Walgreens Deals 7/1-7/7

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

If you are a newbie to Walgreens shopping, make sure to check out my Walgreens Store guide. And if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.

Also, as most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy. You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

Want to create your own custom printable shopping list?!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙂

  3. Dawn

Is the $3 charcoal coupon gone? I printed one this morning, dang I wish I had printed 2!! I can’t find it now.

  4. pamela maciejewski

wouldnt the hershey bliss end up being $1.50 per bag if they 2/$6 and you use the $1/2 megasaver & 2) $1/1 manufacturer coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Buy 2 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures on sale 2/$6
Use the $1.50/1 Walgreens store coupon found in the July Coupon Booklet
      (will deduct $3)
Plus, use 2 $1/1 Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Facebook coupons found here
Final cost only $1 total – $0.50 each!

The coupon in the July Coupon Booklet is actually a $1.50/1 coupon! 🙂

      • pamela maciejewski

You are correct on the hersheys simple pleasures one – i was referring to the one you have posted below it for hershey bliss that you have them coming out at $1 a bag using a $1/2 megasaver and 2) $1/1 manufacturer coupons

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOL! Major brain fart… sorry about that! 😉 You are right… I am going to update the post now. It would be $1.50 per bag.

      • CHARMAINE

        Yes Idid this so sweet.

  5. pamela maciejewski

Also i see that you have 7 Up, A&W, SunKist, Canada Dry, or Hawaiian Punch 2 liters $0.88 above and i dont know if it is cause of a regional difference but in the sneak peek ad that i saw it says that dr. pepper 2 liters are .88 cents in the pic with the 7up – there was a $1/2 dr. pepper 2 liter coupon last weekend and that makes these .38 cents each

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep… it seems that soda deals do tend to be regional.

      • Jane

Collin, where can I get the Oreo coupon to use with milk purchase?

        • Olivia Douglass

This is a Facebook coupon that is available at the beginning of each month.

  6. Alicia

I can’t seem to locate the Dentyne Ice coupons.

    • Kele

      Use area code 33433. ^_^

      • Kele

        jeesh…zip code.

        • Glenn

I printed out the dentyne ice coups and they have the walmart logo on it and say redeemable at walmart. Will walgreens accept these coups?

          • Mersiha

it should they don’t say only at Walmart and they should scan at walgreens registers

  7. Carol_R

    Thanks for the match-ups Collin!

  8. wags ba

two things to express with u guys as a walgreens beauty advisor first off i cant stress this enough please check out in cosmetics as much as you can if not everytime u come in our dept is based on perctange of sales and we compete wit all the other registers and have to get the prectange up as high as we can so more sale and more people higher it goes and def if u have any items from first 3 isles ie makeup skincare suncare hair care baby fem dental make sure to check it out in cos that r red zone and will give us better and high perctanges also if u have multiple transactions take them to cos so u wont clog up the front and get dirty looks as a side note most ba’s are friendlier more knowlegable about policys and deals have coupons u may not have and a shorter checkout line or no line at all i have 2 coupon holders stuffed to the brim for my custumers some of which i bring from the paper some of which mfg send us i just have a hard time getting people to check out wit me so just to give u guys a head up give ur cos girl some love the 2nd thing was r coupon policy has slightly changed as to wat the registers will allow u can no longer use a b1g1 coupon with a 1.00 off on one coupon the register will reject it and it cant be put in any other way the register will reject it for insantce the b1g1 venus dis razor coupon that expired today and the 2.00 on one venus cant be used together anymore yes it sucks we used to be able to but i blame tlc and that god awful show ruining it for everyone

    • Chelsea

I’ve been checking out at the beauty counter more recently now. it’s so much nicer; no pressure from anyone to hurry up with transactions and they’re so nice!! also, thanks for letting us know about not being able to use b1g1 and another mq. it’s very important. Thanks!

      • wags ba

no prob wat im here for if u have any wags questions i will try to answer them i tried the deal myself to see if it was tru that it wont work and it is true sucks to 🙁

    • Tracy

First, sorry, but punctuation would make that a whole lot easier to read. Second, I never understood the cosmetics counter. If Walgreens want us who have coupons to check out there, why not make it more obvious? I’m buying stuff, I go to the main registers… Every register should be able to check us out with no problem. But like I said, I never understood that cosmetics counter business there. Is there even a need for a separate counter like that in Walgreens?

