Walgreens: P&G Overlapping Register Rewards + Rebate = Better than FREE P&G Products
Walgreens appears to have overlapping Register Rewards on select P&G products! Check out the deal scenario I was able to score a little earlier today…
Bought 1 Gillette Venus ProSkin Razor $10.99
Bought 1 Gillette Venus 4 ct box of Cartridges $12.99
Bought 2 CoverGirl Single Eye Shadows $3.99 each + on sale buy 1 get 1 50% off
Bought 1 Olay Foaming Face Wash on sale for $3.99
Total = $33.95
Used the FREE Venus razor with refill purchase coupon found in the 6/3 PG (deducted $10.99)
Used 2 $1/1 CoverGirl coupons found in the 5/13 or 6/3 PG
Used the $1/1 Olay Facial Cleanser coupon found in the 6/3 PG
Paid $19.96 (+ tax)
Then I got back…
* $8 Register Reward for purchasing the Venus Razor & Venus Refill (advertised in the weekly ad)
* $5 Register Reward for purchasing 1 Olay product, 1 Cover Girl product and 1 Venus product in the same transaction – valid 6/3 through 6/16.
* $3 Register Reward courtesy of P&G Beauty (not sure what triggered this one?) Thanks to reader, Jillian, the $3 Register Reward was generated for purchasing 1 Cover Girl product AND 1 Olay product in the same transaction!
After you take into account the $16 in Register Rewards, it’s basically like I got all of the above for just $3.96! Not too shabby!
…And this deal gets even sweeter because I can apply all of these P&G purchases towards the $10 P&G Mail-In Rebate offer when you spend $50 or more on participating P&G products (before coupons). So you could potentially do the above scenario or a similar scenario twice and then submit for the rebate to turn this deal into a moneymaker (after you subtract the Register Rewards and rebate). Note that you do have to make your purchases by tomorrow, 6/5 in order to take advantage of this rebate offer.
Your final total will look something like this:
Scenario #1: $19.96 (+ tax) out of pocket + $16 in Register Rewards
Scenario #2: $19.96 (+ tax) out of pocket + $16 in Register Rewards
Submit both receipts for the $10 P&G rebate
Final cost (after deducting Register Rewards and $10 rebate) FREE + $2.08 moneymaker!
On a side note, I am guessing there are a ton of different P&G products that would qualify for these overlapping P&G Register Rewards. I am not sure what all they are, but I do know that the scenario I did above triggered all 3 making for a very nice deal. Heads up guys I think the new cg eyeshadows are not linked wit the rr deal cuz my last 2 transactions didn’t work out didn’t get 5 or 3 dollar rr so a lil bummed still a good deal can’t complain also one of the venus embrace razors isn’t ringing right So they had to make 8 rr print so it didn’t work for me today to well but it all good paid 60 for 3 trans got 32 rr bak and the mir on cg olay products
I did not receive my $8 RR tonite for the Venus Razor and cartridge. They told me its because I had to ‘buy two but you really only bought one since you had a BOGO coupon”. I did my transaction exactly like Collins bought the exact same items to the tee and I came out with only one $5 RR and one $3.
ok, so i did exactly what the above directions stated and it only printed the $8.00 reward for the venus purchase 🙁 The crew at walgreens was AWESOME, they were very helpful,nice,and patient with me! My question is should i call walgreens or P&G to find out why it didn’t print the rest of my rewards?

Im so upset. I went back to Walgreens last night to do this deal the 2nd time in order to qualify for rebate. I just looked at rebate and it ended 6/5!! 🙁 1 day late!
I did the same thing too! But I went to Walgreens today. But we still got a great deal on make up, razors, and face wash. I chose to get the Venus & Olay razor instead of the kind Collin chose and had no problems. Even though I missed out on the rebate, I’m still a happy camper.

I purchased 2 Cover Girl eye shadow singles 1 @ 3.99 and 1 @ 1.99 and used the $1 off any one CG product coupon found in this Sunday’s P&G and I used $1 off any one CG product coupon from inside my tampax radiant box (used different ones because the P&G one specifies only ONE of these coupons per transaction). Then I bought the Venus & Olay razor and 3 pack cartridge and used the B1 Venus cartridge G1 Venus razor free. The razor was $8.99 and the cartridges were $11.99. Then I bought the Olay Foaming Facial Scrub @ $3.99 but had the $1 Olay facial product coupon from the P&G brandsaver this Sunday. I paid around $18.96 for these items and got $16 in RR’s back. Not too shabby! 😀

I am nervous about going and trying it if it doesnt…i did it yesterday and it worked but lots pof confusion I was told it was only on the venus olay then my olay face wash was 4.39 instead of 3.99 and then to annoy me more they removed the cartridge, not the razor – so I lost 2.00. anywhere know which walgreens I should go to so i dont have get confused, also do you have to buy 2 cover girls to get the 3 and 5 ? it seems like I would just have to buy 1 but I odnt want to chance it. THANKS!

so I did this deal tonight with my sister but they only had one facial cleanser left and so I went ahead and did my purchase at a walgreens near my house instead, I have no idea how but my sister got a better deal then me, I ended up paying 10$ more then I was suppose to, Im going to do the math now, It was too busy to figure it out there but we had the exact same coupons. I got all three RR but just paid more, hmm

I purchased the Venus Olay razor ($12.99), the Venus Olay cartridge ($16.99), two Cover Girl Lash Blast mascaras ($6.99 each), Olay bodywash ($7.49), Secret Clinical deodorant ($8.99) and used the free razor with cartridge purchase (-$12.99), B1G1 free CG mascara (-$6.99), $1/1 Secret, $2 off Olay bw w/Secret purchase. My total was 37.46 before tax and received the $10, $5 and $3 RR which brought my total to $19.46.
I originally tried to use the free Olay bw or bar w/ cartridge purchase, but the BA wouldn’t let me.
I tried the deal last night with 1 Venus olay razor (12.99) + 1 venus divine 4ct razor (16.49) + 1 CG blush (5.49) and 3 fillers. I used the $1/1 CG, BO razor GO cartridge and $2/1 Olay coupons plus $7 in past RR. I paid 12.66 after tax, but got NO RR back. I realized this morning that I was .51 cents off the $30 mark for the $10 RR, but have no explanation as to why the other ones weren’t triggered. I’m sad now because I forfeited my $7 RR. If I do a return now, do I get that back? Or, is it lost forever? On the reciept they only show up at MFG coupons, so I assume they are gone… Super sad face.
The other 2 rr both required a purchase of an olay product (ie face wash or body wash) if you return you’ll have get the full refund price (atleast that’s happened to me in the past) because they’ll still be getting reimbursed for the coupons and rr you used…hope this helps!
I guess I took a gamble because I thought that the Venus Olay razor would have worked for the other two (I thought I read somewhere else that it worked for others), but it didn’t. I just got back from the store and you’re right: I was refunded for the full price and then repurchased a different cartridge that was $1 more, so it DID finally trigger the $10 RR. I’m still trying to do all the calculations to see if I made it out ahead…although at this point, maybe it’s better if I DIDN’T know! haha.
That’s totally confusing because in the ad, it shoes the venus olay razor! I’m sorry you had trouble, but I would have used that and said hey it’s in the picture…I went tonight and noticed there wasnt a tag next to it, so I just went with another razor and cartridges..I got more that way anyway :)…I got a $10 rr and a $5 rr but didn’t get the $3 rr I was hoping for but oh well…I spent more than I wanted too, but I’ll do better next time! 🙂
