciting! 🙂
I just scored nail polish for $0.25 a bottle.
I both 2 sally hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear. One rang up 2.99 and the other rang up 1.50 I used two 1 dollar off coupons. Payed 2.50 and got a 2 dollar up.
Not sure if there is a difference in other regions of the country, but my ad has Zyrtec on sale for $18.99 making it $11.99 after coupon.
I personally think the Softsoap Liquid Handsoap refills are a great price – no coupons needed. 2/$5 plus get a $10 +Up Reward when you buy $20 worth (limit 4 offers).

I was just looking at the Rite Aid ad for the week and I saw Mr. Clean 28oz and Magic erasers on sale for $1.99. If anyone still happens to have the Gather Together P&G home mailer, there are $1 off coupons for both making each only .99 cents. I could always use cleaning products, so I plan on stocking up as I have 4 or 5 booklets.
