As much as I appreciate manufacturers making high value coupons available, it does irk me that they make them a value like one dollar and TEN CENTS. Obviously this is to keep them from being doubled, but I still am not sure why they care what a store does. The store only gets reimbursed the stated value of the coupon regardles of whether or not it gets doubled. It’s not a big deal to me, just sort of “gnat-like”, ya know? Just my own little rant there!

I honestly am happy cause not all states double coupons. I live in florida so I am thrilled for the extra $.10

    • Bobbie

I have wondered why the manufacturer would care if the store doubled as well (with any coupons).

      • Sarah

because in their mind it DEvalues their product

        • cdawnt

Walmart doesn’t double so I’m happy this one is $1.10!!

    • MCouzens

None of the stores I shop at double above $.50 so this is a great coupon for me too. It’s the $.55 coupons that irk me. ; )

  6. Cristal

Found the .90 off, can’t locate the $1.10 one

    • Shelby

It’s still there Cristal, look harder! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Abby

I didn’t see it at first either, you have to make sure you put in zip 33712 at the top. Then I found it!

If you shop at the commissary, these are usually around 1.60-1.70. So after 1.10=.50-.60 each. Not a bad price. I’ll be stocking up.

    • Amanda M

ohh! how I miss the commissary! ๐Ÿ™

    • amberwaves

I believe the Jell-o Temptations are $2 (rollback) at Walmart right now. So 90 cents with the $1.10 coupon.

So I went to Target today to snag travel sized coppertone and banana boat sunscreens. (I printed the $1/1 Target coupon before it said “excludes trial/travel size”) And I went through a line with no problems. My fiance went through another line with the same things as me and the cashier called someone over about one coupon and then that person said that we couldn’t use those coupons on the trial size because the trial size was $0.97 and the coupon was for $1. My fiance was all “can’t you just adjust it down?” and she said “no, you can’t use these”. I mean she was just not going to give it up. So I pulled the thing I hate to do….”well this cashier let me use them and they went through fine.” The cashier heard and totally sided with me and said that they went through fine and that Target was in the process of putting “excludes trial/travel size” on the coupon but some had been printed without that wording and they have to honor it. Score! Of course I was flustered with the “call over” woman because I ALWAYS have problems with her. Regardless, I’m glad someone there had my back. ๐Ÿ™‚

i get so agravated shopping at target because every cashierhas a diffrent way to do things there crazy i had to do something i hate to do also but i did it this one lady always purposley forgets to scan my coupons so i had to make the manager go over there and get out my coupons and give me my money for them it was only three dollars but i felt like i was taking a stand for us couponers she cannot do this to us and they should be more understanding i told th manager after he gave me a very p.oed look i said listen i dont coupon to give you all money i use coupons to save money then politley said thank you and me and my three kiddos left but anywayim sorry you had such a hard time i also have problems with my target!!!!!

      • cdawnt

Amanda, I use to ALWAYS have that problem, the cashier not scanning all my coupons. Made me so mad to get home and find I didn’t get credit and it’s REALLY too late at that point. I complained about that one time on this blog and a poster told me what I needed to do. She said hand them ONE coupon at a time and watch the total screen to see it come off then hand the next one and so on, this has worked great for me, I do that everywhere I go now. Some cashiers get a little aggravated, but don’t say anything. Some have rolled their eyes, etc., but I just tell them that sometimes they stick together and I don’t get credit. Couponing is the biggest pain and then to lose the value of even one during a transaction is infuriating, to me.
