These towels are great! I have been buying them for the past 4 years for my kids. We have all of the boy or gender neutral ones. Mine do not shed and even after 4 years they are holding on strong.
I have two frog ones, one lion and a duck. I have used them for my son since he was a baby and he’s 2 now. They are great and he loves seeing himself as an animal after bath time. I was sad to see the shark was sold out bc we don’t have that one yet! BTW they wash extremely well.
We have 3 of these (duck, butterfly, & frog) and I LOVE them! My DD is 3 and 36″ and they still come down to the floor when on her head. She’s been using them for over a year and I have had no problems with them shedding in the washer or dryer (we use front loaders). She loves them and I would buy more in a heartbeat! They make great gifts too!

I “splurged” and got the princess wrap for my daughter. i don’t normally pay more than $5 on a towel but this was too cute.
Maybe mine was a fluke but we got the monster one and it is terrible. Its shredding and you have to cut the matted strings off everytime you wash it!!
Mine did the same thing – we got the monster and the frog 🙁 I threw it away, it wasn’t worth the mess.
Same here with the shark teeth. The shark looks like it always has floss stuck in his teeth! My son still loves it though!

Got a shark towel & matching wash mitt for my little guy last yr (they’re now referred to as “Big Sharky & Lil Sharky”!!!) Before Christmas the towels were priced @ $7.99 & wash mitts @ 2.99. They have held up wonderfully- The fabric is still in very good condition w/ minimal normal wear. Absorbent & soft enough for my 2 1/2 yr old. *I purchased these in-store & checked out a few of them- lion, frog, duck & the shark. There was a lack of consistancy in the quality of the fabric. I would suggest trying to make an exchange if you get one that is not up to par.*

We have two of these, the owl and some other animal and they are very cheap. They have not held up well at all. So this is not a bargain to me.
I have the butterfly and lion and they have held up for two years. They still look great.
