I totally agree, I love this Immersion Blender! I use it regularly to puree baby food and it is so much easier to use and clean than a regular blender and/or food processor. Definitely recommend!
These are really great. If you ever want to make your own baby food, you definitely want to use this. So much more convenient than a blender or food processor.

Collin – and others who own this: How long have you had this and How often do you use it? I love making smoothies and such and will be making baby food again soon and would love one of these instead of hauling out the blender or bullet everytime. But the reviews are holding me back. All of the people who gave it 1 star said the same thing “the plastic connectors broke where the two pieces go together after only a few months of use” and the people who gave it 5 stars didn’t say how long they’ve had it for. I usually am in love with y brand new products for the first few months, but would like some reviews from people who have “worn them in” a bit to see if they’re still as good as in the begining.
I have one like this (except it’s white). I’ve had it since Christmas of 2010, I use it 7 times a week. It’s great. Very easy to clean, no problems what-so-ever! My husband uses it daily to blend his protein shakes, I use it often to blend green smoothies, soups, etc!
Highly recommended – have this model and use it almost daily. Super easy to clean too!

How powerful is it? Does it work to crush ice and make smoothies?
I just love my immersion blender!! I bought it in green two years ago, and it has been fantastic. I use it to make things like applesauce and tomato soup. After the big explosion of tomato soup in the regular blender, I just knew I had to have one of these. I highly recommend this product!!
Depending on the color you want, it might be cheaper to buy it elsewhere. I wanted white, which was $32 on amazon but only $28 (plus 6% shot at home cashback) on buy.com.