      • wags ba

Omg who are you the grammer police it is not that serious it a blog chill out the cosmetics register is there so people may check out it is a lot easier to check out at but if you wannna be one of the idiots that stand in line 10 minutes at the front be my guest while the folks in cosmetics leave before you do as a side note I’d be glad you took your business up front you sound like a very rude person

        • Gil

Afraid I agree with ya. No place for unkind comments on Collin’s space.
“Attitudes” not welcome here. I too try to help out the ladies in cosmetics.

        • Megan

Holy cow…..Tracy I didn’t think you were rude but wags ba…..whoa there. You could be a little kinder.

    • Trinity

Thank you for the information on the bogo and an additional coupon. Also, I do try to check out at the BA counter a lot more these days too. Unfortunately, I’ve scaled back on Wags lately, but I continue to keep in mind everything you’ve said in mind!! 🙂 THANK YOU for your tips/advice. They’re all very helpful and please continue letting us know about changes and so forth. Thanks again!!

    • Sue Ellen

Thanks for the info. I will use the cos counter now. Keep letting us know these secrets. I tend to get a little frustrated with Walgreen’s and the supply of sales items. Any suggestions?

      • wags ba

i have a few first make friends with the beauty advisor also ask if she can have them order extra of the items u will be looking for so we can get that back to our managers and find out what day the truck is on and if they get the item u need in if they can hold it for you or we can call you if the items come in. you can also call before you go to see if we have the items in stock. and rain checks are your best friend get them as long it not on rr items because we cant write it for the rr unforuntaly and our rain checks dont expire

  9. rosebudds

How can I print a Hershey’s Simple Pleasure coupon? I have been on the fb page forever trying to figure out how to print 🙁

    • K Crew

me too! I can’t figure it out!

      • Amber

You have to push DECLARE INDEPENDANCE and then follow the directions. After you do that it will let you print the coupon.

  10. missina

FYI I just went to wags to do 6/24 sales and my store already activated the bogo 50% on coppertone. It rang up $9.79 and 4.89, I used the $5/2 cp 6/24ss and the skin care $1 off. Paid $7.68 plus tax and received the $10 rr. So they paid me $2.32 for 2 bottles of coppertone sport sunscreen! I love hip2save and enjoy how everyone passes on the great deals they find so we can all save money!

    • campanita

Thank you for letting us know, that is what Iam planning to do later. I hope it works for me too. Too bad the Walgreens coupons only work with the sport sunscreen 🙁

      • stacia

I did that 3 times tonight!!!!!

    • Sarah

So even though the deal was last week, it still works this week? :O

    • Em

Is this 10rr an unadvertised deal? In my add, the only thing it said was it was bogo 50%. Nothing about a 10rr

  11. Kim

The BOGO ESPN balls would be great gifts for Angel Tree kids at Christmas or Toys for Tots.

    • Deb

      We’re thinking alike, Kim:)
Last things Ipicked up were those cute Kohl’s plush animals for $2.50 each.
      Let’s get some of these!

    • Brenda

These would be great for donating. I would recommend that you really double check the balls before you purchase them though, I bought some of this brand around Christmas time and had to return them all because they went flat before I donated them.

      • Susan

That is really good advice Brenda. I do try to include a hand pump whenever I am donating sports balls so the recipient will not be disappointed.

        • Melissa

          re: including a hand pump
          Great idea! thanks!

      • terry

Heads-up to the sports balls going flat, my husband was a soccer coach and soccer ref for many years. In addition, he was the Soccer Commissioner for the little league teams in our town. He always bought balls that deflated. It was a better quality ball (he explained why but I forgot).

        • Brenda

That’s good to know, Terry. I didn’t know that about soccer balls. I bought several basketballs and they went so flat that you couldn’t even dribble them.

  12. Kristin

The coupons for pepsi are marked at one coupon pet customer transaction. There are only diet pepsi, pepsi max and pepsi next coupons, so the scenario you listed would not work using four coupons. You can only print one per 180 days. It also said that they can track if you print out more than one copy and that you will be held accountable if they catch you. even though it asks how many copies you want to print, that is not ok to do so. So, you would need to buy one pepsi next, one pepsi max, one diet pepsi and then whatever other one you want, using the three coupons.

    • AMY

Some people print coupons from more than one computer.

