Last time I ordered ELF items, the eyeliner was all dried up. Anybody else have this issue?
i don’t buy eyeliner from them, but i’ve heard of it. elf is really hit or miss. the eyeshadow primer is great, love the HD powder and the oil blotting sheets. anything else i haven’t really liked… i’d prefer to spend more money on something wearable. remember, makeup this cheap really is a “get what you pay for” type of situation
For me, it’s been hit or miss with ELF. I love their eyeshadow primer and their brushes. 🙂
I LOVE a lot of their products. The only downfall is the liquid liners and the packaging of most of the $1 products (i.e. lipstick). The color pay off is wonderful but they may dislodge or crack at some point.
I would stock up on the gel liners, brushes (a must!), lipstick, eyelashes, and shadow primer.
Also…make sure you go through eBates. They have been 5.5% for the longest.
My local Target has started selling ELF products. Same prices as their website, but you don’t have to wait for free shipping codes or order certain amounts to get free shipping. And you can see the colors in real life!
Personally, I won’t be ordering from e.l.f. again. I ordered a variety of cosmetics last time and didn’t like the quality of any of them. Next time, I am going to buy my make-up with coupons from the drugstore. It might end up being a couple of dollars more, but I will be able to wear it.
elf is definitely hit or miss. love the eyeshadow primer (NEVER creases on my super oily lids), love the oil blotting sheets, love the HD all over powder (really looks natural as a setting powder, not cakey). however, the brushes (especially the lip brush) is atrocious. nail polishes are also thin and watery. I would say if you have a preteen learning how to use makeup, this would be a good starter brand because it lets her get a lot of colors and kinds of makeup to play with. but overall, I would only stick to a few choice things.
I love their luscious lipstick. I bought a bunch of those and some lip balm. I’m not too crazy about some of their facial products.
