I bought everything at the store – it’s not just online. I got the paper, batteries, and glue sticks among other things when I ran into the store and used/earned max rewards again!
are the glue sticks also buy 2 get 1 free i want to buy these and donate them to my sons class. plus when school went out for summer break they gave him a list of what supplies are going to be needed for 1st grade

I’ve never done MaxPerks before- is the money given back to you in store credit? Are you then able to use it on other MaxPerk Rewards (ie roll them)?

Can anyone explain how MaxPerks works? Just trying to figure out if its money that stays on the card that you can use say even the next day or do you have to earn so much back first. I can’t find it online anywhere.
They are awarded quarterly, by the end of the month after the quarter ends and then you have until the end of the 4th month after the quarter ends to use them. (My rewards that were earned in the quarter 1/1/12 to 3/31/12 were awarded by 4/30/12 and will expire on 7/31/12.) I can’t remember if I have rolled them in the past but according to customer service I should be able to. I made a purchase using a reward yesterday but it will take 2-3 days for me to see it posted to my account so I don’t quite know how it will all work out this time.
I have a Office Max Maxperks number and this has been a great money saver for me.
According to their records, since July 1, 2011 until July 11, 2012,I have purchased about $125 worth of merchandise but I have received about $90 worth of Office Max rewards back (so essentially I have spent $35 OOP).
I have bought:10 AA batteries, 30 AAA batteries, 6 packages of (my and my son’s favorite) pens, 2 packages of highlighters, 1 package of dry erase markers, 2 reams of printer paper, and 1 color ink cartridge. The ink alone costs $32!
Tuesday I used a $55.29 reward (from the 1st quarter of the year) and a $5 coupon from the newspaper to purchase: 20 AA batteries, 20 AAA batteries, 2 reams of paper, a 8 GB flash drive, 20 #2 pencils, 2 4-packs of glue sticks, 1 1″ binder, and I received 10 folders for free. I only had to pay $0.40 OOP. Plus I should receive another reward worth $41.52. Which would mean my purchases til now will have been about $180 worth of merchandise and $131 worth of rewards. So for basically $18 more than the cost of the ink alone I have purchased a lot of supplies!
I keep an eye out on their circulars for the sales that offer bonus rewards and then either roll the rewards or purchase ink with them.