      • Bridget

She also indicated that the coupons read “one per transacation”…. i haven’t seen the coupons but if that is true it won’t work regardless of how many computers you have… like i said, i haven’t seen the coupons, but please check before you do the transaction, or maybe Colin can check for us… but please don’t use them wrong! Thanks

      • Kristin

AMY i am very well aware that you can print from multiple computers. Like i said, they still say one per customer transaction. Last time i checked at walgreens you had to buy all the items in one transaction. I am sure you are one of those people who just doesn’t care about things like that though. I will continue to use my coupons correctly. 🙂

        • Julie

The Pepsi coupons are on commonkindness. This is the advisory that is on their page when you log in (which I just noticed yesterday):

“Anti-fraud notice: Fraudulent use of CommonKindness coupons can be traced to the violator who will be prosecuted. You are allowed to print one (1) print per coupon within the time period that the advertiser has selected.”

The coupons do have tracking info in the upper right hand corner. HTH! 🙂

        • Gil

Kristin, you are the 2nd person on the WGS comments section talking very unkindly to a complete stranger-does that make it right? NO.
Please don’t come on this blog passing judgement on others. We’re all for adding helpful, polite suggestions to enhance our shopping experiences but you only detract from that.

          • Kristin

Gil, just as you are passing judgement on me… Funny. You felt the need to speak to a complete stranger a little snotty too , all Im saying is people should use the coupon correctly and inform others on how to use them correctly also.

  13. Sarah

Is the Mitchum coupon in the 6/24 SS regional? I don’t think I have it in mine :/

    • Diane

It wasn’t in mine either (Mpls Star Tribune).

  14. Maria R.

On the Hawaiian Tropic Sun Care deal the Beauty Advisor at the cosmetic counter may still have left ove $2 mfc from last weeks Saturdate. I am a B.A. for Walgreens and know that I still have about 15- 20 foe these coupons left.
Also don’t be shy ask us what kind of coupons we have that day. We are glad to share them. And the more we can get to know you we my even save coupons for items we know you will use, I do it all the time, and we can let you know of up coming sales.

    • are318

I totally agree with you Maria…Im also a BA and i clip coupons for my regular customers… For our Saturdates, we prepare baskets full of freebies to do raffles and share with customers that buy the products we promoting on that week… I encourage all of you ladys to stop at the beauty counter 🙂

      • Trinity

So nice to know!! I’ve never stopped here for the “SaturDate” before but you’ve got me totally interested now. I may just have to do this next week now!! Thanks ladies!!

    • Lydia Goslin

Does the Hawaiian tropic sun care deal start on the seventh? I went into my WG and the deal wasn’t there yet.

  15. Deb

Don’t forget to use your $1. off Oreos when you buy gal milk IP’s on the Nabisco deal-there’s no size restriction on the cookies.

    • Jane

Where can I get the oreo coupon please?

  16. Debbie

I don’t see a $7 coupon off Nicorette products on the link provided. Anyone else see a coupon?

  17. Allison Novess Brittain

The Zantac Cool Mint Coupon is only valid on the 50 ct which I don’t believe is included in the sale price. Not sure how this would change the scenario.

  18. carol

My Walgreens will not print out a register reward if a manufacturer’s coupon is used in the transaction. The manager stated that it is like using two coupons for one item. Huh? This happened with the Gillette Fusion Razor, which had a $5 RR. I had a $5 manufacturer’s coupon, and the reward did not print. I asked why, and that was the reason he gave me. I got a refund, got my coupon back, and have not been back in Walgreens since.

    • Rachael

I have had problems with wags employees making up reasons why the coupons/register rewards do not work also. I think they just get so flustered sometimes they are unsure what to say. In this weeks ad there are lots of items that show using a coupon and receiving a register reward. If you were leary about trying again, keep a copy of the ad in with your coupons and show them if you do not receive the rr. It would not need to be the exact item you are buying, just the principle of allowing coupons on rr items.

      • Deb

At my store, cashier is instructed to OVER RIDE and provide good customer service.

