Anheuser-Busch Parks: FREE for Military Members
Calling all military members and their families! Just a reminder since summer is almost here and I’m guessing lots of you are planning vacations. The Here’s to the Heroes Program is offering up a FREE admission at participating Anheuser-Busch parks to all active duty, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman.
To snag your FREE admission, here is what you need to do…
*Click here to register OR register in the entrance plaza of participating parks; you will be required to show a Department of Defense photo ID.
*As many as three direct dependents of military personnel also are entitled to free admission. Dependents may even take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minor dependents, and dependent ages 10 and over must present a valid dependent I.D.
*This offer is valid for one complimentary single-day admission per person, per year, during the regular operating schedules at one of the following: SeaWorld Orlando, San Diego, or San Antonio, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay or Williamsburg, Sesame Place, Water Country USA, Adventure Island (NOT valid for separate ticketed events including Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa.)
(Thanks for the reminder, Ashleigh!)
Rats-doesn’t apply to retired military 🙁
We are active duty but my mother-in-law is a retired dependent and they gave her half off her admission price when we went to Sea World. This was a couple years ago so it may have changed but you could always call and ask =)
This is truly a great deal! We got into Sea World for free about 2 years ago because my hubby is in the National Guard.
What about those who are medically retired because of injuries from combat? (purple heat recipients)
What about retired military vets who are injured disabled, etc due to serving this country. Is it only active duty…?
My husband is a disabled vet and he couldn’t use his Disabled American Veteran card to get into Disneyland during their latest military promotion. A lot of places will say they give military discounts, but only to active duty and sometimes retired. Rarely do places honor the disabled vet card. Sad.
Wow, that is really sad!
It does say up to 3 extra tickets but they let our entire family of 6 in for free. They also have a kennel on site so if you are traveling with your pup it has a place to hang out for the day. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful!
Oh, it is the Williamsburg park that has the kennel, not sure about any of the other parks.
YAY taking our daughter to DW in Sept. for her 5th birthday! We’ll definately be going to SeaWorld now!
We just did this on vacation in march! So much fun!
We’re not eligible, but this is a wonderful idea. Anything we can do for the military just isn’t enough!
We are out visitng my father here in Virginia and we did this yesterday at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. We had a wonderful time and the kids really enjoyed it. It was quick and easy to do and something that we truely appreciated.
We used this in March this year. Hubs is in the Guard. Basically, all you need to do is show a valid military ID (the kids and spouse must show one, also) and that’s all there is to it! He is not currently active, but is in the reserves, and it was good to go!
darn, i almost wish we did not have baby #3! (lol)! i guess we have to pay for him @ sesame place:(
Man, it doesn’t do it for veterans, I guess there are too many..
How do you know if your tickets were used or not? I don’t remember us using them this year…but is there a way to check?
