After the rebate incident I wonder how many are still interested in supporting Neosporin?

      What happened with the rebate?

      • Kenia

I received my rebate the other day and their products are great, my twins eczema disappeared in two days =]

    • Sara

I received my rebate recently too.

      • mel

what incident? I received my rebate real quick, like a month after I mailed it.

Many of us received only partial rebates. I got a check for just $1.99. I used some extra care bucks to buy Neosporin. They subtracted $5 ecb and my $5 neosporin coupon. I paid over $12 out of pocket because I bought some cases of Coke, but they subtracted the coupon amounts anyways. What is strange is that my mom made the same kind of cvs purchase with coupons and she received the whole $12 rebate. There is inconsistency in their rebate processing.

I am less likely to do a rebate from Johnson & Johnson or Neosporin in the future.

          • Diane

They subtracted the coupon from my rebate amount, too. That’s okay, but it is puzzling that there is so much inconsistency in how they determined the rebate amount for various people.

My mom and I did the same transaction. She got the $12 rebated and they sent me $3. I am FURIOUS! Their rebate says they will honor the price of the item, not after coupons or EXTRA BUCKS!!!! And there is NO WAY to even contact the rebate center or company to get them to fix this.

I hate this company now.. HATE! They frauded me. Rebates are contracts with consumers and they did not hold their end. Since they have NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM TO FIX THIS, I am going to do the following tomorrow morning:

1.) File an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

2.) File an online complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

3.) File an online complaint with my State’s Attorney General.

4.) File an online mail fraud complaint with the US Postal Inspection Service.

If everyone does this, maybe they will be fined punished for their outright fraud of MANY CONSUMERS!

This will take about a half hour of your time to write this and submit to these sites, but it will be worth it if we all do it. Companies should not be allowed to fraud consumers like this.

I am with you. My mother in law got her rebate deducting the coupons (which is fine) but I got today $1.01!!!! Are you kidding me! If you have got a hold of any email or mailing address to fill out the complains maybe more people will do the same and we are more likely to be heard.

Never mind, I just read the posts below. Thank you DMC, we will see how this turns out!

  2. Stephanie

Got my rebate without a problem….

  3. Stephanie

    And I love this stuff!!!!

  4. Laura Smiley

I just saw these at my Wal Mart clearanced down to $5.97. This would make the final price $.97!!! Check the clearance section of the health and beauty area to see if it’s on clearance at your Wal Mart too!

    • J

was just going to post the same thing!

  5. M

I got my rebate ($13.99) last week – no problems.

  6. Susan

Still waiting on my rebate. Has there been a problem with it?

  7. gabby

What rebate problem? Got mine last week.

  8. moosiemom

got mine today for $3.79 🙁 anything I can do about this? I bought at $14.79, used $5 coupon and my ecb… I am very upset right now.

Rebates are contracts with consumers, and the rebate clearly said you would receive a check for the price of the item, and never said after coupons and store rewards used! By giving you a check for less than the price of the item that rung up, they broke the contract and it’s fraud.

CALL 1-800-223-0182 (M-F 8am – 8 pm) … They are finally getting their customer service on top of this (Usually their customer service is horrendous – think “Peggy” from the Capital One commercial) and forwarding the information for those who were wrongly rebated back to the rebate center for checks to be mailed in the difference. I was told it would take two weeks, but who knows for sure. I am documenting everything, dates, time I called and so on, in case I still need to follow through with my letters.

      • Pauline

Thank DMC. I called the number you provided. I told them that I did not use any coupons, they said I should received it in 3 weeks.

        • Rebeca

I called them. It took forever (the nice lady asked for lot numbers, expiration dates and even the (missing) UPC code! She said they were sending a check for the difference WITHOUT deducting the $5 dollar coupon! We will see, they do give you a reference number, so I am hopeful. Thanks again DMC for posting the info! 🙂