    • ali

On very rare occasions, the coupon you used may be coded the same as the RR, so the system thinks you already used a RR to pay for it, and won’t issue a new one in return. The only time this can happen is when your coupon is for the same dollar amount as the RR you are expecting to receive. I’m going to assume this is what happened. Otherwise, if you had used a $4 coupon instead of a $5 coupon, for example, you probably wouldn’t have had any problems. Don’t let this discourage you…Walgreens can be an amazing place for coupon deals. 🙂

    • wags ba

that not true i did the mitchum 3 times today and used coupons my rr printed we are always told to force them out if they dont print and void the sale we forced to produce them

  19. Deb

Just back from Acworth,GA WGS on Baker.
They DO NOT even have the Hershey Simple Pleasures.Cashier researched in pc & said its new but they havenot received any yet 🙁
    Also-NO Kelloggs Crunchy Nut Cereal-Rats!
I was able to get all my Nabisco cookies tho, and the Mitchum.

    • LaToya

Idaho here – they had them, but they weren’t out on the shelves yet. The manager went and brought me some. Also, they must not be keyed in to the system or something because the coupon from the July book wouldn’t work either. They made it work, but it was a little bit of a process this morning. All worked out in the end though.

    • Ariel

I found them on a back end cap with all the clearance stuff.

      • Ariel

The July coupon wouldn’t work for me either, so they decided to just price modify them to $1.50 after adding in fillers, taking off all my coupons trying to figure out why it wouldn’t work. So in the end, I was expecting my total to be around $3 after all my coupons and RR. Ya, it was $22!!! They totally screwed me. I am going back tonight when there is a mananger there to get all my money back. I seriously just bought the Mitchem, 4 bags of simple pleasures, and two neosporine anti itch cream and I had at least one, or two coupons for each item! Thats what I get for not checking out at the make up counter. I should have known better.

  20. Gil

Rinse & Repeat Scenario:(assuming you have at least $4.RR from last week to begin)
    Buy3 Kelloggs Fiber Plus Bars & 1 Nice Gelatin = 10.49
    Use 3 .75/1 Q’s in6/17 RP and WGS in-ad NiceQ on gelatin & $4.RR from last wk
    Pay 3.75 Get $4.RR!

    Buy 2 Mitchum & 1 Nice Gelatin
    Use2 1/1 Mitchum IP’s or 6/24 SS and WGS in-ad Nice Q & $4. RR from above
    Pay .20 cents & get $4.RR!

Do over & over again until you run out of product on the shelves or coupons 🙂

  21. Ali

I bought the nabisco cookies and used the $1off coupon and received NO register rewards. 🙁

  22. Nicole

The Neosporin coupon was NLA for me 🙁

  23. Steph

Not having much luck finding the Dentyne coupon. Anyone have a zip code?

  24. Teresa

Is anybody having trouble printing the Pepsi coupon? The one I printed doesn’t have any picture it just has X where the picture should have been!

  25. SanDiegoShopper

The printable Neosporin coupon doesn’t work, the coupon program has ended. Does anyone know of anywhere else I can print a $3/1 coupon??? My 6/10 RP coupon is only $2/1. 🙁

  26. Jenny

Are the Mitchum coupons gone already? I tried 3 different zip codes and nothing came up 🙁

    • Jill

I’ve been trying to find it for days and can’t figure it out… tried several different zips, etc. Must be gone?!

  27. j

Ok, newbie here. 🙂 reading all these post about printing off too many coupons can get you in trouble. i had read somewhere that you could print two coupons per computer at the free coupon places online, is that true or not true? i dont want to do anything wrong….

    • Shea

Yes. For coupons.com, redplum.com, smartsource.com, couponnetwork.com, etc. you are allowed to print 2 copies of each coupon. Each coupon will have their own unique number meaning the coupon is not copied or fraudulent.

      • j

ok thank you. all this can seem a touch overwelming! haha

  28. Jordan

On the Hershey’s simple pleasure it says that the the $1.50 Walgreens coupon will actually be $3? I’m just a little confused because I didn’t think they would scan it twice in one transaction. Will it automatically double it because you’re buying two?

    • SanDiegoShopper

Yes, it will take $1.50 off each one you buy. I love that about Walgreens!

  29. barbara

i had a question on the butterball tukey bacon it say “‘LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE” so does that mean i can only use one per transaction??

    • amy

In general, most coupons will either state “one per perchase” or “one per transaction”.
“one per perchase” means one coupon per item perchased- meaning you can use one coupon with one coupon item.
“one per transaction” means just that.
      Hope this helps!

      • barbara

        thnx so much!

  30. Ron

Does anyone have the PDF Dentek coupon that I could download. Here is my email address: rojack4650@hotmail.com
