Does anyone know how much are the strips and if they are also on sale? I got 3 today to be donated to a women’s hospital abroad and I would like to add enough strips so that they are actually useful for a long time. Thanks Collin! 🙂

Amazon has the pk of 50 for around $30. Not sure what they are in store =( I too bought a few to donate to our local American Diabetes Association.

    • estela

in the cvs ad i think the strips are $4 for the 25 count

      • Lacey

In my ad, it’s “save $4” for the test strips…They normally retail for around $1 per strip. So, a 25 ct box would be around $21 with the sale. (They’re quite pricey!) HTH!

You might want to check if they use the same type of blood glucose measuring system. In Europe and other Middle East countries they use completely different system – mmol/L instead of mg/dL. So, US meters might be useless there. I would donate them locally.

  2. steph

meters are alway cheap. its the test strips that are a rip off.

  3. tracy

Do any of the boxes have a mail in rebate on them to make a money maker?

  4. Robin

If you buy them from the pharmacy without a script they are $165 but with insurance usually $30 for 50 strips. These are the cutest meters out though 🙂 I have a pink one and will def. be picking up a new color now.

  5. Karina Koji

we picked up 5 today to donate to our local senior center!

Went to Walgreen’s today and they would not let us use the both coupons for the mini meter. They tried putting the coupons in different ways and it would not accept them. They said it was because the coupons were more than what the meter cost.

We may have to add a filler item at walgreens then, The item is 19.99 I coudl see the register beeping for the penny. If you ass a clearance item or candy it should work 🙂 GL

      • Amy Chapman

        add not ass LOL oops

    • Julie

It worked great at my Walgreens but heads up that there are two or three different coupons for the meters in the book. The first one she tried was for the Delica, which didn’t work, and then we found the one a few pages back for the Mini. HTH!

    • Anna

At Walgreen’s they’ll have to adjust down the manufacturer coupon to $9.99. Some stores won’t do it. Bring the coupon policy with you.

  7. Janell

I picked up two purple ones yesterday at Walgreens will no problems. My daughter has Type 1 diabetes and wanted a purple one.

    • Patti

Glad to see that someone will actually be using one!!

      • LoriSaves

My friend’s son has Type 1 diabetes and I got two meters for him…finding someone in your community is the best way to donate these- senior centers, nursing homes, shelters, etc do NOT want these usually

  8. Anisa

I got one from CVS. Thanks Collin:)

  16. Maria

I found a $10/1 One Touch Ultra Mini on my Sunday Newspaper from this past Sunday. There was also a $4/1 One Touch Strip Coupon as well.

  17. Cristal

I got all my coupons in 4-29 sunday paper. I tried this at 3 different Walgreens it did not work. So, I went to Walmart and priced matched and was out in no time.

  18. Ash

Well, Thanks everyone who printed 5, 6, 10, 12 coupons to donate. All I needed was ONE to “donate” to my very diabetic mother in law, who is very tight on money, and has no insurance since her husband was laid off. But now, there are no more prints 🙁

    • eas

Agree with Ash. Coupon hoarders are not cool.

    • britt

I just seen they have these coupons on ebay. you can get a few coupons for about $1. I don’t know if that would help but for $1 you could maybee get her a few meters and save money by not having to buy so many boxes of just test strips.
